We are moving our online course to a new membership site platform that allows for more customization than I have seen in other courses. With that comes the ability to design colors and layout. I attempted to do this on my own but failed miserably at finding good colors and a layout for the page that was appealing and functional.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found them through Upwork and found them to have great reviews and they were an affordable price

We met via video chat a few times to outline the project. From there I was given access to Figma so I could see the progress of the design and give direction on what we wanted to see.

I communicated mostly with Geetanjali. She was pleasant to speak with and very responsive to my messages. I'm not sure how many others were working on the project. I was able to speak with one other individual and it looked like 1-2 more were working on the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I loved the design they came up with. They proposed several design ideas as we moved through the project and listened well to my questions and concerns.

It did take a little longer than I was hoping, but part of that was on my end and how quickly I could share my needs

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really liked being a part of the design process. I've worked with companies in the past that would create a design and then work through to near completion before I had any input. They gave me the opportunity to give input from the first day.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We did have some moments where I shared my needs and they went in a different direction. I will take responsibility for my part in the communication process. The project I gave them was a little different due to the limitations of the membership site and what we could and could not edit on the site.

We needed a company to develop the UX design for our iOS and web applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Headspur designed the UX for each app using information about my company that I provided. I also gave the Headspur team a rough mockup of how I wanted the app to look and the functionalities I wanted to include. Headspur helped build a framework to understand customer support issues. Headspur’s team then took the information they compiled and turned it into high-fidelity app and landing page designs in Figma. My engineers used those designs to build the app.

I worked with Geetanjali (Founder and Head of Growth) and Nishant (Head of Digital and Co-Founder).

I found Headspur on Upwork.

We’ve invested around $25,000 with Headspur. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership with Headspur began in June 2021, and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t have any specific metrics, but I’ve received positive feedback about the designs Headspur created. In general, Headspur is great to work with. 

How did Headspur perform from a project management standpoint?

Headspur has excellent project management, and we use Slack to communicate outside of our biweekly meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Headspur really understands how to craft a creative and successful user journey — they have an intuitive approach to project design. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

It was a little challenging to balance the time zone differences, but that was the nature of the situation, so there wasn’t anything we could do to change it.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise future clients to have a clear scope of work and a rough product design prepared before going into a partnership with Headspur. That way, the Headspur team can provide feedback and eventually turn everything into a beautiful design.

I and a friend of mine started a real estate firm for luxury properties. We operate primarily in India. I’m the founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with Headspur?

I work with my partner on converting leads coming through our website, but I’m not too technical. We hired Headspur to create our website along with our entire digital content.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Headspur handles everything from our emails to the leads that come through online. As for the website, I explained what I wanted and they gave me a couple of design examples. I don’t know what platform they built it on, but the site lists multiple real estate developers, each one with their own page. Our next plan is to integrate it with WhatsApp.

I’m working with Geetanjali (Founder) and Nishant (Co-Founder & Head of Digital).

We’re in the same state, and they were referred to me by a friend.

The quoted cost is $15,000, and we’ve paid them around $8,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our discussions around February 2021, and the work started around March 2021. We’ll be starting the next scope soon.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our local real estate scene is traditional and hasn’t been digitally-driven. We’re the first ones to do this, and I've gotten really good feedback on the website from developers and building owners.

We’ve closed four clients over the last 1–2 months, which is a good number to start with since people buying real estate don’t tend to use the internet. From this perspective, I’m happy with my investment.  

How did Headspur perform from a project management standpoint?

I haven’t worked with other agencies before so I have nothing to compare them with. However, as a project manager myself, I’ve worked in corporations and have found Headspur to be professional when following up and providing multiple designs and research. They’ve been mostly on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Changes are constant in our world, and Headspur doesn’t get stuck on what we’d initially discussed. If something additional needs to be done, they adapt to it. They’re very agile in this regard.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. We’ve done a bit of back-and-forth on the design, but that’s part of the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Headspur Technologies could have done differently?

Our collaboration with Headspur Technologies was overwhelmingly positive. If there were a minor suggestion for enhancement, it would be to possibly provide slightly more in-depth post-launch training for our team on the Analytics tools and features they introduced. This would just help ensure that our team can fully utilize every aspect of the platform. Aside from this, the project went smoothly, and any feedback is merely a reflection of our desire to optimize every phase of collaboration.
