I am the owner and founder of Shaypes Fitness and Wellness Centre. We cater to the customized diets and nutritional requirements of our clients to meet their optimal figure by using the latest techniques in combination with traditional massage therapies.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to make the website more user-friendly and creative in terms of design. We also wanted it to be highly responsive on all mobile devices and tablets to attract and retain customers better.

I’ve gotten awesome feedback from my friends, family, and staff. Everyone is happy with the quality of Goldenmace’s designs. Our clients noticed the upgrade and expressed appreciation for the new site.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was easy. They were always quick to respond to my questions and feedback during the whole design and development lifecycle and provided frequent updates by email. We were also in touch through WhatsApp for quick queries or calls.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Working with their CMO/project coordinator was extremely good. He was very passionate about the website and the work he was doing. The whole team is cooperative, open, and talented. They listened to me and understood my needs.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

There’s nothing for them to improve. They provided top-notch services in a timely manner. Goldenmace just needs to keep up the good work.

I’m the product head of VIBE Smart Homes, which is owned by Vinay Switches, a manufacturer of electronic switches, domestic circuit protection, cables and wires, light fittings, and security solutions. We’ve been in business since 1971 and have a distribution network of more than 7,000 dealers across India.

We needed an end-to-end system through which our mobile app could interact with hardware, cloud software, and our server to issue and receive user commands (e.g., switch lights on/off, pull curtains up/down).

Our smart home solution was supposed to be a complex IoT project. We needed assistance with hardware design, mobile app development, and cloud software development. Goldenmace IT Solutions specifically managed our mobile app, cloud software, and hardware development.

What were your goals for this project?

We had to create mobile apps to control home lighting and other electronic components. This project involved several tasks, including building an Android app, an iOS app, cloud software, and gateway software.

How did you select this vendor?

A close friend of ours recommended Goldenmace IT Solutions after working with them on another project. We wanted a vendor that could commit to a long-term engagement, display dedication, and be trustworthy. Once we met Goldenmace IT Solutions’ CEO, he gave us the confidence to move forward and select them as our vendor.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Goldenmace IT Solutions created a mobile app in Android and in iOS, gateway software, and cloud software. Our requirements were complex and needed to evolve as the development progressed in monthly milestones. After every milestone, we reviewed their progress and tested features prior to giving approval.

What was the team composition?

Four people were part of the primary team: a project manager, Android developer, iOS developer, and web developer. Other members were added and released based on the skills and volume needed. We kept in touch with the project manager constantly and spoke with individual developers when required.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This was one of our most ambitious projects because the smart home concept was relatively new at the time. We had to come up with innovative ideas for development, implementation, and marketing. Now that we have started selling the product, we’ve gotten a great response from our end users. People are loving the solution; it’s definitely increased the value of our product portfolio.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team regularly provided updates. All of the code was updated to the Git repository daily. We did experience some implementation delays due to change requests and bug-fixing cycles, but everything was taken care of eventually.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I appreciated their commitment to the work. If we needed help outside of their office hours, they never refused. Someone from the team was always available when we needed.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

I’d suggest refining their process for handling change requests and bug fixes in order to avoid impacting the development timeline.

Jaysukhbhai J Patel is a manufacturing company. We procure raw material and turn it into finished goods. I’m the head of manufacturing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goldenmace IT Solutions?

All our records were kept in manual systems. We wanted to ease the process of taking daily accounts for the stock flows, as well as the inflow and outflow.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a complete solution for our entire factory system. They developed a software on-ground and were present in our factory. That made them aware of our day-to-day challenges and problems so they could solve our problems quickly.

We broke the project down in three parts. First, they worked on the processing department, involving mechanisms to keep daily stocks and track the inflows and outflows of each stock. That phase lasted three months and was completed on time. The second phase was the final processing of the goods. That took five months and they finished a month before the expected deadline. The final stage was the valuation department, which took a month.

The system was customized according to our requirements, using PHP for the development. They now provide us support, updates, or to fix any minor bugs or improvements.

We had one developer and a project manager. It was led by Hetul [Founder & Director, Goldenmace IT Solutions] and he was present throughout the project. He had a supporting developer.

They were recommended to us by an industry peer who had worked with them. Hetul gave us a brief overview of the possibilities we had and the challenges we’d face. He briefed us about every aspect of the project.

We started working together in March 2013 and the work is ongoing.

We’re happy with the product and work. Whatever we required and whatever problems we faced, it was covered.

