Overall, we were very satisfied with the results. However, the project requirements could have been more detailed to anticipate some of the challenges we faced during the revision process. This might have reduced the need for multiple edits. Nonetheless, Gapsy handled all the revisions professionally and efficiently.

Strapi is the leading open-source headless CMS. It's 100% Javascript, fully customizable, and developer-first. It enables content-rich experiences to be created, managed, and exposed to any digital device. As a Product Marketing Manager, I am responsible for communicating the value of our product to all target audiences by using the most efficient messaging, content formats, and communication channels.

For what projects/services did your company hire Gapsy Studio, and what were your goals?
Our team is planning to release two major updates soon, and we needed to create video teasers for these features. We had a tight deadline since we needed to announce these features at our annual global user conference. The goal of the videos is to invite people to join the waiting list and get users excited about the upcoming updates.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We checked the portfolio of different teams on websites like Dribbble and Behance, and the Gapsy team's work immediately caught our eye. The Studio responded to our request very quickly, we discussed all the details over a call, there was a good connection as we understood each other well. The team could start to work quickly and meet deadlines, which was a critical factor for us.

First, I sent a project request with a brief and a storyboard. Then we discussed the details during a call with the team to make sure we were on the same page. Once we agreed on the scope, cost, and deadlines, the team provided several audio options for the videos to let me choose one. They gradually shared their progress with me so that they could make adjustments based on my feedback.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
I communicated with one project manager, who then transferred all the information to the design team. It was possible to talk to the designers directly, but there was no need in my case. I had one point of contact, which was very convenient, we didn't have any misunderstandings, and I always knew whom to reach out to.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We showed the videos to our audience during the conference keynote, and everyone was extremely excited about the upcoming features. The videos performed 8 times better than average content on our Youtube.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We communicated mainly by email & calls. The team constantly provided updates on their progress and showed results. We worked on the videos iteratively, which allowed us to make adjustments on the go and save time. The team is very responsive and open to different communication formats.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They understood what result I wanted to see very well. The results they provided corresponded very well to what I had in mind but struggled to express in a brief. Also, I'm impressed by how responsible and resistant the team is. We agreed to start the work on the project on February 22nd. The team is based in Ukraine, and they witnessed the war that began on February 24th. Even in these conditions, they continued to work and delivered everything in time. I'm feeling a lot of gratitude and respect for their work.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I'm very satisfied with the work provided by Gapsy Studio: the result met my expectations, everything was delivered in time, the communication was smooth. Perhaps, in the future, they can try to challenge customers' ideas more - as they have the expertise and experience to do that.
