I’m the founder and one of the designers at Hulluh!Designs. We make women’s apparel products, specifically boot covers which are fashion accessories that eliminate the necessity of carrying a purse. These boot covers are built with pockets where people can put their keys, phones, and other valuables.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goldstein Media LLC?

We needed to redo our website. It was something that we’d always been struggling with, so we looked to Goldstein Media for help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

When COVID-19 hit, some of our activities and plans were put on hiatus, so we just focused on the website. Goldstein Media redid the site for us and uploaded new photographs of our product onto it. They also provided SEO, which I got weekly reports on from the team. They worked on the keywords since it was not my area of expertise. 

We’re currently planning for my relaunch and are trying to find a workaround for Facebook and Instagram’s algorithms.

We did a presentation for a company and Seth was in the audience. He also happened to be my neighbor, which was serendipitous. He seemed excited about the product, and we never really had a good marketing person on board, so we decided to give Goldstein Media a shot.

We started working together around April 2020 and the partnership is ongoing.

Goldstein Media has been a great help. They’ve been very patient and easy to work with, which I appreciate more than anything. Seth, in particular, has been flexible and worked with my schedule.

I’m not attuned to our hard metrics but we’ve certainly gotten more traction on our website. The number of visitors has increased.

Goldstein Media is outstanding. We typically communicate over Zoom, especially with the pandemic.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It’s easy to work with their team because they’re able to make quick changes to the website if we request it. They really listen, too. A previous agency we had worked with wanted us to change our product, but Seth was fine with us keeping everything as is.

No, everything is just fine.

Tell the team exactly what your needs are because they are sure to listen and provide you direction.  Especially for someone who's not media-savvy, Goldstein Media is the go-to for ideas.

It was clear that he is sincerely dedicated to his clients.

• Continues to provide advice for drawing traffic to our site

I spoke directly to the owner, Seth Goldstein, for the initial website requests. Later, I worked closely with another employee who developed our LMS. Both corresponded regularly for the latter process.

Our company is at the beginning stage of our online sales initiative, and it is too early to report results. Our product sales timeline is likely to begin in September.

Seth (Principal Creative Director) developed a WordPress website for me. He also performed some local page SEO and keywords. On the website, he made it possible for me to have a blog. He also maintains the site, updating it every quarter. The site is also mobile responsive.

I met Seth through a networking group. We got to talking about what he does, and then he showed me examples of his work. After that, we decided to hire him.

For the website, it was around $4,000. Each month, we have an $80 maintenance fee.

We started working together in early 2010. The site was completed within that year, but Seth continues providing maintenance for us.

We use Google Analytics to track progress. When people call into our office for quotes, we do ask them where they heard of us. A lot of people say through our site or Google. We also receive direct quotes from our site. Their work has definitely been effective for our business.

They do a great job. When I need something, I just email Seth, and he takes care of what I need.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Seth gets right to it. Yesterday, we were updating the fall section of our site. After I sent him what I wanted, he put it up on the website within 30 minutes. He’s very responsive.

I don’t know. He does everything I would expect out of a web designer.

Got up close and personal with the company to need principals and understand the business. GMj associates critiqued the media currently in use. They submitted a proposal to identify what they determined to be critical steps to upgrade our positioning.

After review and discussions, the GM plan was initiated. Proposals were presented, discussed, revised, reviewed again...and again to make certain all copy was crystallized and clearly defined; final copy addressed the potential needs of our potential market and created a clear and common message through all forums.
