I am the Owner of a digital agency. We are providing digital services to our clients - mainly custom development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Forwardcode Techstudio, and what were your goals?

We hired Forwardcode Techstudio for a custom development project. As our resources were blocked with other urgent projects we needed an expert who can help us. We were looking for someone with extraordinary quality and reliability was very important to us.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were sourcing possible DevTeams and interviewed them. Forwardcode Techstudio was a perfect fit for us. Both from the technical point of view, as well as from the communication point of view. They were very pro-active and transparent. Also, their know-how was great so it was an easy decision to work with them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The task was to develop a Job Platform. The Job Plattform was used to post offers, find possible candidates and to get in touch with them. Also a match-algorithm was implemented.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In total, we worked with 3 Persons. The first contact was with CEO. When all parameters were set, we worked with the Developer and Project Manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was delivered on time and in good quality. The platform does what it supposed to do. We were so satisfied with their work that we have decided to continue working with them on the platform as well as we are planning to indulge them in other projects as well.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

For Communication we were using Slack. For Project-Management we used Trello. It was easy to manage and it helped us to keep track of our progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was very easy to work with Forwardcode Techstudio. The communication was always a pleasure and easy. The important thing was that we could always follow the progress and that they were easy to reach. Quick response time, valid answers to our questions and their consultation was also great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, we are happy with our choice.

What challenge were you trying to address with Forwardcode Techstudio?

We’re building out our software capabilities. We want to build our software and build more for our clients in the intellectual property space. We’ve worked with Forwardcode to do that.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Forwardcode is developing a web-only SaaS product for us from scratch. The two projects we’re working on are both end-to-end. Forwardcode helps us get to the end of each iteration. They make sure everything works, and they do that extra proofing for us as well.

We initially came up with the concept and provided design mockups. Forwardcode worked through all the specific aspects of it, ensuring that it would work properly. They asked questions about how it would all be executed. Then, they began the development.   

Whenever there is a better way of doing something than outlined in the design, Forwardcode suggests it — they implement it if we agree it is the right thing to do.

What is the team composition?

We work with two teammates from Forwardcode: a backend developer and a teammate in charge of the overall frontend work.

How did you come to work with Forwardcode Techstudio?

I met Forwarecode through a referral. They did a bit of work for us that we liked, so we decided to keep them on a more permanent basis.

What is the status of this engagement?

We work on a few projects with them and have an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’d worked with other developers on our client projects, and they didn’t meet our expectations after about two months of work. When we worked with Forwardcode, they built almost the entire project we needed from scratch in around a month. 

How did Forwardcode Techstudio perform from a project management standpoint?

Forwardcode is extremely effective at communicating deadlines. They’re good at telling us what needs to be done, and they’re always one step ahead of us. They’re excellent overall.

I am the project manager on these projects. For Forwardcode, it’s really about completing the work. They’re very organized and they take responsibility for the projects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to take complete ownership over a project is impressive. Fowardcode is transparent and communicative, and they do everything correctly and with integrity. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients need to be transparent about their needs. Forwardcode is very clear, and they’ll meet whatever the expectations are. If they don’t clearly understand what the client wants, they won’t be able to do their work correctly.
