We set out to build our custom software on Salesforce.

Geeks2Connect came on very early to the project when most of what we had was early wireframes. They were able to understand what we were looking for and built a scope of work.

One of the key challenges we brought to the table was that we didn't want Aryval to look like a Salesforce system, and every element needed to be customly designed.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The current version of Aryval is technically version 1.0, but in reality it is much more developed than that. With it, we have live customers and have already run successful events. The Geeks2Connect team was able to bend Saleforce to their will as there is nothing about Aryval that looks like Salesforce. The design is a 1-to-1 recreation of what our UI designer was able to produce.

Even with the best laid plans, software development can be unpredictable.

While the overall project took quite a bit longer than originally estimated, the additional time was due to the scope of work expanding. Whenever there was a need for a development sprint, Geeks2Connect was able to meet our timelines.

With us located in Canada, we knew there would be challenges with our entire development team being on an opposite timezone to us. Outside of having thoughtful overcommunication each night and multiple standing meetings throughout the week the development went really smoothly. Geeks2Connect even made themselves available in their evening (our afternoon) during any emergencies.

The cooperation started with a project to redesign and rebuild our website. Geeks2Connect also moved our web-based assets to a fast cloud-based server and continues to operate it to this day. They helped us digitize and automate several of our business processes. They introduced digital signatures into our organization, automated workflows that saved substantial manual labor. 

We provide executive coaching services to our multinational corporate clients, where 10-20 coaches work with 50-80 of the client’s employees per project. The Geeks2Connect team developed a web application to streamline the coach selection process. 

The coach profiles and intro videos can be uploaded via a user-friendly web-based interface, and the participants can select their top three coaches in order of preference. The system takes the preferences and the coaches’ capacity into account and does a semi-automatic matching.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All the projects were completed on time and minimal budget overruns. Since the launch in 2018, the website has been stable and fast. (We might not be able to attribute all the sales numbers to the website, but since then our revenue has doubled) 

The business process automation project immediately started saving us 10s of man-hours every week, making it an extremely fast return on investment. The coach selection app received all-round positive feedback from the clients, they praised its effectiveness and the smooth user experience.

They are easy to work with and they are approachable and responsive. In the beginning of a new assignment they start with asking a lot of questions to make sure they understand what we need and what the priorities are. Each and every time they delivered every mission-critical item on time and scheduled the lower priority item for later (typically to after launch).
