I’m the managing owner of Spotlight Funding, and we offer business consulting services to small business owners so that they could build their business credit.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goodish Agency?

We were doing all of our own advertising efforts on Google, and we needed extra help with maneuvering to social media advertising. As a result, we hired Goodish Agency to help us with our advertising activities geared towards our lead generation activities.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Goodish Agency developed our landing pages and our new site.  We gave them our content, and they looked at what we were doing and took it from there. Additionally, they were able to set up our self-checkout feature with PayPal so that we could take online payments from clients in one aspect of our business.

On our marketing and advertising efforts, the team took us away from Google, and they focused on establishing our social media marketing presence. At first, they worked on our Facebook. After that, we moved to Instagram and other areas of that.

Goodish Agency continues to handle and monitor our social media marketing activities. On top of that, they create new audiences for us, and they manage all of our website integrations. Moreover, they oversee our lead generation integrations from our website to our CRM and marketing platforms such as Constant Contact and Twilio.

What is the team composition?

Franci (Co-Founder) is our go-to person and Matevž (Co-Founder & Brand Strategist) is one of the people that pushes the buttons to ensure that the landing pages in the website are working properly.

How did you come to work with Goodish Agency?

We were working with another marketing firm here in the US and they were using Goodish Agency. When our former marketing firm decided to do something else, we no longer had a marketing company so they told us to go straight to Franci. Overall, we didn’t have to search high and low to find Franci.

We’ve spent $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in November 2017, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve raised the ROI of all of our products and services, and they do a really good job of following up and ensuring that everything’s running smoothly. They know how to get things up and running, too. More importantly, they always find creative ways to develop new ads for us.

How did Goodish Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always responsive and quick if we need anything from them. We communicate at least once a week and our time zone difference has never been a challenge in our partnership. In fact, they present charts, spreadsheets, and other documents to show their progress — and looking at their work visually has been helpful in identifying what’s really happening in the engagement.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Goodish Agency is very professional and kind. They’re also delightful to work with. Above all, they’re very knowledgeable and experienced at what they do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could live a little closer so that I could take them out to dinner.

You can’t go wrong if you work with Goodish Agency. Follow their lead, and give them as much information about your company and anything that you’ve done in the past — it doesn't matter if those strategies were effective or not. In doing so, you’ll help them create something that works well for your company.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a marketing specialist for a company that offers CBD cosmetic and and CBD drops internationally. We are experts in transformational skincare and passionate about bringing the extraordinary skincare benefits of hemp to people across the world. We grow our own hemp, organically and naturally, here in Slovenia, our beautiful and unspoilt Mediterranean home, where we also source many other ingredients that go into our award-winning products."

To conduct market research and research among our customers.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to conduct market research to determine what our buyer personas are and adjust our marketing approach accordingly.

How did you select Goodish Agency?

We had already worked with Goodish Agency on another project and saw that they were perfect for this one as well. They have quite a long reference list in this field and a great team.

Describe the project in detail.

We began by meeting to discuss and determine the outcome of this project. We researched about our niche, competitors, and our users. We conducted interviews to gather more personal information to determine our target customers. We also made some changes to our marketing strategy and online store.

What was the team composition?

We assigned the project manager on our side who coordinated all tasks with other team members. 4 team members were involved in this project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Better understanding our customers and their needs. We have made some changes to our website and we can see the positive changes in the visitor numbers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication was great and that is one of the main reasons why we work with the Goodish Agency.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were very proactive and gave us a lot of great suggestions.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not for improvement. We can definitely take this to the next level with another project.

I'm the CEO of a boutique video marketing agency called Video Optimize. We create videos and we position them on the front page of Google to help our clients get more customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goodish Agency?

