Initially, I told GoDigital, Inc. what I wanted; I didn’t want the logo to be basic or over the top. They handled the logo design from there, giving me four options to choose from. The team also designed other creative assets, such as presentation templates, merchandise, and business cards. 

Additionally, GoDigital, Inc. is building my website, and they’ll add animations to it. After they finish development, they’ll offer hosting and maintenance services.

We started working with them around September 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve posted the logo on social media, and everyone has liked it. I recommended GoDigital, Inc. to anyone who wants a logo. 

How did GoDigital, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet deadlines and stay within the budget. We primarily communicate through Upwork and email and use Google Drive to share documents. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Although I only asked for the logo, GoDigital, Inc. has thrown in other design assets, which I appreciate.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wouldn’t have them improve anything; I like everything they’ve done.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communication with GoDigital, Inc. is key. Don’t get upset if you don’t see eye to eye immediately; communicate to get on the same page and move forward.

Our original website was created on the fly, so there wasn't much to see and we needed a new completely redesigned and built.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Upwork ratings were favorable and after speaking with a Victor, I felt it was the right decision.

The key deliverables were completely new designs and a functioning website. This includes: low-fi/high-fi wireframes and design elements, and multiple web pages. Along with this, our brand voice and key brand components were also reconfigured.

A project manager was the main point of contact, I didn't have direct communication with anyone else on the team; my feedback was relayed accordingly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've only done a soft launch of the site thus far while our marketing strategy and funnels are being structured. However, the feedback this far has been stellar.

We used Figma and shared Google docs for general feedback/review. Most communication was via email or thru Upwork messaging portal and was held on an almost daily basis, otherwise it was restricted to only when communications added value to the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their initial price estimates ended up being very accurate and they gave me a solid perspective on project scope. The designs were very thoughtful and unique. The team as a whole, exercised imagination in an impactful manner and were able to demonstrate talent in executing their visions. I didn't just receive a website, I received an entire rebranding and it's turned out to be a very positive surprise.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes, their writing staff needs a lot of improvement - whoever is in charge of writing textual content is lagging far behind the rest of the team basically in every category. In absolute terms, the writing staff is below mediocre. They were lazy and didn't even study the product so the text was completely misaligned in terms of features etc. Thankfully the design and development staff are so good, it's completely worth it!

GoDigital, Inc. helped us with web design and development using WordPress, PHP, and HTML from scratch. We had back and forth communication until they came to me with the final product, which turned out to be a great and fun experience. I asked them to make the platform as simple and clean as possible without extra flares that could add distraction. In addition to that, they implemented Stipe functionalities to the system.

There were two people involved, including Victor (Lead Developer).

I found them through Upwork and decided to reach out to them to describe the site that I wanted to build.

We spent around $7,000 with them.

I’ve shown the product to my family, and they’ve said that it’s easy to use and very straightforward — they’re not tech-savvy and could navigate the site without a problem. I’m also impressed with the work they delivered.

How did GoDigital, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is the best I’ve ever worked with in terms of keeping busy with the project and providing constant communication throughout the process by asking the right questions and answering my inquiries. Overall, it was a great experience working with them, and I’d do it again. 

Regarding communication, we used emails and the Upwork messaging system.

Their constant communication and ability to adapt to our feedback at every step of the process were outstanding.

They added some pictures that I didn’t want on my site, but they removed them as soon as I asked.

We were interested in website development, branding, and logo design. We wanted an interactive website with a chat, widgets, and more.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

GoDigital designed and developed our WordPress website from scratch. They also helped establish the brand identity and assisted with the purchase of the hosting and domain.

Initially, they took it upon themselves to do a bit of research to identify better our clients’ needs. They looked at how to target them and chose the colors and designs based on which would be more likable for our audience. They picked the colors, typography, images, and everything for the website. GoDigital gave us options, and we selected the best fit.

Also, they integrated several emails for applicants’ information and contact. The site was linked with Google Maps for the location.

