I'm the owner of Canavan Associates. We offer services such as planning & development, wind & renewable energy, architecture and environmental assessments.

For what projects/services did your company hire Grofuse Digital?

We hired the agency to consult on our digital strategy, restructure our Google ads campaigns, improve our digital presence and optimise our website for SEO.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The agency was recommended by numerous sources and is well-known locally. I have family and friends that have used their services and from witnessing their no-nonsense service and impressive results first hand, we chose Grofuse.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Grofuse first did an audit of our PPC campaigns. Looking at our Google Ads account and identifying any gaps in our strategy. From there, they put together a comprehensive digital strategy for our marketing team to use.

They identified effective keyword to bid for, put together copy and guidelines for our ads and recommended clear call to actions on our landing pages. We also saw a huge uptick in organic traffic with expert, ongoing advise from Denis on how to optimise our content and their team working on technical SEO - this then significantly reduced costs on paid advertising, although the conversion rates from this has significantly improved.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with Denis for SEO, Ian for content and liaised with a number of other friendly staff via email.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

By targeting keyword we improved our brand awareness locally and improved lead generation by 40%. Our rankings on the search engine results pages also climbed to the first page for many desirable terms.

Excellent, I could not fault the communication and 'can-do' attitude.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their cost-efficient strategy and friendly approach were remarkable. We considered multiple agencies before coming to a decision and found that Grofuse had the most services and resources to offer for our budget.

No, our experience with Grofuse was great and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

I run a family owned Boutique Hostel in Donegal. I am the manager and run the business. We have a very flat structured organization so being the manager incorporates many roles.

We worked with them for our SEO strategy. We wanted to rank organically for keywords such as Donegal Accommodation and Pet friendly accommodation. With a limited budget it was important to us to enhance our SEO in order to drive traffic to our website organically.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was an attendee at a workshop hosted by Denis which was very insightful. He really knew what he was talking about and I was confident that he could assist us with our SEO strategy.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

Firstly we had a site audit which evidenced lots of room for improvement. Denis recommended improvements to make and gave us the option of GroFuse doing the more technical work and we could do easier tasks.

This worked for us as we had a limited budget. We worked together to enhance the website and optimized our Google My Business page too for local SEO. We were very happy with the flexible approach as we are a small business, we appreciated this.

Two people from Grofuse worked with us. Firstly Denis the director worked with us as he is the SEO specialist. Caroline was our account manager who liaised with us, kept us up to date on the project and provided us with reports detailing our ROI.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since working with Grofuse in enhancing our SEO we have definitely seen an increase in direct bookings and particularly an increase in pet owners staying with their dogs.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They were very transparent and let us know the key milestones that we would work toward. I was consulted at every point of the process and felt very involved the entire way through which I particularly liked.

Communication was excellent the entire way through and I liked that we had an account manager (Caroline) who we would liaise with when we had any queries. We communicated via email mostly as this is my preferred method of communication. Although initially we met in person to discuss the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of technical ability in SEO. They were professional at all times but remained so friendly. They exceeded our expectations and still to this day we are so grateful for the work that they did for us.

They not only assisted us with SEO they taught us the basics so that we could maintain it ourselves if we wished. This suited us due to our small budget.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of.
