SANIL stands for Student-Athlete NIL ("Name Image and Likeness"). In 2021, the NCAA, which governs college athletics in the US, allowed student-athletes to be paid. However, they cannot be paid directly by the colleges/universities. Therefore, each university has a "Collective" which takes in money from donors, business, and fans and distributes that money to student-athletes. SANIL owns and operates over 50 collectives on behalf of universities. We are the leading provider in the market.

Design, develop, test and implement a Microsoft PowerBI app for coaches and athletic department personnel to view financial reports, transaction list reports, charts, and graphs. The app has over 20 custom pages and has row-level security so end-users can only view their specific data.

They had a detailed project plan. Alot of time was spent on the front-end to understand the requirements, data sources, and UX. The project was delivered on time. When issues or changes were identified, they were quick to respond. Most of the time, the made changes the same day.

I worked for EY, Accenture,and PwC in senior positions for 20 years. The people at GRSP were as good as any. They are incredible.

We are a Swedish media company that builds digital meeting places for buyers and sellers. As the head of product for the platform, I'm responsible for the functionality of all components of the system as well as conceptualization of new services.

We are developing b2c solution that makes our customers’ moving process to be as easy as possible. Application gives customers opportunity to find the best local service providers that can help them with moving process. Platform provides huge set of analytics data for service providers, that allows to improve and adjust their services fast. GRSP Tech provided experienced team to develop application from mockups to working platform.

We hired dedicated team of that included UX/UI designer (1 FTE), Full stack engineers (2 FTE), Project manager (0.5 FTE), and DevOps engineer (0.5 FTE).

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to put our MVP into production within 2 months. of inception and continue to make new releases on a regular basis. This has allowed us to engage new clients on regular basis.

The regular standups helped to keep everyone up-to-date on each other's workloads. We used a shared Jira board to allocate workloads and check overall progress and move requirements through development, QA, and into production.

I love the fact that GRSP Tech team is always ready to help and put a lot of effort and all their knowledge into every aspect of their work. We’ve been able to bring in absolutely top-caliber talent. These are developers that we’d be happy to hire locally if they were here in this tough job market.

Bokadirect is a booking company specialized in the health and beauty industries. We have around 20,000 professional users and 20 developers, some of which work on a consultancy basis. We also have a marketplace where consumers can book health and beauty services directly. Within the company, I’m the chief product officer for the marketplace side of our business.

What challenge were you trying to address with GRSP Tech?

We had a shortage of developers to help us in SEO, so we sought the help of GRSP Tech to provide us with those services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

GRSP Tech provides us with one developer who focuses on SEO development for our marketplace. This person implements backend SEO tactics and has also implemented frontend SEO. Initially, we provided them with some documentation to start off, and they’ve been helping us with our platform since.

Our platform is a web-based app also available for Android and iOS. Besides SEO development, GRSP Tech also provides maintenance to the platform and implements new features related to SEO. For example, we now have a feature that allows customers to search for services based on how well other customers rate those service providers.

We work with one person from GRSP Tech’s team.

How did you come to work with GRSP Tech?

We found GRSP Tech on a platform that provided us with several consultancy companies and CVs of freelancers interested in our project. We interviewed them from both technical and personal perspectives, and they seemed to be professional and motivated to do a good job for us, so we went with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend approximately $60,000 per year.

What is the status of the engagement?

We started the project in August 2020, and we’re still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to GRSP Tech, the search engine in our platform is fast and delivers results for available time slots to book services very quickly. That aspect of our search engine is very complex because there are hundreds of millions of options available across the multiple service providers and their respective calendars. Still, GRSP Tech has managed to develop a fast search engine filled with a lot of data.

Furthermore, our apps have 4.9 stars on the app stores. Although that result isn’t directly attributable to SEO development, the search engine of our platform is an important part of its success.

