**Succeeding in critical tasks that requires focus**
FocusReactive is an engineering headless CMS and eCommerce agency specializing in Next.js development and composable content architecture. The agency is an official partner of Sanity, Storyblok, Contentful, and Payload CMS, and works across all four platforms based on project requirements rather than preference.

Every project ships with content architecture, editorial workflows, AI SEO, and performance optimized for predictable scaling. As a headless CMS company, we design systems that scale seamlessly across code, content, and team, e.g new builds, CMS migrations, and full platform replatforms. Typical engagements cover content architecture, editorial workflow design, performance engineering, and long-term governance. Projects commonly involve migrating from legacy platforms such as WordPress or Webflow to modern, API-first headless stacks.

We evolve your content managements systems, not just deliver them.

**Outcomes FocusReactive target:**

- Marketing teams able to publish and launch campaigns independently, without engineering involvement
- Content systems that scale across codebases, content models, and team size
- Migrations that carry over SEO equity, editorial workflows, and performance benchmarks
- Reusable, production-tested architecture designed to evolve as business requirements change

**The Review** — Jun 17, 2026

**Feedback Summary**: FocusReactive delivered an exceptionally fast e-commerce platform that scored excellently on Core Web Vitals. The team demonstrated a clear understanding of the headless architecture and had real hands-on experience with both MedusaJS and Payload. They also communicated clearly.
""What impressed us was their ability to implement our Figma designs with pixel-level accuracy.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and position.I am the Account Manager of HabitatDescribe what your company does in a single sentence.Habitat is a UI/UX design studio based in Rivne, Ukraine. We specialize in crafting digital product design for web and mobile - from brand identity through to high-fidelity prototypes and design systems. Our clients range from early-stage startups to established businesses looking to elevate their digital presence.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What specific goals or objectives did you hire FocusReactive to accomplish? We needed a reliable development partner to bring a client’s eCommerce platform to life. We had completed all the design work in-house — full UI/UX in Figma — and needed a team that could implement it with precision using a modern headless stack: MedusaJS for the commerce backend, Payload CMS for content management, and NextJS for the frontend. The key requirements were performance (Core Web Vitals), maximum content flexibility for the client, and a clean handoff that we could maintain going forward.

**SOLUTION**
How did you find FocusReactive? We discovered FocusReactive through research into specialized Next.js and headless CMS agencies. Why did you select FocusReactive over others?High ratingsGreat culture fitCompany values alignedtechnical depthHow many teammates from FocusReactive were assigned to this project?2-5 EmployeesDescribe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables. The project had several key layers: development of the eCommerce storefront in Next.js based on our Figma designs, integration with MedusaJS for product catalog, cart, and checkout flows, Payload CMS setup for content management, performance optimization for fast load times and strong Core Web Vitals scores, and a final QA and handoff phase with documentation for the client.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success? The site speed. We had ambitious performance targets, and FocusReactive genuinely delivered — the final product loads exceptionally fast and scored excellently on Core Web Vitals. Beyond the numbers, what impressed us was their ability to implement our Figma designs with pixel-level accuracy while also suggesting meaningful technical improvements along the way.Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?Development was tracked through Trello, with tasks broken down by sprint. We had a shared board that gave us clear visibility into what was in progress, in review, and done at any given time. It was simple but effective — we never felt lost in the process.Day-to-day communication happened in Slack — fast, async, and always responsive. Figma was our shared source of truth for design handoff and feedback. Notion was used for documentation, decisions, and meeting notes. We had regular sync calls to review progress and align on priorities. Overall, the communication and project management felt very structured without being bureaucratic. Everything was delivered on time every time. What was your primary form of communication with FocusReactive?Virtual MeetingEmail or Messaging AppWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company?First, their technical depth — they clearly understood the headless architecture we were building toward, not just the surface-level implementation. Second, they had real hands-on experience with both MedusaJS and Payload, which was non-negotiable for us given our stack. Third, they communicated clearly from day one: the discovery call felt like talking to engineers, not salespeople. That gave us confidence they’d be a true partner rather than just an executor. Are there any areas for improvement or something FocusReactive could have done differently? At the start of the project, the onboarding and initial scoping phase took a bit longer than we’d hoped — some back-and-forth on estimates and technical decisions. Nothing critical, and it smoothed out quickly, but slightly faster project kickoff would be welcome next time.

