We are a non-profit foundation focused on culture, heritage, education and international cooperation. OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Ginger IT Solutions to accomplish?

• The goal was to redesign and modernize an outdated cultural portal, improve the way content is organised and presented, and build an easy-to-manage platform where the team could independently publish and update content while improving its visibility and ranking potential on Google.

2-5 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We hired Ginger IT Solutions to redesign our existing website and make it easier for us to manage and update over time.

Because our work covers many cultural, historical and educational topics, we needed a website that could present a large amount of content in a clear way while still keeping the simple, traditional character that fits our organisation. Ginger helped us rethink the structure, navigation and overall presentation, then created the UX/UI design and developed the new website in WordPress.

They also made sure we could easily add and update articles, projects, events, publications and other materials ourselves. They handled the responsive development, technical setup, basic SEO optimisation, testing and launch.

What was especially useful for us was that they could also provide hosting and ongoing website maintenance at a very reasonable cost. We decided to move the website to their hosting as well, so now they take care of the technical side, maintenance and website stability, while we can simply focus on publishing and updating our content.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The biggest improvement is how much easier the website is to manage and use. We can now publish and update content ourselves without depending on technical support for every change. The website is also more visible in search, easier for visitors to navigate, and much more reliable since Ginger now handles the hosting and maintenance as well.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We communicated mainly with Tomislav, who managed the project and acted as the link between us, our requests, and the rest of the Ginger team. He was always responsive, clear and easy to communicate with, and made sure our feedback was understood and implemented properly.

The whole process was well organized, everything was delivered within the agreed timeline, and we were very satisfied with how smoothly the project was managed from start to finish.

What was your primary form of communication with Ginger IT Solutions?

In-Person Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most was how thoughtfully they approached both sides of the website. They had very good suggestions for how the content should be structured and presented to visitors, but they also paid equal attention to how everything would work for us behind the scenes.

They organized the WordPress administration in a very practical way, so adding and updating content is simple, while the frontend remains clear and intuitive for users. That balance between a good user experience and an easy-to-manage backend was something we really appreciated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ginger IT Solutions could have done differently?

Some of the more technical parts were naturally new to us, so at times we needed things explained in a little more detail. That was more about our own lack of technical knowledge than their communication, and they were always very patient, clear and willing to guide us through everything.

Describe what your company does in a single sentence.

We are a music band focused on creating original music and live performances, with a strong emphasis on creativity, visual identity and building a distinctive connection with our audience.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Ginger IT Solutions to accomplish?

• The main goal was to create a bold, unconventional and visually distinctive website that reflects our band's personality. We wanted something creative, eccentric and memorable, rather than a standard or template-based website.

How many teammates from Ginger IT Solutions were assigned to this project?

2-5 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We contacted Ginger IT Solutions to help us design and develop a new website for our band. We chose them because of the creativity we had seen in their previous work. Since we are a band with a very specific identity, we did not want a standard corporate website. We wanted something original, bold and visually memorable.

From the first meeting, the Ginger team understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. They approached the project creatively and gave us plenty of room to express our ideas, while also making sure that the website remained intuitive and easy for visitors to use.

The design was created in Figma, and we were also provided with a working prototype, which was especially useful because we could see how the interactions and overall experience would feel before development started. Ginger also helped us structure and prepare the website content, including recommendations on what information and sections should be included. They worked on optimising the content for Google, local search and AI-powered search, while also handling the technical and on-page SEO setup.

The website was then custom developed in WordPress, with a unique theme created specifically for us. One of our important requirements was to be able to manage the website ourselves after launch, so they made the CMS very easy to use. They also provided training and tutorials and showed us exactly how to update existing content and add new content when needed.

Before the website project, Ginger had already worked with us on our complete branding, including our logo, T-shirts and other graphic design materials, so they already had a strong understanding of our visual identity.

We are now planning to continue working with them on the next phase of our digital presence, including SEO, GEO, social media and broader digital marketing activities.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All of us in the band are genuinely happy with the website and proud of how it represents us. One of the best outcomes has been the feedback from our audience. We have received a lot of positive comments, especially from people saying that the website really feels like us and reflects our style and personality.

It is also very easy for us to manage. We can update existing content and add new things ourselves without having to contact the agency every time, which was important to us.