How did GRSP Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

GRSP Tech has performed pretty well; I would give them high marks. Sometimes, they meet the deadlines, but other times they deliver a few days behind. Still, we’re pleased with their service; that’s why we’ve been working together for two years. We use Zenhub to track and manage our project, and we have constant communication on Slack. The developer is part of our daily stand-up meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

GRSP Tech is very responsive. Their project manager is fast to respond and tries their best to provide detailed answers to our questions and offer support whenever we need help.

Are there any areas they could improve?:

The language domain of GRSP Tech’s developer wasn’t the best initially, but he has improved since.

Make sure you talk to and interview the developers that will be working for you.

I'm the owner and CEO of Tocca Entertainment. Normally we produce live entertainment, but because of the pandemic we have expanded to more online content as well.

We wanted to create a unique personality test online, the goal was to make it very user friendly, fun and accurate.

We interviewed several tech companies and GRSP stood out in terms of motivation, positivity and a great understanding for what we wanted to accomplish with the project.

We needed to incorporate the actual Myers Briggs test and create a great looking site.

We haven't really pushed the site out yet, since we're waiting for Google Ad sense to approve the site. The people that have seen the site so far seem very positive.

We had several meetings over zoom and some mailing back and forth. I think the whole process was very easy and they understood our needs and were very quick to adapt. I couldn't be happier and would love to work with them again on other projects.

Always quick to respond and make the changes necessary. It was a quick and pain free process. Very solution focused.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In my opinion, for this project, no. It was a real pleasure working with the team and we're very excited about he final product.

I’m the partner for a professional services firm that helps customers work with Microsoft technology that revolves around productivity and tools like Office 365. We’re also working with customers implementing their ERP systems.

What challenge were you trying to address with GRSP Tech?

When working with our customers, we split it into the process and implementation/configuration work. Some of the business processes require specific features that aren’t available as part of the initial Microsoft build. We’d use extensions of Microsoft and cloud solutions and APIs to create traditional, custom add-ons and extensions to perform solutions. At the time, this required a lot of technical work from our side. We needed help from other companies to complete the task.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

GRSP Tech completed a lot of the work. A lot of the technical work included Power BI, building data models, and connecting data sources. There are also specific extensions to products like SharePoint and Project Online. We used some of those to extend our project management offerings and solutions, while also creating additional services and features to the business application.

A lot of business cases involve customers wanting a specific intake process with their own external system. Those systems integrate with SharePoint. We need to create the API service layers to build those connections and execute them.

I interacted with a few people, but only receive visibility at a high level.

We were introduced by one of our dev architects. He knew them from a previous experience.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement with GRSP Tech started in November 2017.

We’re happy with GRSP Tech. The type of work we do involves B2B. Our team doesn’t deal a lot with users, quantities, or social media impact. We’re working with the business operational efficiency, but it’s hard to measure some of that. Their quality of engineering is great. Most of their team have degrees in computer science. We get our money’s worth with GRSP Tech.

When it comes to agile solutions, their team is up-to-date. Since they’re aware of all methodologies, sprints, and agile tools, they pick up everything pretty quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their individual talents make them a great team. It multiplies their overall value, amplifying their high-quality work. Their skilled ability allows their team to grow and attract more talent.

Their communication skills could improve, but their programmers are doing well.

Customers should plan a long-term commitment to GRSP Tech. They’re suitable for longer-term engagements and have excellent analytical skills. The team at GRSP Tech will provide more value in the long run for a company as opposed to just helping with one project.

I’m the CEO of OBS.by, a passenger services company. We’re the only company authorized to work with non-government carriers.

What challenge were you trying to address with GRSP Technology?

We needed support in developing a mobile app to monitor ticket sales for clients and dispatchers. We also wanted to implement an online app to display client profiles during calls.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

GRSP technology created a web and a mobile application for iOS and Android using AngularJS and NativeScript to support integration. The team performed front- and backend development, employing Node.js for the backend.

Currently, they’re rewriting our existing applications’ architectures to improve their performances, using React, Node.js, and Goland. We’ve provided some generic wireframes, but their vision is guiding the UI/UX improvements.

We work with about eight people from their team, including a web developer, a mobile developer, two backend developers, a project manager, and a QA tester.