How did you come to work with GoDigital, Inc.?

I found them on Fiverr. I went to the site to find somebody to assist us with web development. We took a chance with them; we didn’t know what to expect. In the beginning, we had to hand them over login credentials to Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and more business pages. It was a little scary, but we were kept at ease throughout the process, and they informed and updated us about all those things. In the end, we could tell they were working very hard on our project, so we felt comfortable enough to proceed.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2021. We completed the project in a couple of weeks, but our developer is available to make any edits, corrections, or updates.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s been a couple of days since the launch, but we haven’t had any bug reports. On the other hand, several people have commented on different aspects of the website that they’ve enjoyed, such as the WhatsApp link for live chats and the design. Also, we’ve gotten over 50 followers on each social media site within the first couple of days, so we’re getting traction pretty well.

In the future, we’d like to track how many people visit the page, leave a message, book a ride, and more.

How did GoDigital, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They were excellent. GoDigital answered all our questions, told us things we weren’t aware of, and kept in contact with us. Also, they responded quickly and met our requests promptly. They were very professional.

We communicated through the chat on Fiverr.

What did you find most impressive about them?

It was refreshing to work with somebody so knowledgeable and went out of their way to point out things we hadn’t thought about on our own.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t know. We didn’t know what to expect because we didn’t realize all the content and decision-making needed in this type of design. They definitely exceeded our expectations.

Be prepared and know everything that’s needed to go into development. That way, you can customize it more to your liking. We were given options because we didn’t know what was available.

We wanted to fix a problem that seems unsolvable on our existing platform. We'd hired a lot of freelancers and agencies who couldn't fix it, until I saw GoDigital on Facebook and instantly fell in love with their portfolio, so I decided to give them a shot. They easily SOLVED THE UNSOLVABLE (or at least made it look easy), and we've been working on a whole lot of projects ever since then and they've been giving extraordinary results.

They began the project by researching our target audience, and based on what they learned, our target audience is not tech savvy, prompting them to a clean yet beautiful UI/UX design with a simple navigation path and after we approved the design they started the work and they delivered beautifully.

The project was a success. Our website was easily optimized and use, and our clients love it. We've had a lot of success converting prospects. They meet our company's standards, and it's a pleasure to work with them to solve all of the problems on our platform. Their company thinks outside the box, and their creative abilities are exceptional. GoDigital, thank you very much for your excellent work.

The Project Manager was a great guy who was always available to us when we needed him. GoDigital treated our project as if it were their own. The entire team was fantastic, and they were very easy to communicate with. Everything was delivered ahead of schedule.

One of our clients wanted to have an online presence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I needed a developer to build a webshop for them. Our client was well-known in the market, but they couldn’t sell their products physically anymore.

GoDigital, Inc. developed a WordPress website for our client. I gathered the requirements from the client and GoDigital shared some templates and themes to choose from. I gave them some content to implement, and we went back and forth a few times with the client and made some adjustments.

I mainly worked with the CEO. It was a big project for me, and I needed to be the main person on top of it. My staff may have worked with other GoDigital, Inc. members.

We started working with GoDigital, Inc. in July 2020 and the site was done in October 2020. The project is finished, but I’m looking to give them a second one. We have many clients trying to establish an online presence now, after the COVID-19 pandemic.

How did GoDigital, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication was excellent and timely. In fact, GoDigital, Inc. made it obvious how poor our internal communication was. The project was delivered in a short time and any delays providing them the content was from our side. Our teams had a WhatsApp group and we also used email and phone calls to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

GoDigital, Inc. set up milestones and quality standards for themselves and they met those. We were impressed by the first version of the website. There were some adjustments to make, but they delivered a good project. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They sent us WhatsApp messages when there was a delay on our side, but I think they should have called us when something became a blocker. The communication was effective, but they need to be more proactive in getting responses from the client.

Creating a mockup for them will save a lot of time going back and forth.