I hired Goodish Agency to help us set up a PPC campaign around Google Analytics and track its metrics. We ended up doing a couple of different projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Goodish Agency started out looking for analysis of the overall account to understand where the standings were at. They created a customized ongoing dashboard for our account, so I could get real-time analytics at any time. I also made a special request for ROI. They managed all the PPC campaigns and gave reports to know how they were working. Finally, we expanded the campaign into a second one for Facebook.

We had one main point of contact.

I found Goodish Agency online. I interviewed about a dozen different people; when I got to their company, it was a hit. I felt they were the right agency because they knew what they were doing.

We spent around $5,000.

The project lasted from January 2020 – January 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We got more than 300 customers as a direct result of Goodish Agency efforts in the campaign, which is quite a bit compared to the usual. I'd say it was close to a 1000% ROI; it was very successful. 

How did Goodish Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated mostly via Skype because we were in different regions of the world, and it was easier to connect. We also communicated through emails.

When we started the project, we shared screens, so I was able to watch along as they performed the different variables involved in the campaign. We spent around 50 hours together on this project, reviewing their work. The Goodish team always showed up every time I needed them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive aspect about Goodish Agency was their specific expertise. One of the aspects that differentiated them from other companies was that they were extremely custom to what I'm doing now. They were able to expand on that and go deeper into the long tail.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything they could improve. Their work was excellent.

Any advice for potential customers?

I would say listen to their recommendations and take action on what they recommend because they work.

Our company is a full-service creative agency. We specialize in branding, creative app and website design, and photography and multimedia. We also provide digital marketing services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goodish Agency?

Oftentimes, a branding client likes the work we’ve done and asks us to do social media, Google Ads, or Facebook Ads management. Our company then uses Goodish Agency services to help with the technical aspects. We’re not as proficient in that respect as they are.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Whether it is an existing or new client that wants us to manage their digital marketing campaigns, we’ll reach out to Goodish Agency. We handle all of the creative ad design, copywriting, and other related work. Their team helps us through all of the technical integrations and implementations, as well as data analysis. 

I generally start the process by explaining to the team what the scope of the project is and ask them for recommendations on various digital marketing platforms for the client. They do market and technical research on how to best optimize our customer’s needs. We then move forward within the client’s budget and approve the scope of work. 

Our agency manages the Facebook Ads, and their team does the audience creation and uploads the ads for us. Then, on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, they help us generate the metric reports through Google Analytics and a variety of different tools.

I work most closely with Franci (Co-Founder). We started working with him when he was just an independent contractor. That relationship carried through when he created Goodish Agency. 

How did you come to work with Goodish Agency?

We found them on Upwork. Our agency tries to stay within its core competencies, which is high-end design. When we get other work opportunities, we try to stay nimble, so we hire people for specific things outside of our organization based on their skillsets.  

How much have you invested with them?

Generally, we spend about $1,500–$2,200 per month. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started around January 2016, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve created a really good partnership with them over the past five years. For example, if we take a Google Ads account from a client that another agency had, we see an ROI that is at least 100% better within 1–2 months. Every single campaign we work with their team on improves all of the digital metrics and KPIs that matter to a client, from revenue to bounce rate and average session duration. 

How did Goodish Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

My organization uses Slack, which integrates with Google Drive and Asana. Goodish Agency has adapted to our workflow. They help us generate the metrics reports through Google Analytics and a variety of different tools on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

What did you find most impressive about them?

A really big plus of working with Goodish Agency is that I learn a lot by working with them. Franci and his team take the time not just to give a report, but also to explain it thoroughly so I can translate the information back to the client in a comfortable way. 

The team is pleasant to work with, and that translates into a good amount of success for our clients, which is the most important thing. They’re also very responsive in case they need to act in an emergency. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

At times, they are too busy. I’ve noticed a few times when their team didn’t necessarily review some deliverables, but that doesn’t happen very often. I’d say they can improve by double-checking everything that they do. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Clear communication is really important because there is a language barrier. Their English is very good, but they’re based in Slovenia, so it’s not their first language. Don’t expect the team to know English idiosyncrasies, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.