Web Lead, Digital Parking Services Provider
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1,001-5,000 Employees
- Review Type: Online Review

**The Review** — Feb 10, 2023

**Feedback Summary**: FocusReactive’s work has doubled SEO traffic in the first week and has received positive feedback from stakeholders. The team is down-to-earth and professional. They have become part of the client's team and not just a supplier of resources.
""I trust them 100% because they will go through fire to deliver what you need.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

We provide digital parking services like an app to pay to park. I am the Web Lead at this organisation.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire FocusReactive, and what were your goals?

To develop a new fast and scalable website on one domain, but for 20+ markets and have it integrated with a headless CMS.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They are a partner of the selected headless CMS we picked. We picked FocusReactive over other partners because of their no-nonsense approach, technical know-how, experience and price.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Scope: build a new international content website based on React and static pages integrated with the Storyblok headless CMS to replace 25+ websites

Steps we took were: alignment on steps to take to be able to launch the website, decide on and plan the resources, design phase of 1 month and development phase (with additional design) of 6 months, testing phase and release.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

- Business Development Manager
- Senior Lead Engineer
- Two full-stack developers
- Designer

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

- Very powerful and flexible integration with the Storyblok headless CMS so the business stakeholders can now launch new markets and build new pages with 40+ drag-and-drop blocks without the support of developers.

- A new website that is 5 times faster, while being 20 times bigger regarding content and functionalities, than the old websites.

- SEO traffic doubled in the first week

- Positive and enthusiastic feedback from across the organisation on the design, scalibility and flexibility of the website

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

They don't loose themselves in planning or presentations. They are down-to-earth and want to get things done - and they delivered.

The lines are short and personal/social while always to the point: not to waste time/resources. We use Slack for daily communication, have one weekly team standup on video and use a Trello board for backlog planning.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A lot of companies have layers of sales on top of them and if you don't plan in advance, you cannot get the resources needed. FocusReactive ensures that you are never blocked because they will prioritise for you. They are very professional while they are down-to-earth and social enough to have a laugh with. I really see them as part of the team and not a supplier of resources.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None, honestly.

Design Lead & Design System Manager, Secret Escapes
- Industry: Hospitality & leisure

- Client size: 501-1,000 Employees
- Review Type: Online Review

**The Review** — Sep 12, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: FocusReactive's engineers helped the client deliver around 150 components within six months. The project completion went from 50% to 96%, which exceeded the client's expectations. Moreover, despite the war, the vendor continued to work on their tasks and ensured a smooth workflow.
""They were very efficient and trustworthy.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

Secret Escapes is a British travel e-commerce selling heavily discounted High-end hotel stays and holidays through its website and apps. My role in the company is Design lead and Design system manager. I am taking care of the design, process and delivery of our Design system called Voyager and work closely with our front-end engineers to ensure consistency and integrity of our Design system.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire FocusReactive, and what were your goals?

We lacked front-end resources to deliver our REACT JS component library to enable the integration of our Design system.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We needed an agency specialised in front-end technologies with experience in delivering design systems. The final call was made by the CTO based on communication and price.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We previously worked for six months with Focus Reactive on server-side rendering and integration pieces where their engineers were fully integrated within the team. The Blast project being much more narrow in scope, we opted for a simple delivery strategy for this part as it didn't require the same level of involvement on technical decisions from Focus Reactive. The Blast consisted in delivering all the components required to decouple our front-end from our monolithic application using REACT JS.

The requirement was to deliver around 90% of all the components and make them visible in our Storybook library. We started off with a simple kick off, sharing the ways of working and all the informations required for the agency to start the work. The components were divided following the Atomic Design methodology, starting with the most simple ones (Atoms).

