Our process with gryd.io has consisted of two phases: an introductory and an ongoing support phase. Initially, we onboarded them into our system and helped them get acquainted with our team. Then they began providing us with managed helpdesk and ongoing maintenance services. 

Additionally, we've collaborated on various projects with them over time. They've done some software administration for us along with managed IT services. The team performs all the work remotely.

Our engagement began in October 2020, and it's ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Before bringing on gryd.io, we didn't have anyone specifically for IT. We had a backlog of a few hundred IT helpdesk issues from employees directly. Thanks to the gryd.io team's efforts, they cleared the backlog in just two months. Nowadays, we receive an average of 3-5 daily requests, and the team always resolves them quickly and efficiently.

How did gryd.io perform from a project management standpoint?

Most of our communication is through email, Zoom, and phone calls on occasion. We have an ongoing retainer, and they stick to the budget. The team always meets the deadlines.

We utilize Atlassian, Jira, or a ticket management system to streamline our work processes. It's significantly enhanced our ability to keep track of statistics, manage tasks, and stay updated on current issues from our perspective.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The gryd.io team's work is exceptional, and our experience with them has been phenomenal. We've been entirely hands-off after the onboarding and kickoff, and their team has blown us away. They take care of everything on their end, and we don't have to worry about any tickets or issues. We can give them a description of what we need, and they take care of things. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing I can think of for areas of improvement.

gryd.io will be a fantastic fit if you need in-house IT or are looking to outsource part of your technical support process.

I’m the IT director of an online auto auction marketplace. We perform B2B and B2C sales through our website.

We needed help with some IT projects that were outside of our scope of work, one of which involved software development and implementation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

gryd.io provided remote development and cybersecurity services for our company. We started with a kickoff meeting where we defined our project’s goals and created a timeline. Then, gryd.io worked on each project and went over each step of the process as it was completed for review. gryd.io provided any necessary training and implemented Jira for us. 

gryd.io also installed email security software and provided monitoring and maintenance services. Regarding cybersecurity,  gryd.io conducted initial testing and implemented different security policies on our front- and backend using Microsoft Azure. gryd.io assisted with any necessary training during the project. gryd.io also helped us create security policies for device management and user security.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before working with gryd.io, we had a major lack in our device management security policies since a lot of our devices were unsecured and non-compliant. After working with gryd.io, they went through the initial testing and implemented different security policies that resulted in 100% compliance.

How did gryd.io perform from a project management standpoint?

gryd.io delivered work on time and answered all our questions in our weekly reviews. They met the project’s goals and timeframe and delivered work sometimes ahead of schedule. We used Jira for project management and communicated mostly through email and phone calls.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by gryd.io’s flexibility and adaptability, which allowed them to find creative solutions to meet our goals. The team had a results-driven and problem-solving approach.

I can’t think of anything off the top of my head for gryd.io to improve.

The team runs an ongoing help desk and has taken over staff request management. They handle all technical questions, issues, onboarding, and off-boarding. gryd.io also works on a few key projects, including implementing a backup solution for our Microsoft Office 365 users. They’ve created an asset device management software that tracks our signees and devices like monitors and mice. 

gryd.io has replaced all our machines, created a lifecycle, and completed Microsoft SharePoint development. The team works remotely.

Before working with gryd.io, we had no help desk or device management, and they’ve been able to put together those systems for us. They take multiple requests daily and have a 100% resolution rate. Our device management is completely automated and easy to use on our end. We’re highly satisfied with their work.
