Goldfish Code provided comprehensive services for MULLIE Golf, focusing on UI/UX design, mobile app development, and backend development. They created the first iOS and Android community marketplace tailored for golfers, vendors, and private consumers. The platform enables users to buy and sell items, interact with and follow other members, and share user-generated content. Transactions are conducted directly between parties, with a fee allocated to MULLIE Golf. The technical implementation utilized technologies such as React Native, Python, Django, AWS EC2, and AWS RDS. Additionally, third-party integrations included services like Twilio, SendGrid, PayPal, Facebook, USPS, and FedEx.

TIming and budget.

Eva was our main point person and I cannot say enough good things about her, her communication and overall professionalism.

We were looking for objective and subjective measures of validation from prospective customers. For example, we tracked online signs up and oral statements of interest.

Goldfish was great on this front. All deliverables were provided on time, and we were able to call audibles when necessary.

We've used Goldfish Code for several projects over the last few years. The listed ones were some of the larger tasks/projects. The most involved task was the merger of our Shopify and Recharge payment checkouts for our online store. This involved:

• The merger of two separate checkout processes.
• Upgrading our store theme, and other software without disruption to our existing subscribers with several hundred daily transactions.

The dual checkout merger was completed successfully in line with requirements laid out by Shopify without disruption to our existing customers or daily transactions.

I am an executive at my app company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Goldfish Code, and what were your goals?

I hired Goldfish Code to develop an iOS customizable widget app that I designed. The goal was to create modular widgets that will instantly complement the iOS Home Screen and will look great no matter what combination of elements and colors the user chooses.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I searched online for dev shops that can quickly and accurately turn my designs into a functional build. The qualities that I looked for were price transparency, good communication, the ability to build in Swift, and a successful track record.

I already had the app designed. Right after our first call, Bryan and his team instantly broke down the cost of developing my app to a T. We worked in sprints and got a test build on TestFlight in no time. The team was very receptive to all the feedback I've given and also suggests their own which greatly improved the product. The app is built entirely in Swift.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A very attentive project manager is assigned to work on this project with me along with key engineers. Everyone kept me in the loop and quickly addressed all my concerns.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within months of launching the app, it received multiple positive reviews and even got featured in Youtube videos. Everyone loved how easy it was to use and how the widgets can automatically change its looks throughout the day which was one of the hardest features to execute, both development and design-wise.

The project manager was very responsive and would write up documentation for every build that makes it to TestFlight. Tickets were organized in Asana so they were super easy to keep track of and address specific issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think it's rare to find people that are genuinely interested and excited about your project. Many dev shops will want to take on the work but might not actually care about what your product and goals really are. Bryan and his team made it clear that they wanted to take on this project from day one and I was impressed by the homework they've done before even agreeing to work together.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There isn't much to say but if I have to think of one it would be affordability. However, I understand that you get what you pay for and Goldfish Code has a high standard for their services.
