The custom development of an online toy marketplace would involve creating a platform where users can buy, sell, or trade toys while enjoying a seamless user experience. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the key features and components of this platform:

1.User Accounts and Profiles:

• Registration/Login: Users would be able to sign up using their email or social media accounts, or 
• Profile Creation: Each user would have a profile where they can manage their listings

2. Location-Based Search:

• Proximity Filters: Users could filter listings based on distance, helping them find toys close to their location to minimize shipping costs or enable local pickups.3. Advanced Search and Filters:
• Cost and Pricing Filters: Users can filter based on price range, showing only listings within their budgetSort Options: Users could sort toys by newest listings, price (low to high or high to low), popularity, or proximity.

3. Inbuilt 1:1 Chat System:

• Direct Messaging: Users could communicate with each other directly within the platform using a secure, inbuilt chat system. This allows them to discuss product details, negotiate prices, and arrange shipping or meet-ups without needing third-party apps.

4. Transaction Flexibility:

• Cash on Delivery (COD): For local deals, users may choose to complete the transaction in person and exchange the toy for cash.

5. Listing Creation and Management:

• Easy Listing Process: Sellers would be able to upload images, write descriptions, set prices, and categorize their toys quickly.

6. Wishlist and Favorites:

• Users can save listings to a wishlist or mark them as favorites to easily return to them later. 

7. Mobile Optimization/Native App:

• A mobile-optimized website would ensure a smooth user experience across devices.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I had tremendous success with the toy marketplace, thanks in large part to the outstanding development team at Globiz. Their technical expertise and deep understanding of marketplace dynamics were pivotal in building a robust and user-friendly platform that exceeded our expectations.

Through their efforts, we were able to launch oyetoy, a thriving online marketplace that quickly gained traction in the toy-selling community. Globiz worked closely with us to craft a seamless experience for users, allowing them to easily browse toys, filter based on categories, and search for items within their location or budget. The flexible chat system they built allowed users to directly communicate with sellers and buyers, making negotiations and transaction logistics incredibly simple.

This high level of usability played a critical role in growing oyetoy's user base, which rapidly expanded. We reached a substantial number of users  turning oyetoy into a vibrant hub for toy enthusiasts, parents, and collectors alike.