Most importantly, the website is also bringing real business value. Venue owners and event organisers are finding us through organic search and AI search, visiting the website and contacting us directly about booking live performances. That has helped us generate new opportunities and directly contributes to the band’s revenue.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Their project management was excellent throughout the entire process. Communication was fast and clear, and they were very responsive whenever we had a question, request or change. We never felt like we were waiting for feedback or wondering what the next step was.

What we especially appreciated was that they did not simply agree with everything we suggested. If they felt that something would not work well from a UX, SEO or usability perspective, they explained why and suggested a better solution. They were very proactive in guiding us on what would be best for the website, while still respecting that the final decision was ours.

The design process was very fast, and they reacted quickly to all of our feedback and revisions. The same was true during development.

The entire website was completed in less than a month, fully within the timeline we had agreed on at the beginning of the project. Everything was delivered on time, and the whole process felt very organised, efficient and easy from our side.

What was your primary form of communication with Ginger IT Solutions?

• In-Person Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most was how easy they made the entire process feel. You can immediately tell that they have a lot of experience and know exactly what they are doing. They guided us quickly and precisely in the right direction, communicated clearly throughout the project, and always seemed to be one step ahead in anticipating what was needed.

They are creative, experienced, reliable and very easy to work with. Communication was always fast and clear, they understood what we wanted, guided us when needed and delivered a result we are genuinely happy with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ginger IT Solutions could have done differently?

There is nothing significant we would change. If anything, with more time we probably would have enjoyed exploring even more creative ideas and variations together, simply because that part of the process was so enjoyable. Overall, the collaboration went very smoothly and we were very happy with both the process and the final result.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the digital marketing director of a pharmaceutical company. We distribute supplements and medicines in Serbia from large companies in Italy and Switzerland.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ginger IT Solutions?

We initially hired Ginger IT Solutions for SEO and email marketing. Later, we decided to redesign our e-commerce website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ginger IT Solutions provides SEO and copywriting services. They have also helped us with our email marketing campaigns. The team has also developed and designed a custom Laravel e-commerce website from scratch. The website includes third-party tools and automation of the entire internal shop and financial systems. The team has also created a product information management system, shipping, and logistics invoicing. Ginger IT Solutions has modernized the website's look and feel.

The team is also responsible for maintaining the website and helping us with technical SEO, analytics, and Google Tag Manager. Whenever we need changes on the website, they’re always available.

What is the team composition?

We work with 4–5 teammates from Ginger IT Solutions, including their CEO, Srdjan; a designer, Kristina; a developer, Jovan; a sales manager and project manager, and Stevan, our technical SEO specialist in charge of all the technical stuff. We communicate primarily with Srdjan.

How did you come to work with Ginger IT Solutions?

We were very happy with the services provided by our previous agency, so when they established Ginger IT Solutions, we switched to them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $150,000–$190,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2024, and the engagement is ongoing. We have a contract with no end.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen continuous growth in our SEO results. We've seen results only in Serbian because that's our website's language. The website has great speed and UX. We’re also ranking for a lot of keywords and have seen a continued growth of organic traffic. We've stopped our email marketing campaigns because they weren't successful.

How did Ginger IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet deadlines and stay on budget. We use ClickUp and GitHub for project management. We communicate via email, phone calls, Discord, Viber, and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ginger IT Solutions is always available, and the staff are great experts. We've had no troubles working with them. Ginger IT Solutions is a true partner, and we're happy working with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them honest and constant feedback. Whenever we've had struggles during the project, it’s been because of the lack of feedback. Be connected with them and proactive. The team is consistently available and sends emails to check if everything is good. Communication is the most important thing.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO of Mikroparfem, a perfume company. We have a huge collection of perfumes and are influencers. We share our collection with our followers through decants of perfumes. We put the perfumes into smaller bottles with our design and sell them through our website.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ginger IT Solutions?

We wanted to create a website that was more than just a simple web shop. We needed a full circle and a complete set of services to establish our company and ensure it worked smoothly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ginger IT Solutions has designed and developed our website. We wanted something easy for our customers to use. People in Serbia aren't used to buying online, so we've had to work through a lot of challenges to make the website easy and practical to use. We also wanted it to contain all the information it was supposed to include while being aesthetically pleasing.