I provided the engineers with Jira tickets for each components, describing the requirements (variations and props) and links to the component design (in Figma). Jira tickets were moved accordingly to the correct swim-lane (To do / In progress / Blocked / In review / Ready for release / Done) to allow me to keep track of the delivery. We also had a timesheet and a component delivery tracker in place that allow me to report on time spent and progress to the senior stakeholders.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had two part time (50%) front-end engineers working with us for six months.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

In almost 6 month the agency delivered around 150 components (inc. updates on existing ones) and brought the whole project completion from 50% to 96%, which exceeded the business expectations.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Focus Reactive are very independent and goal driven. You give them a task and they will deliver to the best of their knowledge asking questions along to way to avoid wild assumptions. We mostly communicated through Slack and only meetings when required, usually to clarify the specs. We had a few check ups to discuss on how to improve our collaboration and assess our progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very efficient and trustworthy. With an engineer working on the project being based in Kiev during the Russian invasion, it has been a challenging period for Focus Reactive, but even in these dire circumstances - they unexpectedly carried on the work and we went through this period incredibly smoothly. This is dedication!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Secret Escapes loves meetings, which sometimes gets in the way of delivery due to context switching. It is necessary to recognise which ones are relevant and which ones are not. Being invited by various people to a bunch of meetings, they tried to join them all and it took a while for Focus Reactive to voice their unhappiness about the situation. This was particularly relevant to the first part of the project and I believe we found the right balance during the second part. Setting clear expectations in terms of involvement from the start would have been beneficial.

## Portfolio & Awards

### High-performance brand redesign with Next.js
QuantHealth needed a complete website redesign to match its new brand identity and support rapid company growth. The existing platform lacked modern UX standards, flexibility for marketing updates, and the performance required for a scaling HealthTech company.
We rebuilt the website from scratch using Next.js 15 and DatoCMS, implementing 80+ modular components and advanced custom animations while keeping performance as a priority. Through server-side optimizations, critical CSS, and asset compression, the new platform achieved a 100/100 real-user performance score and sub-second load times. Marketing teams now update content 50% faster, with a flexible CMS structure that supports long-term scalability and ongoing growth.

### NextJS and Headless CMS for 14 countries
EasyPark needed to replace a legacy CMS that slowed content updates and required coordination across multiple teams. Operating in 14 countries and 35 languages, they required a scalable, high-performance platform that would streamline workflows, improve SEO, and empower marketing teams to work independently.
We migrated the platform to a modern headless architecture using NextJS and Storyblok, designing a structured content model with 125 content types and thousands of stories. With real-time visual editing, reusable components, and optimized SSR performance, the new system eliminated bottlenecks and doubled SEO traffic within the first week — giving teams full control over content while creating a scalable foundation for long-term growth.

### NextJS & Sanity marketing website
The client reached out to us seeking Sanity experts while choosing the right technology for their marketing website relaunch. Together we have planned and executed a composable marketing website optimized for an international audience with localization and location-based pricing and content overrides. We have built from scratch more than 30 pages based on a collection of 50+ content blocks, each could be used to construct new pages without dev involvement thanks to a special Headless CMS setup. The website has been optimized for the highest Core Web Vitals scores, hosted on Vercel, and uses Cloudflare Workers for a custom localization logic.

### NextJS & Contentful Integration
By integrating Headless CMS, with minimal changes to the existing applications we enabled the marketing team to completely controlling website content without relying on tech resources.

### Crystallize eCommerce webshop
NotSoApe is one of the brands managed by large eCommerce holding, they approach us seeking expertise in Headless eCommerce development with Crystallize platform. We have developed a fully functional storefront for their US market website, integrating with Stripe and their fulfillment services, centralizing products catalog and order statuses within Crystallize platform. The eCommerce store is highly optimized using the latest NextJS features and is hosted on Vercel.

### WP to Headless CMS migration (NextJS + Payload)
EmailOctopus needed to move away from a rigid WordPress setup and unify two separate domains into a single, scalable marketing platform. The existing CMS limited flexibility, slowed experimentation, and impacted performance and SEO.
We migrated 400+ pages and 4,000+ assets to a modern headless architecture built with NextJS and Payload CMS, introducing a flexible block-based page builder for marketing autonomy. Dynamic pricing calculators with multi-currency support, reusable global components, and built-in redirect management enabled faster experimentation without developer involvement. The result is a high-performance, SEO-optimized platform with consistently green PageSpeed scores and a scalable foundation for future growth.

