We had worked with 3 other developers in the past year. We started by migrating our site to WooCommerce / Wordpress. The transition was NOT smooth. The website was constantly breaking. We hired two other developers that did a good job selling their services and promising quick results but neither of them were capabile of delivering on thier promises. A close friend recommended Asif at Fokus. 
Asif listened well, understood the scope of work and gave us a good plan of attack with a realistic timeline. It was a breath of fresh air to work with someone that communicated well, worked hard and beat the timeline that we agreed to. We will continue to work with Focus for all of our website development needs and maintence. Asif is very trustworthy!

We have gone from having a website that was prone to breaking (not an acceptable way to do busines) to having a site that is rock solid, fast and much easier for customers to shop.

They delivered on the scope of work. It seems like this would be common, but we had others who had let us down horribly. It was refreshing to have a team that delivered more than asked and finished the scope of work before the agreed-upon timeline.

No, we are very pleased with the work and will continue to be a client of Fokus.

Fokus was hired to consult and build both the public-facing website as well as the administrative backend, including CMS and CRM, full e-commerce handling millions of dollars in transactions.

I selected Fokus because I have worked with Asif for years on different projects, and when he launched Fokus with all of the resources he was capable of bringing to the table, as well as the unique insights and marketplace

The site was a Wordpress-based site with Jetpack CRM and WooCommerce on the back end. We had several deliverable steps, including design/look & feel, wireframes, e-commerce set up and management, chapter pages and functionality, and finally overall testing and review.

3 people from the team were our contacts, including one of Fokus' partners., their head of UX, and a lead designer.

The site surpassed all expectations, allowing for the successful completion of millions of dollars in revenue.

In addition, marketing automation successfully targeted previous customers and increased our repeat rate from 11% to 36%.

The management style was relaxed and collaborative. They never just identified problems. They presented 2-3 solutions for each roadblock we encountered.

They were extremely timely with milestones and feedback.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of dedication to the end result was what impressed me the most. Plenty of companies bait & switch you, and project creep is almost a given.

Not with Fokus. The pre-planning work helped avoid wasted time and allowed for incremental successes on our path to a great final product.

No. We really enjoyed the entire process of working with Fokus.

We have been working with Asif for almost 2 years now and he has helped us out numerous times with implementing and redesigning several of our websites; his code is super clean and spot on.

Every deliverable has been submitted on time at a very budget-friendly rate. His aptitude far outweighed my expectations; we could not be happier with his performance/skill set.

We hired Fokus LLC to redesign a skincare startup's online store that was build 4 years ago. The existing site was not customer or admin friendly. The goal was to hire a detail-oriented, reliable, and responsible team to build a performing, high-converting site with visual impact.

Our relationship started from doing a much smaller development project. We learned quickly that Fokus LLC had great technical expertise in development, as well as UX/UI-focused design thinking about how the end customer will use the site. Afterward, we decided to hire the firm for a larger, mission-critical e-comm project.

We had a design file ready in XD. The goal was to create a pixel-perfect front end in Shopify with all e-comm capabilities. We kicked off doing a design review first with an emphasis on proportions, resizing, and interactions. Then we worked on the front-end with detailed QA/QC managed both by our agency and the firm's project lead.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, the engagement metrics clear went up. We were seeing fewer dropoffs and more time spent on site. Also the site was much more flexible and usable for client and our marketing team, making easy to launch a campaign landing page within two days. Combined with our digital advertising efforts, the new site was instrumental in driving better results on DTC.

We mainly communicate over Slack so we are real-time and on the same page. Due to their prompt and responsive communication, it felt as if we were working in the same office. The communication was always professional, efficient, and enjoyable to work with.

Their dedication to the project, prompt and clear communication, and proactive problem-solving skills were impressive. There are dev teams out there who only follow order per spec. Fokus's founder Asif and Ikram, the Shopify lead, really understood the platform and user experience.

When we had questions about functionality, they proactively suggested solutions which made the project successful.

We were able to launch the site per deadline and overtime have improved CVR & AOV. We improved AOV by focusing on bundle strategy.

Since changing our site to WordPress it has been a lot easier to update and add in new pages/sections for our customers.