We've taken a minimalist direction to create a website where customers can feel safe while buying. We're very open and transparent. Customers can choose whatever perfume they want and purchase it. We only offer pay on delivery, so the website doesn't support credit card payments.

The user can see our brand description in one sentence on the first page. Then they can scroll, see a picture of me and my husband as the founders, as if we were talking to them. We have a best-seller section where we recommend some perfumes to buy. In the footer, there is just some regular information.

There are product pages with women's, men's, and unisex sections. We also have an "About us" page. The team is creating and writing a blog for us. Customers choose the perfume and size, type in shipping information, and pay on delivery. Ginger IT Solutions has included post office information so users can calculate shipping prices.

We've provided Ginger IT Solutions with documentation and an example of a startup website we wanted to be similar to. The team has also provided content writing services. The website is built on WordPress. Ginger IT Solutions also provides maintenance services.

What is the team composition?

We work with Tomislav, our project manager; Srdjan, our main developer; Stevan, who's also a developer and knows a lot about marketing; and Željka, who manages the complete marketing.

How did you come to work with Ginger IT Solutions?

We collaborated successfully with Ginger IT Solutions on a previous website. It was natural to hire them again for this website. Ginger IT Solutions has also created other sites for our family businesses, and other family members recommended the team.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $12,000–$13,000 so far. We'll continue to pay a monthly fee of about $1,000 for maintenance and marketing.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've received positive feedback from our users, who regard the site as the best of its kind. Usually, businesses that do decants create a straightforward web shop without background information, and there's no transparency.

Collaborating with Ginger IT Solutions, we've made the website transparent, practical, and easy to use. It also contains a lot of background information. We've creatively presented the perfumes. People are impressed by the website, and our sales are going well.

How did Ginger IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Ginger IT Solutions meets deadlines and stays on budget. We usually communicate via WhatsApp and phone calls. Whenever we need them, even if it's urgent or a holiday, they're always there to complete the tasks we ask of them, even after work hours.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ginger IT Solutions' communication is impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren't any, which is a good sign.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be precise about your wants, and let Ginger IT Solutions give you ideas and feedback. Sometimes, the team will recommend you do something else because of their experience, as it happened to us. Listen to them because that might be the better solution.

I don’t think there’s any need for improvement. However, it would be great if we had in-person meetings from time to time.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be precise because you'll be losing time if you don't provide precise information.

We've measured their success based on the finalized designs, development of the e-commerce platform, and extensions going live. Some of the products they’ve developed are live, while others are still in the design and development stages, and everything is going great.

We also take into account the smooth usage of the platform by our users and our growth. The latter is why we've chosen to expand our engagement with Ginger IT Solutions. The team has been awesome; they’re the best company we’ve ever dealt with. We plan to engage Ginger IT Solutions for all our design, development, and marketing needs.

How did Ginger IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re responsive, and we communicate via phone calls, video calls, and in-person meetings in our office.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to give a shout-out to our main point of contact, who has been wonderful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Although Ginger IT Solutions is fairly new, they’ve showcased business maturity. The team is professional and understands their clients. They’ve guided us through their process and shown flexibility when we needed it. They’re genuinely interested in our platform and its growth.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they can improve on — they've been great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come prepared and give Ginger IT Solutions as much information as possible about your requirements. This will make the process smoother. Additionally, think carefully about your feedback. Present them with various options with pros and cons, which will give you a chance to make an informed executive decision.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the CEO and director of a private specialized clinic.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ginger IT Solutions?

We engaged Ginger IT Solutions to build a website for our clinic from scratch.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ginger IT Solutions guided us through the different phases of the project. The team asked the right questions so we could define what we were looking for, including the design and content. We also told Ginger IT Solutions what we expected the website to look like and the functionalities we wanted to achieve.

From there, Ginger IT Solutions drafted a website map and worked on the design, functionalities, and accessibility tools. The team acted as web developers and UI/UX designers. Ginger IT Solutions also provided advisory services, strategy, and usability testing. The team also did some research because we used WordPress.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Ginger IT Solutions project manager and a team of developers.

How did you come to work with Ginger IT Solutions?

We found Ginger IT Solutions through a word-of-mouth recommendation from someone who had worked with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around €30,000–€35,000 (approximately $33,000–$39,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Ginger IT Solutions from January–May 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I was very happy with the outcome of our project. A couple of patients approached us to ask who created and designed the website. The local directors of another clinic also contacted us because they liked the clean and modern look of our site. We gained more notice in the area, not only from patients and clients but also from our competition.

