Already in the first year, we were able to record all students and monitor the trainings. The system is in daily use and the users like it. Every day, nearly 60 flight instructors track the progress records of their students.

Together with Sagar Patel (Project Manager & Co Founder of Groovy Web LLP) we were able to create a great web-based tool for our flight school. The absolutely stable system is convincing and meets exactly the requirements we have set. We use this system to be able to show the evidence to our swiss authority (Federal Office of Civil Aviation). So far, the project has been successful. Groovy is a committed partner, dedicated to learning more about the industry and delivering a top-notch product. Following an agile development structure, they’re flexible and organised.

The contact runs directly with the project manager, who immediately implements suggestions and ideas and always pushes and improves the project on his own initiative.

Thanks to the electronic support of this project, the administrative work of the flight instructor is noticeably reduced and he can devote more time to the practical training of the student.

I had contemplated and devised a large project of utmost complexity consisting of android and ios apps for both clients and service providers along with their backend.

The project serves as a gap bridge between clients and service providers connecting them with each other depending upon the services required, such as cleaning services, plumbing services, electrical services, in addition to other services.

We hired Groovy Web LLP for the complete development and deployment of the project. The project was just an idea, and it started to grow in our minds. When we shared the idea with them they were kind enough to help us build over it. Their guidance and experience helped us into making this a reality. The code they wrote was both smart and efficient. We have developed the platform on MEAN stack and are loving the quality of the web application.

We wanted a sleek and robust platform for our customers. And that is exactly what we got. Our goal was to make a simple and to the point application that does the job for our clients. Groovy Web LLP owing to their vase experience truly saw the innovation and they were upto the mark. They developed excellent pages with lightboxes and instant submissions where the user does not have to go to another page to retrieve the data, everything was done on the same page using the MEAN stack coding.

We posted the job online and we got qoutes from quite alot of companies. We finalized 2 of them one of them was Groovy Web LLP. But in the event we decided to go with Groovy Web LLP cause they were only ones who truly owned the project. They were always there to guide us in the process, they were outstanding when it came to follow ups and meetings. So they were the clear choice in the end.

Groovy Web LLP was in charge of the complete design, development and deployment. The complete project was coded ground up in the MEAN stack. The first phase was that they shared the DB schema which was spot on. Then the logic and then the front end. The complete process followed with constant meeting every week and the complete sprints were spot on. Every time they were there for us and they made sure that every timeline was met. Their QA, and testing was also very comprehensive and they made sure that they had delivered the right product. The bugs and issues pointed from our side were resolved almost instantly and overall Groovy Web LLP was able to deliver a remarkable product

Groovy Web LLP appointed a team of 4-5 people with Mr. Sagar as the project manager, who was very professional and efficient in his work. We loved working with him and owing to his commitment we have surely decided they Groovy Web LLP will be our IT partners for an indefinite period. All our future products and developments will go through them and will surely cherish this relationship.

Right now the project is close to its launch and we are done from our end. Groovy Web LLP has also made sure that it wont give us any surprises in the launch phase. Groovy Web LLP will be with us during the launch they have given us a maintenance period along with this project and we hope that as project they stick with us in the same way as they were with us in the development phase.

The complete project was managed on trello. And it was managed very efficiently. The meetings took place on skype using regular screen shares and demos. There was a WhatsApp group as well that helped us in instant communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I think their level of professionalism and sense of ownership in the project are most impressive. Whenever we wanted to add or edit something they were always there for us, rather they would on their suggest something better, if it that took more development time. They would do that in the same cost. All their meeting and deadlines were on time and i cant recall that a single dead line was missed.

I think for this project we really dont have anything to point out. We loved the working relationship and we honestly think that we have a long to go with them in the future...

Our business model is helping people lose weight and then making these people become mentor under us to help others. The end goal is to build the team under us similar to any MLM business.

The mentor needs to follow up with clients doing the program daily to check their progress and act in case of no weight loss or other concerns. The main problem faced by the Mentor is that they busy generating new leads. This results in they have less time to respond to active clients in a timely manner.

Moreover, there are multiple channels for communication - Facebook messenger, WhatsApp and SMS that leads to disconnected communication and things are lost in the complexity.

The project was to build a mobile native app to provide collaboration between Mentor and Mentee. It needs to leverage automation to help mentor on periodic and repetitive tasks.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Initially, we faced a challenge like any other projects but once the process was set, the journey was very smooth. Requirement with references really helped their team. We also ensure to understand that they are overseas and were always available for queries.

We followed the design phase first with clickable UX to ensure we all are aligned. We used Whatsapp and Skype for communication with a regular product demonstration. We leveraged Trello for the issue and requirement tracking that was really helpful. I think respect for each other and outcome focus helped the success of the project

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was impressed by their director's technical skill followed by their commitment to making us successful. They went the extra mile to help us and always advised us whenever the project deviated.

Are there any areas for improvement?

“No matter how much experience you have, there’s always something new you can learn and room for improvement.”

The area of improvement is to give the client enough advance notice on expectation from them. Better define a process which has each milestone with deliverable required from them and client. This will provide client time to arrange stuff way ahead and reduce unnecessary pressure

The product is finished at this point, but Groovy The Web Firm is still testing small aspects of it. Our users have been very pleased with the app. People who have used it so far have said it’s fast and smooth.
