They have a highly structured approach; we have designated times for speaking and receiving reports. Everything has been set up in advance in terms of communication.

Being more in tune and familiar with the technical aspects of SEO will be helpful in a partnership with Funnel Boost Media. It will also help you better communicate what you need from them.

R1: They focused mostly on the design. We’d been in charge of taking care of our Wix website but wanted something with a more professional, cleaner look, in addition to our SEO rankings increase goal.

R1: We’ve finished the website but haven’t seen the SEO results yet.

R1: We worked together from January 2021–March 2022.

R1: They created a professional and beautiful website, taking a lot of the information from our old website and putting it into a format that works better for us.

The website is on another level. It’s wonderful. Not only did they give us great results on that end, they were amazing to work with. They were amazing to work with, responsive, and gave us anything we needed.

R2: The website just switched over last week from the old solution. One of our concerns was that we would always pop up first when someone Googled “residential windows downtown San Antonio” and now the new website isn’t popping up yet.

R1: Cory spoke to us about this possibility already — expecting this drop — but they’re going to take care of it.

How did Funnel Boost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

R1: I love how they mapped everything out. 30 days after the launch, we’re going to reconvene and go over the SEO results.

R1: While they always responded to me during the working day, I wish they would have given me an update without me reaching out first. I would question where we were in the process and reach out, and then they would respond. Being more proactive in letting the customer know where they are in the process would be an improvement.

R2: The owner is very responsive. We called him on a Friday or Saturday and even though he was out of town he called us back. It’s been a good experience with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

R1: The product stands out. What they gave to us was amazing. It didn’t take long to get it, and they understood what we were going for. After they showed us the mockup, it only took two cycles of revisions for them to deliver. They listened to us, knew what we needed, and made it happen.

Are there any areas they could improve?

R1: The communication was not bad, but a bit more proactivity with updates would have been nice. That’s my only comment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

R1: You should work with them. We chose to meet in-person with them, and that was nice. I’m not sure if that would work for everybody, but it helped us get our needs across immediately. Communicating over the phone or email isn’t always beneficial.

Funnel Boost Media performs exceptionally; I didn’t expect them to work as fast as they do. We communicate via phone calls.

Working with Funnel Boost Media has really paid out so far. I worked with other SEO companies and used lead generation sites, but the clientele I got from there ended up being so unfit for me that I was losing money. Since I decided to invest more with Funnel Boost Media, I’ve been impressed with the results.

Funnel Boost’s project management is one of the smoothest things I’ve ever seen. They deliver on time, and they know what they’re doing.

We’ve met in person at their office, and we’ve also communicated through phone and email. It’s important for me that we’ve got to know each other, and we’ve done that right away. Additionally, I can tell that there’s real unity and cohesiveness in their company. Jacob has done an excellent job assembling a team that reflects his ideas.

Funnel Boost’s attentiveness is impressive. They are notably professional, and they’re excellent listeners — they understand our ideas. They’ve taken the time to know us and comprehend our company’s vision and goals. Their designs have reflected our company’s aspirations — it’s reassuring because they’re actually listening.

I can’t think of anything. My expectations for the project have been high, but they’ve exceeded them.

When we started working with Funnel Boost, they gave me a template for the site’s initial design. However, I didn’t like it, so I started talking to them to describe what I liked and disliked. There was a bit of back and forth between us until I had what I wanted. 

In terms of features and functionality, we wanted the website to convey a good image for the company. They designed our logo and created our services page. They built the website on WordPress.

At present, the website is already launched, and we continue working on it.

We get plenty of compliments from users, who say that the website looks great and they like it. In fact, they describe it as one of the best roofing companies they’ve seen. The designs we’ve worked on together look great. In the end, the project has turned out good; other roofing companies use my website as a good example because of its design. 

