The basis of the project was the programming of the presentation page of the www.kupeledudince.sk website, where Goodrequest based on the supplied wireframes.

In addition to a detailed analysis of our needs and design solutions, Goodrequest also did a graphic redesign of the site to make the new site modern and eye-catching. 

In addition, they prepared the integration with the booking engine, for which they prepared a detailed analysis and specification. In addition, they prepared the environment for email automation.

The project is still in the process of implementation, but we hope to increase sales, simplify the ordering process, increase traffic and raise awareness among the target group.

GoodRequest was engaged by Aivodot to develop and publicly release a website and web application optimized for both PC and tablet use. The target audience for these deliverables was the mass retail market, necessitating a fast, visually appealing, and user-friendly application. The comprehensive project included initial prototyping, detailed workshops, interactive features development, and synchronization with external data providers.

The project began with detailed workshops involving specialists from Aivodot and GoodRequest, covering UX, UI, backend development, and product management. These workshops led to the development of prototypes in Figma from scratch, resulting in a clickable prototype that served as the foundation for the development phase.

During the development phase, the team focused on creating an interactive investment portfolio view, implementing advanced filtering options for navigating a large investment universe, and developing a library of educational content. They also created an investor personalization dashboard, allowing users to reconfigure their profiles and recalibrate analytics. 
The UI designs provided by an external company were integrated to ensure brand consistency with Aivodot's assets. Additionally, seamless synchronization with external data providers was achieved via APIs.

Key deliverables included the Public Application, Aivodot Application for Registered Users, Admin Interface, Strapi API, Aivodot API, Database Management, and a Caching Layer. The Public Application featured a static landing page, public blog section, and an admin interface for blog and knowledge hub content management, built using React (Next.js) and Strapi.js. 
The Aivodot Application for Registered Users offered an interactive and personalized user experience, developed with React (SPA). The Admin Interface allowed for managing content and information relevant to the Aivodot application, also using React (SPA). 
The Strapi API provided content for the Public Application and Knowledge Hub section of the Aivodot Application, utilizing Node.js. The Aivodot API, developed with Node.js (Express.js), handled data synchronization between FactSet and the Aivodot database. Data management was supported by PostgreSQL databases, while performance was enhanced with a Redis caching layer.

This structured and collaborative approach ensured that Aivodot received a robust, scalable, and user-centric web application, aligning with their brand and business objectives.

These delays were primarily due to the nature of building a complex application from scratch while accommodating the evolving ideas of Aivodot. The dynamic nature of the project required adjustments and refinements, which inevitably impacted the timeline.

However, GoodRequest maintained clear and transparent communication throughout the process. Every delay was promptly communicated and thoroughly explained, ensuring that we were always informed about the project's status and the reasons behind any changes. They were responsive to our needs and adaptable to our evolving requirements. This was crucial for the project's success.

While the project did experience some delays, the open communication and responsiveness of GoodRequest ensured that these challenges were managed effectively, and the final product met our expectations.

Overall, we were very satisfied with GoodRequest's work. However, there are a couple of minor areas where they could improve. First, while the project management was generally effective, some enhancements in managing timelines could be beneficial. More proactive timeline management might help mitigate delays, even in dynamic projects like ours. Second, including the client more extensively in the product testing phase could further improve the process. 
This would allow for earlier identification and resolution of potential issues, ensuring an even smoother final deployment. These are small suggestions for improvement in an otherwise highly successful collaboration.

I really liked the detailed specification they provided at the beginning of the project based on our requirements. We were able to think about the edge cases before the implementation even started. At the same time, they approach were very agile and if we decided to change some requirements in the later phases of the project, it was never a problem.

After a series of discovery meetings to discuss our possibilities and goals, we received a plan on how to go through the whole process of redesign. Subsequently, we started working on the design modification, which we took over from the already redesigned website of the Czech Forbes. We continued to design the various pages and sections of our website.

In addition, we received tips from GoodRequest on how to make the most of the potential we have.

We worked with them in several groups. The first meetings we got over with the head of design and the main designer. Subsequently, we started working with our project manager, several designers and UX researcher.

We haven't seen any yet, as the site is currently being developed.

We mostly used Slack for communication. When necessary, we scheduled a video call to discuss the current issues and the next steps. Sometimes we had to ask what stage the project was at. We had few problems with deadlines (but there was a problem on our part as well).

I must point out that experienced people worked with us on the project. Their knowledge helped us a lot to steer the project in the right direction. The team is patient and willing in the workflow.

They really care about the final product, such as our new website and apps. And they are really trying to relieve me of hard work...always trying to cooperate with employees in our company, and not always to wait on my decisions. This is sooo important for me.

Few months after launch of our new website, I realized the conversion rate of our landing page etc could have better results. Everything was made like a smooth before...but it could be better if we maybe could connect with the web designer with a different opinion.