As soon as we launched the website, the traffic increased significantly. We launched the site two months ago because we were a new business and had to wait for regulatory approvals and inspection to launch the company. The numbers were increasing exponentially from month to month.

How did Ginger IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Ginger IT Solutions was very thorough and communicative. The team kept us informed about the project's development. We communicated via video calls on a regular basis using Google Meet and Zoom. We also used emails and phone calls. We met in person on one occasion, which was fantastic since Ginger IT Solutions was based in a different country.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ginger IT Solutions was one of the best development teams we worked with. We had built 4–5 clinics with different groups of developers, and we were highly impressed with Ginger IT Solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for the team to improve. If we set up a new clinic, I plan to go back to Ginger IT Solutions.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Always follow Ginger IT Solutions' lead and advice because they know what they're doing. The team is up to date with the latest tools and technologies. We took their advice on many matters, and I suggest doing the same.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of web development at a full-service advertising agency. I manage the website development side of the business.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ginger IT Solutions?

We were looking for a team to work on website development projects for our end clients. We developed the site's designs and needed a partner for implementation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Generally, during the design phase of each project, we share design files with Ginger IT Solutions. The team reviews our design files for a couple of days and returns with an estimated time and cost for development. We work with Ginger IT Solutions throughout the development process. Generally, our initial requirements and designs expand or change during the project as we present reviews to the end clients.

Most of our sites use WordPress as the backend CMS and are based on PHP, which is generally hosted on a Linux server. We've also worked on projects that use JavaScript frontends, and Next.js is a specific technology that we've used, too. Overall, Ginger IT Solutions does most work in WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS stylesheets, and Sass. The team also uses a build tool to compile all the JavaScript assets.

What is the team composition?

Our communication is with two primary teammates from Ginger IT Solutions: the head of project management and the head of development. We usually work with a developer too, although we don't interact directly with them. At any given project, we work with around three teammates.

How did you come to work with Ginger IT Solutions?

I met Ginger IT Solutions through a teammate I worked with when he was with a different company. He let me know he had left that firm to start his own company, and I wanted to continue the relationship with him. I contacted Ginger IT Solutions to get an estimate the next time we had a big project that seemed to be bigger than our team could handle.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $20,000–$30,000 per project. Overall, we've spent around $200,000–$250,000 with Ginger IT Solutions since we've worked together.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Ginger IT Solutions in the middle of 2023, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're currently closing a project for an end client in the real estate industry. Initially, the client told us they didn't have a big budget, so we decided to use an off-the-shelf software. However, this tool wasn't customizable to fit the end client's needs, so we called Ginger IT Solutions and told them we had a small budget to do customization work but had a huge need.

Moreover, the tool's developer took our customization requirements and told us the tool couldn't be used that way. When we brought Ginger IT Solutions, the team said it would be tough but thought they could do it. The team was able to appease, so I can't think of a bigger praise for them than the fact that they delivered an inexpensive solution to serve a very prestigious client.

Ginger IT Solutions was willing to take on this project even when the tool's maker didn't think it could be done. Our end client knew we had a good development team and was even more excited after this project.

How did Ginger IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a lot of ongoing correspondence with Ginger IT Solutions throughout each project to follow up on tasks completion they had previously been assigned and to discuss changes in scope priorities or timelines that arise. The development process is super smooth when end clients don't request changes. Usually, we're the ones that have restricting deadlines, and Ginger IT Solutions still delivers on time.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Tomislav (Chief Sales Officer) and Stevan's (CTO) work. Stevan has been amazing, and we've worked on several projects with him. He serves as the head of technology and also rolls up his sleeves to do work.

