I am the owner of a web design and development company started in 2009.

We have been working with Geek Web Solution (GWS) since 2014, before they grew in capacity to the well-rounded firm that they are today. GWS has developed 20+ websites for us as well as a designing a few websites too.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected Geek Web Solution (GWS) for their incredible attention to detail and timely turn around time. I am constantly impressed how well they are able to match a design (Figma, XD, etc.) on the web. Their impeccable development work also comes with a vast knowledge of PHP to incorporate APIs, develop solutions to complex problems and more.

GWS has primarily been hired for Wordpress work although I have from time to time had them do custom HTML for some clients. I will give them a design in Figma or XD and within days, they can have a page completed and responsive. It is truly impressive how quickly they work and still maintain such high standards.

I have worked with Rakesh, one of the owners primarily but have also worked with their designers and SEO staff to complete many projects. Every encounter with a staff member has gone great and all have delivered on every statement given.

Both my clients and I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of the web pages produced. They are always responsive, looking good at every screensize.

Rakesh is a wonderful communicator, always keeping me in the loop with where a project stands daily. He is good about asking questions when things are not clear, rather than making assumptions that could lead to wasted time and money.

I find Rakesh and Geek Web Solution to be incredibly impressive in their deliverables and communication. They produce great websites at an affordable price in a timely fashion. It is rare to find all three of those qualities in a development firm.

Our company is a processing plant of sea urchins and has been in this industry for more than 40years. We offer fresh sea urchins and frozen sushi grade fish to wholesale, restaurant and retail customers in the continental United States. I am a sales manager.

We started a retail business only for our local area with a very simple WordPress website in 2021. A year later, we decided to go nationwide to expand our business. However, after we did some researches, we realized we needed to set new prices and rules for nationwide shipping in order to cover all the extra costs incurred in shipping perishable products via FedEx/UPS.

On the other hand, we still wanted to keep offering our local customers the same prices and rules they have been offered. We hired this team to develop a website that can smoothly lead customers to a right page with all the available products and prices depending on their shipping destinations.

Our general manager knew one of the web designers in this vendor, and we heard about his and his team’s great reputation and their ability to accomplish complicated requests.

We had a website we worked on with our local web designer before this vendor, which didn’t work the way we wanted it to be. We did a kick-off video call meeting to discuss our goal and difficulties we experienced with the previous web designer. The vendor understood the assignments and they made a mock-up with a whole new design in a couple of weeks. From there, we discussed small details step by step and they updated in 1-3 days every time we had any requests.

A project manager and a designer were our main point of contact throughout the process. I didn’t have a chance to get to know how many people were working behind the scenes.

With our old website, we used to get phone calls/emails every day from customers who were not sure how to order or get to a right place on our website. With our new website, orders come in smoothly every day and we don’t get any more phone calls/emails asking for our assistance. Our customers love our new design, and they now have a better understanding of our service.

We created a chat group where we could communicate with a project manager and a designer directly any time of the day. They responded right away every time we contacted them and gave us their idea or updated us on their progress. Their fast responses really sped up the progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team had great coding skills, and they made most of the complicated functions. Thanks to their skills, we didn’t have to purchase additional plug-ins for most of the functions and this made the website speed a lot more faster and also cost effective.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When we first launched, there were some minor bugs on the product settings. We let them know, and they fixed the issues very quickly.
