I'm a technical support training specialist at Hunter Industries, a family-owned manufacturer of best-in-class solutions for the landscape irrigation, outdoor lighting, dispensing technology, and custom manufacturing sectors. We offer thousands of products in over 120 countries.

What challenge were you trying to address with Four Kitchens?

We needed help with a Drupal and Opigno upgrade, and navigation, and visual improvements to our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Four Kitchens provided project management, technical strategy, backend, and frontend development. The team has upgraded our website from Drupal 9.5.11 to Drupal 10.2 and Opigno 3.1.0 to 3.2.7. They've also remediated bugs and made functional improvements.

How did you come to work with Four Kitchens?

Someone on our internal web team referred Four Kitchens. Their proposal and scope of work met our needs. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2025, and the project ended in March 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Four Kitchens has successfully upgraded Drupal and Opigno. The team has also improved navigation so users can see where they left off. Four Kitchens has corrected modules' sequencing and logic to align with completion settings. They've also enabled easier access to PDFs and learning materials and fixed rendering issues with H5P "Fill in the Blanks" and similar activity types. Overall, we've seen a reduction in support requests.

How did Four Kitchens perform from a project management standpoint?

Four Kitchens' project management is excellent. Meetings are scheduled and held without delays. The team started and ended the project on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Four Kitchens delivers quality work on time with excellent collaboration. The team members are friendly, professional, and showed a genuine desire to help us meet our goals.

I’m the VP of global marketing and communications for Mem Global. We provide a vibrant Jewish community, learning, and leadership for young adults in their 20s and early 30s by supporting them as they create and actively engage in meaningful Jewish experiences for themselves and their peers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Four Kitchens?

We wanted a fresh, adaptive website that would speak to all of our audiences (donors, partners, and young adults) and allow all of our programs to live together under our umbrella. We also wanted something we could easily maintain and edit ourselves.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Four Kitchens has done a full website rebuild as part of a brand evolution launch. They’ve done the site architecture, visual style guide based on our program logos, development, and ongoing maintenance. They’ve also handled the migration. We’ve ended up doing the content creation.

They were referred to me. Their pricing fit our budget, and they had good value for the cost.

We started working with them in May 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

I’m a project manager at Disability Rights Texas, a nonprofit organization. We are the protection and advocacy agency for Texans with disabilities. We utilize a variety of legal strategies to help people with disabilities understand and exercise their rights.

What challenge were you trying to address with Four Kitchens?

We needed help designing and creating a website for the Community Justice Workers of Texas (CJW) Program. The website needed to include public and private pages. The private pages needed to include a basic activity management system for our CJWs, access to courses via an SSO with Canvas, the ability for people to apply as CJWs, the ability to review and approve/deny CJW applications, and the ability to run reports on each of these areas of information.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Four Kitchens has been responsible for project management, technical strategy, and backend and frontend development. The team has created the Community Justice Workers initiative portal on the TexasLawHelp.org site. Features in scope include: Four Kitchens has been responsible for enhanced reporting and automation. Four Kitchens has been responsible for LMS integration on the TLH site, including SSO, basic API integration, verified user shortcut to the LMS, and consulting hours with an instructional designer to define the user experience to transition from the portal to the LMS.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Admins and CJWs have been utilizing the private pages and the public has been visiting the public pages. We’re mainly concerned with whether the site functions as expected.

How did Four Kitchens perform from a project management standpoint?

Four Kitchens communicates well, keeps us informed, and delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Four Kitchens’ technical strategy has been thorough and helpful for our team. They’ve created a complex internal/external-facing site in a relatively short period of time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While we knew what we ultimately wanted in this portal, we didn’t know the specifics of how to get there. As a result, the project has been more complex than we anticipated, and some things weren't fully tested, such as the report outputs.

I’m a communications associate at Jewish Family Service LA, a nonprofit organization. We provide a wide range of social services, including food, shelter, counseling, and support for individuals and families of all backgrounds in the greater Los Angeles area.

We needed support for our website functionalities.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Four Kitchens developed our website pages, including coding and design. The team catered to our needs, delivering unique pages, registration forms, etc. Four Kitchens ensured our website ran smoothly and often did security checkups. The team covered a wide range of supportive tasks for our website development.

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, offered good value for the cost, and had aligned company values.

We have continuously worked with them, for a couple of years now.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One of our newest pages that they helped us create had a great result. We successfully had 20 participants register for our program through the new registration page they built. It was a small pilot program. We also saw an increase in website traffic and engagement. The new page was one of our top 10 pages.

How did Four Kitchens perform from a project management standpoint?

Four Kitchens delivered on time. We primarily communicated through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Four Kitchens is very helpful in developing our website and troubleshooting web errors. The team had a great friendly environment with great representatives and helpful overall staff. I'm impressed by their ability to problem-solve.
