GEM WEB SERVICES built our website, integrated a payment gateway, set up inventory, and integrated shipment and marketing along with social media setup for our business.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After completing our website, GEM WEB SERVICES also started marketing for us, which is still ongoing. We're now getting 20–30 orders every month for the total value of $10,000–$15,000. The e-commerce setup was great, and now we're also using their digital marketing services to promote and set up our online presence.

How did GEM WEB SERVICES perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I would recommend their services to everyone. Their pricing structure is very affordable for e-commerce setup. I was impressed with their cost and deliveries.

Three concepts of website design. Each of the concept should contain at least 2 full desktop screen of the Home page and 1 full Product Page presented in the timely manner.

They have come up with a portfolio that contains similar projects performed for similar products.

Are there any areas for improvement or something GEM WEB SERVICES could have done differently?

We engaged GEM WEB SERVICES to redesign and develop our company website, with an expected delivery timeline of 4–6 weeks as outlined in our signed contract. After paying the initial deposit, we experienced multiple delays on very initial stage with little to no tangible progress on the project. Despite repeated follow-ups and a termination notice sent in writing, GEM WEB SERVICES failed to deliver any usable work product or adhere to the agreed project milestones. We made numerous attempts to rectify the situation and to resolve it in an amicable manner, but without success.

Their last communication was on April 10, 2025, in which they promised an update that never arrived. Since then, our messages have gone unanswered, and our refund request has not been fulfilled. The contract clearly allows termination and refund under such circumstances, and their continued silence demonstrates a lack of professionalism and accountability. Despite multiple requests, they have not responded or refunded the payment, even after we terminated the agreement as per our contract.

We do not recommend GEM WEB SERVICES to other companies seeking reliable and responsive development partners.

We hired GEM WEB SERVICES to redesign our bookkeeping website using Wix.

What was the scope of their involvement?

GEM WEB SERVICES redesigned our bookkeeping website. The new site needed to be professional, clean, and mobile-friendly. We provided them with a homepage mockup style and asked for around five pages: home, about, services, pricing, and contact. The site also needed to be easy to update and SEO-friendly.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

GEM WEB SERVICES agreed to handle everything for £150 (approximately $200). After payment, they claimed that plan “would not work” and pressured me into a £75/month (approximately $100) plan. The work delivered was poor – duplicated text, random stock photos, and missing improvements. I repeatedly requested corrections and a refund, but they failed to respond.