How did Funnel Boost Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Funnel Boost’s communication is good. In terms of deadlines, they take a bit too long to deliver. However, that might either be because I’m an impatient person or this process takes time to finish. Either way, they’re a great team. In fact, if I’m going to invest my money on a website all over again — if I’m looking for a professional team that I can trust to do a good job — I’ll definitely hire Funnel Boost again. To communicate, we typically use emails and text messages. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re responsive and patient especially with me; I’m a highly particular person with how I want things done. For instance, I don’t let any marketing or web development company dictate how my website is going to be done. With that in mind, Funnel Boost is highly patient in giving me what I want. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should have someone who can proofread everything before going live. For context, they’ve put content that has grammatical errors. When I proofread it, I find that the content doesn’t make sense. It’s not my job to correct such mistakes, but I do it because they can’t seem to fix these things even after three times of corrections. Simply put, they should be more knowledgeable in terms of grammar. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear idea of what you want, and explore other websites to get ideas, designs, and content. Put everything together and condense it in one idea, and then give it to Funnel Boost. That way, they can come up with the best website possible. They’re going to do a good job, but it’s going to be their way unless you propose how you want to do it.

Our success metrics are based on their accessibility and turnaround times for revisions. Funnel Boost responds to us quickly; if we send them a message via email or text, they get back to us within 1–2 hours. I’ve also had to make a quick phone call to them a couple of times before, and they’ve answered pretty much right away. 

We also check the number of revisions we can make with them. Based on our experience, other companies tend to be — for lack of a better word — lazy after 3–4 revisions. By that time, they aren’t as accommodating as they’ve been in the beginning. Luckily, Funnel Boost doesn’t use that kind of approach; they do whatever we want within a reasonable amount of time.

Their project management has been good. Our communication has been through emails and text messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Funnel Boost team is a master of customer service. Even though we’re not familiar with them, they’ve been able to present themselves clearly. Jacob has articulated well what they do and what they don’t do. He’s also willing to refer us to other people if they can’t do a certain task. In other words, they’re not selfish — we appreciate that.

On top of that, their accessibility and willingness to make their customers happy are highly valuable. Because of that, we’ve referred them to a couple of other businesses. In fact, I've personally referred them to other people in my network. Overall, it’s extremely refreshing to be working with them.

Have as much clarity as possible on what you want to accomplish. That way, Funnel Boost can help you better. If you don’t do that, you’ll be volleying back and forth in a guessing game. This vendor was used in a project for a non profit that I am on the board of directors for. Funnel Boost Media did a fantastic job on the website for that company and we decided to try out their SEO services. Their prices are certainly not the cheapest but they are a fantastic value for the price. Also - Jacob and Cory make themselves very available and we didn't feel like just another number.

SEO began with a baseline analysis of our website and the "foundation" building phase. They have names for everything and took a lot of time to make sure that we fully understood their services and what Local SEO actually meant prior to everything.

We rank in the first position for multiple keywords directly related to our services. We have only been at it a few months but the results of the SEO campaign are palpable.

Very, Very, Very organized. They have timelines and "no later than" dates for everything.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism. One of the owners is a military Veteran and you can feel that in the roots of the company. The team is well organized, professional, and both owners make sure they are leading from the front. I know multiple people who are veterans that I have referred and FBM has done work for free for them. They take great pride in that and in their dealings with the Veteran Community. Many of our clients are military Veterans so it was an easy choice.

I do not believe so.

We haven’t given them all the information they need to complete the web pages, but they've managed to make the most of what they’ve received from us. Overall, they’re a reliable team that delivers the results we need within quick turnaround times.

Funnel Boost Media cares about their craft and our business — that’s well reflected in the results they deliver. They are always willing to provide us with quality services at a fair price, and they adhere to our contract at all times. We’re pleased to be working with a transparent and thoughtful partner.

We’ve once ran into a minor billing problem, but their team has quickly addressed that and worked on refining their billing system to avoid similar occurrences in the future.

Conceptualize the structure of your website ahead of time — this is very important in any development project. Any partner will want to know about your preferences in design and functionality, so you have to be prepared to outline what you want. Additionally, these requirements also help them formulate the initial project cost.
