I needed a simple AR app that played a video when a specific photo is scanned. The video would be accessed via a QR code generated via an online upload portal and saved on a secure UK-based server.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app needed to be created on a fairly short timescale and Harmony delivered well within this. It needed to be simple, secure and most importantly easy to use for the end user resulting otherwise we could have overwhelmed with questions on it. So far, it has been up and running for the last few months and we have had zero enquires on how to use it.

Everything was delivered on-time and all within the brief. During testing, they were extremely responsive, emails would be replied to within minutes and updates applied shortly after.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The fact I could contact all the people involved in the project was a big plus. From the app developer to the web developer and all the way up to MD I could easily contact them. Being UK-based with all work being done within that office meant if I needed or wanted to, I could go there to meet and chat. They were upfront and honest, and the way they came across in the first virtual meeting made me feel comfortable in what was completely unknown territory.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Harmony Studios could have done differently?

I honestly can't think of anything. Everything was delivered on-time and for the agreed price.

The team has also handled the app's ongoing maintenance and any relevant changes required. Additionally, we've asked them to provide statistical evidence of how the app is being used.

We've collected data on the app's downloads, which depends on how the app is highlighted to the schools and the amount of interaction. We've also received mostly positive feedback from the pupils using the app.
