I'm the manager of a small company dealing in pediatric sleep consulting. We’re located in Bulgaria.

What challenge were you trying to address with Gopchi?

We needed to develop a mobile application for baby sleep because this solution was completely missing in our country.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially approached Gopchi to discuss the opportunity. We started from scratch, but we used our previous application as an example of what we did and didn’t want. We also described the final product and functionality.

The application is in our local language, not in English. It mainly provides information to the end user; it’s like a vast library of articles, videos, and infographics. The content is in different categories and ordered to make it easy to search. We have a free version that allows access only to the part of the articles and subscription plans to receive full access to the content.

What is the team composition?

We mainly work with their manager.

How did you come to work with Gopchi?

We searched online and reached out to several agencies. We went with the cheapest one, but the final product was a disaster, so we approached Gopchi.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement started around April 2022, and it's still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The final product exceeded our expectations. It turned out better than what we’d imagined. In the first month, we had about 1,000 registrations, which is good considering we didn’t advertise it significantly. 

We had some minor bugs in the first couple of days, but they removed them quickly.

How did Gopchi perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. They manage our expectations pretty well. We’ve had some delays, but those have been because we’re not always able to provide information on time. We’ve also added more things to the scope. Otherwise, Gopchi has been swift in their work.

In addition, communicating with them is easy. We use Notion for project management and Viber for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They make excellent suggestions and don’t wait for us to tell them what we want.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve done everything we expected.

Any advice for potential customers?

I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

I found Gopchi after a very negative experience with other developers. They've started from scratch and ended up creating a much more beautiful and better functioning mobile app.

I chose them for their communication, friendliness and positive approach

They built a mobile app from scratch, arranged everything for me - servers, hostings, admin panel, the programming and maintenance. They have now also supported in setting up my new website. we are constantly working on developing and adding new features to the app

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app was launched within 3 months of the start of the project. Just 5 months later I have 2000 downloads and very positive customer feedback

They kept me regularly informed on the progress, sent me constantly video screen recordings so i could see how the app was coming along and discuss any design changes if necessary

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their desire to make it good. I would tell them what I want and they would advice me the best way, or recommend a different solution that would work better. I found their counselling very helpful, and as a non-it person myself I really needed their advice on certain features

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

May be it would be good if I met more people from the team in case my main point of contact was unavailable/holiday/sick, etc

I hired Gopchi company for the creation of my mobile app so we can share our recipes and meal plans easier with people online.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The vendor was suggested and recommended by a friend of mine. She is also owner of a company and hired Gopchi for creating their mobile app.

We had a very pleasant and beneficial meeting online to discuss my ideas and my goals and objectives. From there the team delivered a very exclusive offer and suggested many amazing ideas and I was more than happy to start working with Gopchi as soon as possible!

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The person I was in touch trough the whole process was the founder of the company George. He was really helpful and friendly during the whole process and I was very happy to communicate and work with him.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It is still pretty early to give such feedback, but for a 1-week old project, I can tell, the results are pretty pleasant.

We had weekly meetings with the owner George, who communicated with the rest of the team. If there were any delays they let us know ahead of time, so that we could prepare.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They created an amazing functioning and perfect looking mobile app, that corespondents with my brand and vision 100%. Everyone loves it, and so do I, and I cannot recommend Gopchi enough!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we first launched, there were some minor bugs on the login and subscribing form, but I let them know and they were very quick to fix all the issues. Also, they didn't charge for that for the first month which I find right and very generous.