They were really helpful. Whenever we had difficulties or challenges, they were available to solve them, and they didn’t put it off. They had a dedicated software developer right on the floor that would do it immediately.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing is their quality. They don’t say no to anything. They were ready to help us solve the problem.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be a little faster during the development phase. They delivered the tasks on time, but they could be even faster.

I am the founder of My Ride. We are developing a mobile application for car enthusiasts that is a social network allowing users to exchange ideas and knowledge through a messaging system, a feed page, and in various communities. We are located in Los Angeles.

What challenge were you trying to address with Goldenmace IT Solutions?

I was looking for a developer to build the platform. I gave Goldenmace a basic plan of how I envisioned the application, and they built it from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Goldenmace asked me a number of questions about the functionalities I wanted, and gave me suggestions of features for me to consider and possibly approve. They’ve been key in a number of decisions since being brought on-board.

We weren’t sure about what type of font the app should have. This was a serious consideration, as the font was to be present on every single screen. We tested 3-4 options, and ultimately chose the font Goldenmace suggested, which is the most commonly-used font on modern applications.

When we needed to create a promotional video for the application, Goldenmace found several people to do the job.

What is the team dynamic?

I was generally given the choice of which team members I wanted to work with. 

How did you come to work with Goldenmace IT Solutions?

I researched and found a site listing various Indian developers. I contacted 200 groups all over the country, and went through a long selection process. I initially chose a different developer, but found that they didn’t have enough experience with social media marketing, so I went to Goldenmace.

The cost of their development work has been $9,500, over multiple payments.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Goldenmace IT in January 2017. The project was completed in June. There was a long wait period for Apple Store approval. We plan to use Goldenmace for additional services in the future.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been okay with the quality of work, price, and delivery timeframe. They are honest and can explain technological terms we don’t understand. They do their job on a good level.

How did Goldenmace IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

There is a time difference between India and the US, so we have had crucial discussions at 2 AM, and both of our teams have worked over the weekend, in order to complete various project aspects as soon as possible. 

I was usually in contact with one of Goldenmace’s representatives, but a lot of the information we discusssed came from the project manager. When it came to testing the first version of the app, they added some programmers to the discussion, so that I could tell them myself more what we wanted to see, and what some of the issues were. 

What did you find most impressive about Goldenmace IT Solutions?

I can’t pinpoint one thing in particular, the entire project was well-delivered. 

Are there any areas Goldenmace IT Soluions could improve?

We had a misunderstanding with the Apple Store and I had to enter the conversation. Goldenmace’s team didn’t initially understand what Apple required in order to approve the application, so I talked to a representative and relayed the information to Goldenmace. It was more of a misunderstanding than a real issue, due to the language barrier. 

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Goldenmace IT Solutions?

When it comes to development, know what you want, and what you hope to get from the developer. It’s important to explain everything in detail and, as long as this is possible, the provider will have the tools they need to deliver.

Right now, we’re 90% finished. I have no metrics as of now.

Their responsiveness to my inquiries is probably the biggest factor.

They have improved. Before, they had some minor customer service issues, but these were addressed.

Darshan [Kalsariya, Business Development Manager] at Goldenmace created the entire website. We worked together with images and content, and he put it all together. He’s building another website for me at the moment. In addition to the new site they’re working on, they provide maintenance for my existing site. I don’t know the technologies used to build the sites.

How did you come to work with Goldenmace?

We connected on Twitter. I liked Darshan a lot. He explained his business to me, and we started talking about other things I do. We worked together in a couple other areas. His personality and work ethic led me to hire Goldenmace.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together almost a year ago, and the relationship is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The website is beautiful, and the feedback has been very positive. It flows very nicely, and people are engaged due to the way he set it up. The website he’s working on now is going to be even more so. I have a few people looking at it now, and they really love how it’s coming together. Some of them are interested in Darshan’s work and may hire him themselves. I found him very easy to work with.

How did Goldenmace perform from a project management standpoint?

Darshan makes himself readily available whenever I need him, even though there’s a 13 ½ hour time difference. We connect on Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and he calls me. I have my graphic design guy working with Darshan on the new site. The time difference is actually a benefit, as he works while I’m sleeping, and I can see the results the next day.

What did you find most impressive about Goldenmace?

He is very kind and patient. He’s very detail-oriented and enthusiastic. He helps me stay on top of my own tasks, reminding me what he’s looking for and the timeline, and I’m grateful for that. Darshan is a phenomenal person. It’s truly amazing to work with him. He’s very easy to work with and doesn’t get upset if I want something changed. Aside from being knowledgeable, he has a quick turnaround time. He’s able to meet my needs.