The team is based in Serbia, and their time zone is around six hours ahead of mine. Still, Stevan is available for us throughout the day, which means he works late hours in his time zone. I've reached out to Stevan with an emergency at 5 p.m. in my time zone, which is probably 11 or 12 p.m. in his, and he has responded. It's super comfortable to work with a teammate who is willing to help since I don't usually get that kind of responsiveness when working with an offshore team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ginger IT Solutions questions our decisions and offers suggestions when we need help to solve problems we didn't anticipate.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is nothing about Ginger IT Solutions' current approach or delivery that I'd ask to be improved. Still, if they could expand their bandwidth down the road, it would be wonderful to use them for multiple projects simultaneously. We keep Ginger IT Solutions busy, and although they've never failed to meet our needs, our company's needs keep increasing as we continue to succeed.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

A lot of firms think it's their responsibility to define requirements on their end when searching for an outsourced partner, throw work over the wall to the developers, and expect them to deliver code. However, usually, the end client's requirements change during the course of the project, so what you want isn't just a robot that is going to do exactly what you tell it to do; you want a team that offers insight and has a strategic mind about what the best solution might be.

My advice is not to treat Ginger IT Solutions as a robot but as a strategic partner and to engage with them early on at the strategic and development levels.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

David Koprenovic: I'm the co-founder and chief sales officer of a startup company.
Sara Erceg: I'm the CEO and co-founder of our company. We're a perfume business that manufactures perfumes in France and imports them to Serbia. We mostly sell our products online, so our website is very important for our company, serving basically as our showroom.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ginger IT Solutions?

DK: We needed an IT services provider for our business. The team has also supported us with brand strategy and web design and development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SE: Ginger IT Solutions has designed and developed our website and online store on WordPress. The team has also been involved in other areas of our company, including product branding, corporate identity, technical SEO, on-site optimization, mobile optimization, brand strategy, and brand messaging. The team is also helping us with marketing.

DK: Ginger IT Solutions has completed our website and continues to offer web maintenance services and support in additional tasks we request. For the branding, we initially gave the team our company name and vision.
SE: The team presented branding options based on our vision. We chose an option, and Ginger IT Solutions proceeded with designing our logo and other materials, requesting our approval.

What is the team composition?

DK: We've worked with 7–8 teammates from Ginger IT Solutions, including a project manager, a tech lead, a branding specialist, and a web designer.
SE: We've also worked with a marketing director, an SEO specialist, a frontend developer, and a backend developer.

How did you come to work with Ginger IT Solutions?

DK: I met teammates from Ginger IT Solutions while working at another business. They then founded Ginger IT Solutions, and I contacted them.
How much have you invested with them?

SE: We've spent around $50,000–$100,000.
DK: We initially paid the team $50,000 but then had additional charges that we agreed on.

What is the status of this engagement?

DK: We started working with Ginger IT Solutions in October 2023, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SE: We launched our website a couple of days ago, and we've already sold our products.
DK: Our web visits are in the thousands, and we've sold hundreds of perfumes.

SE: We're a small company, and these are significant amounts for us and our market. We were looking to work with a team we could rely on, and we've found a partner for life and other businesses in Ginger IT Solutions. We've already recommended the team to colleagues who are about to open their business because the team is a loyal partner we can count on at any time of the day. During the branding process, we approved the majority of designs presented by the team in the first round, and we're a picky team. Ginger IT Solutions has understood our vision and what we wanted.

How did Ginger IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

DK: Ginger IT Solutions meets deadlines.
SE: Our perfume manufacturing took much longer than anticipated, delaying our deadlines. However, the team delivers work ahead of our deadlines and is always on time.
DK: We communicate via email and phone calls.

SE: Our business has just opened, and we request several immediate changes to Ginger IT Solutions. The team is hands-on and available at all times, especially in this initial phase.
DK: For instance, yesterday, we had a situation where we clicked something we shouldn't have in the website's admin section. We called Ginger IT Solutions at 11 p.m., and they resolved the problem in the middle of the night.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

SE: We've had the greatest communication with Tomislav (Chief Sales Officer), Srdjan (Founder & CEO), and Sonja (Co-Founder & CMO).

What did you find most impressive about them?

SE: The Ginger IT Solutions team works amazingly together and complements each other. Every teammate is an expert in what they do and their department. The overall team is very strong and effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

DK: The only improvement area I can think of for Ginger IT Solutions is to expand their team, although I'm aware this is difficult to do.
SE: Ginger IT Solutions is picky with their team because they work with absolute professionals.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

SE: Be clear and specific about your vision and idea. If you provide specific ideas to the team, they can make a great design. You'll probably be dissatisfied if you aren't sure what you want and expect the team to do all the work. I suggest providing thorough explanations to Ginger IT Solutions.
DK: Communicate with the team and be open-minded about their ideas.