### Complex Magento to Shopify Plus upgrade
Caleffi needed to migrate a large-scale Magento store — with 24K+ SKUs, 300K customers, and 400K historical orders — to Shopify while preserving SEO equity, analytics data, and complex ERP integrations. The challenge required full localization, B2B capabilities, and real-time synchronization with AS/400 ERP and PIM systems, all without business disruption.
We rebuilt the commerce architecture using Shopify Hydrogen and Remix, integrating real-time ERP and PIM synchronization, advanced B2B pricing logic, and AI-assisted localization across four languages and multiple domains. Custom Shopify extensions, Algolia search, and a Sanity-powered content layer ensured scalability and performance. The result is a fully operational, enterprise-grade eCommerce platform with seamless data migration, preserved SEO history, and a future-ready architecture built for long-term growth.

### Global eSIM platform across 190 countries (NextJS)
Firsty needed to rebuild its Webflow-based website to support eSIM sales in 190+ countries, introduce multilingual functionality, dynamic pricing, and secure payments — all while preserving SEO authority and delivering high-performance custom animations. The platform had to scale globally without adding complexity to content management.
We rebuilt the site using NextJS 15 and Storyblok, creating 190+ CMS-managed country pages with AI-powered field-level localization across six languages. Dynamic pricing was connected via external APIs, and Adyen was integrated for seamless payments. With an SEO-optimized architecture and reusable component system, Firsty now operates a scalable, high-performance platform ready for rapid expansion into new markets and pricing models.

### CMS migration from Prismic to Storyblok and NextJS
Real Thread needed to move away from Prismic’s rigid content structure, which limited editorial flexibility and required constant developer involvement for routine updates. The goal was to redesign the content architecture, improve the editor experience with real-time preview, and create scalable workflows that would support long-term growth.
We migrated nearly 1,500 documents and over 2,300 assets to Storyblok, rebuilding the platform with a clean, block-based structure and live visual editing. Custom tools like Redirect Configuration and a Product Manager empowered the marketing team to manage SEO and product content independently. The result is a modular, scalable CMS that reduced developer bottlenecks and significantly improved publishing speed and content autonomy.

### Custom Sanity build
Tipico is an international provider of sports betting and casino games, having already the biggest market share in Europe, we engaged with them at the early stage of their US expansion. We supported and developed solutions for multiple of their teams working on greenfield Headless CMS (Sanity) apps integration with the frontend on NextJS.
We delivered a number of custom CMS features like advanced role management, context content overrides, advanced publishing flow, and multiple Sanity Studio customizations to fit their editorial needs. Apart from horizontal Sanity integration, we also build from scratch a composable marketing website driving their marketing and SEO campaigns through the US expansion.

### SEO-focused website with NextJS and Sanity
Financial Team needed a modern marketing website to replace an outdated platform that delivered poor performance and almost no online visibility. The new site had to support inbound lead generation, meet SEO requirements, and allow the internal marketing team to manage content independently - all within a limited budget.
We rebuilt the website using NextJS, Sanity, and a component-based UI powered by Flowbite and Tailwind. The new architecture delivers fast performance, clean SEO structure, and a flexible content model that allows the team to manage pages, blog posts, and events without developer support. The result is a high-performance, SEO-ready marketing platform that provides a strong foundation for long-term growth.

### Multi-market platform with NextJS & Storyblok
Arrive needed a scalable, multi-market marketing platform capable of handling complex layouts and rich animations without sacrificing performance or editorial flexibility. The goal was to empower marketing teams to scale content independently while maintaining a clean, future-proof architecture.
We delivered a monorepo-based NextJS platform with 100+ reusable components aligned with Figma design tokens and integrated Storyblok for efficient multi-language content management. Advanced animations were implemented with performance safeguards, alongside enterprise-grade form security. The result is a fast, SEO-ready platform built for international growth and long-term maintainability.

### Next.js & Storyblok SEO-Driven Marketing Platform
We designed and developed a modern Next.js + Storyblok marketing platform built around a highly modular architecture. The solution includes:

90 reusable modular components for fast page creation
a custom Storyblok Bridge integration for React Server Components and live preview
a no-code CSV-to-chart publishing workflow for data-heavy content
automated migration of 150+ articles with rich-text structure transformation
full technical SEO automation (metadata, structured content, crawlability, indexing support)

Key Challenges Solved:

moved the client away from an SEO-invisible single-page application
removed heavy developer dependency for marketing updates
introduced a scalable workflow for data-driven editorial content

The final platform includes:

368 published pages
215 reusable content components
1,526 migrated assets

As a result, the marketing team can now publish and update content independently without engineering involvement.
