I'm the founder of Uplift Her, a women's business that provides conferences, events, and overall women empowerment for women in business. Our company is also faith-based.

What challenge were you trying to address with Gnesist Accounting Firm?

I believe in doing things that I'm good at, and I know that accounting and bookkeeping aren't part of my profession. Therefore, I was looking for help in that regard and came across Gnesist.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started our engagement with a basic package to test Gnesist's services out and see how everything went. Now, their services include accounting, tax preparation, financial planning, business consulting, and even website management.

Their team works with us on a monthly basis to ensure that we're up to date with everything related to our accounting. They also let me know about new or upcoming laws in the financial and tax sectors — they're very good at keeping track of that.

Gnesist has even asked us about our short-term goals and our five-year plans. They've covered different aspects of my business with questions I wouldn't have thought of on my own. The team has asked these questions to see the scope of my future plans so that they can provide exactly what I need to reach my goals.

Every business is different, so what I need might be different from someone else. Still, Gnesist has done their due diligence and figured out my business plans and how they can best serve me.

I've only had contact with two teammates from Gnesist, including the founder, with whom I communicate the most.

How did you come to work with Gnesist Accounting Firm?

I did my own research and found them online. It was very rare that I got so lucky on the first try. There were a lot of different companies out there, but one of the things that caught my eye about Gnesist was their name and their logo. When reading through their packages to see what they offered, I noticed that they offered reasonable and affordable prices, so I went with them.

How much have you invested with them?

Currently, I have a $200-per-month plan with Gnesist.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around January 2024, and our engagement is ongoing. I expect this partnership to continue for a long time.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Gnesist has taken a big load of work from me, allowing me to focus my energy on other things. Their work has exceeded expectations and given me a sense of comfort knowing that I can focus on other areas and not worry about the accounting side.

How did Gnesist Accounting Firm perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been very good with Gnesist thus far. I've been able to reach out to them at any time to discuss any concerns and questions. It doesn't matter what time I reach out to them, it takes them less than 24 hours to get back to me.

As a business owner, I want services to be affordable and convenient, which is the main reason most companies outsource services. Gnesist's services have definitely been affordable. Moreover, they've delivered on time and have been very responsive and great at providing answers. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their perfomance.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

The founder has been very helpful and, overall, amazing. Whatever updates she makes, she always keeps me informed and lets me know what's going on, so I'm never in the blind. Moreover, she's always open to answering questions. If there's something she can't answer immediately, she finds an answer in less than 24 hours and brings it to me. Basically, she's my go-to person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When in business, the most important things for companies are ensuring that they don't have issues with the IRS, paying their taxes on time, keeping their website up and running at all times, establishing a business plan, and keeping up to date with new laws. Gnesist has done all that for me and given me peace of mind.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I've never had an issue with Gnesist, so I can't think of anything they could improve on. I know that there's always room to grow, but I've never had any complaints. I've known about Gnesist since 2023, and all I wish is to have hired them sooner.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Referrals are good, but I recommend doing your own research and seeing what works best for you. Every company is different, so what may work for me might not work for someone else. The good thing about Gnesist is that they'll sit with you and ask you about your goals and plans to better serve you.
