The project was delivered with accuracy and flexibility as the team were responsive to changes to the initial project brief. The team also demonstrated a clear knowledge and adaptability to overcome any issues, working together to communicate any issues as they came up.

While we recieved regular updates during the project, when the scope changed from the initial proposal, it would have been helpful to have proactively recieved updates on the changes to the time and assoicated costs as the project evolved. Having said this once mentioned, the team were reactive to provide updates.

AD Security Group are a specialist in advanced physical and electronic security for the commercial sector. We also work in facial recognition and use deep learning to analyse ongoing threats for our customers. I'm the project manager.

We were looking for a company to make the best of our fairly large email database of existing and potential customers. We were also looking to undertake lead generation using Google. We had previously been receiving leads from potential customers that were not as suitable as we wanted. Our main motivation was to get fewer, but larger leads in general. So we needed a combination of direct email marketing and paid advertising.

We found them on a business directory but realised we had seen present at an event we had attended in the past, so we gave them an opportunity to pitch. We also selected two other digital agencies in London and more locally and accepted proposals from all three. In the end we selected Flycast Media because they were very knowledgeable about, not just our industry but our clients as well.

We made some small adjustments to the overall proposal and contracts and then scheduled two separate discovery sessions with relevant members of the team. From the very beginning they took control, but were extremely helpful and explained everything in detail as they went. For our email marketing approach, we analysed and cleaned our database together, discussed and implemented more ways to harvest additional potential customers into our sales pipeline and funnel and put together automated sequences based around business personas.

We also built very specific cold email sales outreach sequences that generated a surprisingly large amount of leads. Not something I expected at all from this method. We also undertook an audit of our paid advertising on Google and they were able to scale that back somewhat by adjusting bids and changing keywords. In the end we are spending less money and getting more leads which is great. It's an ongoing process but so far we are really pleased about how we all communicate and the effectiveness and ROI of the campaigns.

We currently work with four separate team members, two of them are specialists in Google advertising and landing pages and the other two are experts in email design and deliverability. We also work with the managing director and are able to speak to a member of the team any time we want. We are thinking of embedding one of their team members in our office for one day a week next year as things are going so well.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Two things are really easy to measure in terms of ROI. We are definitely getting more leads for a smaller spend from our Google advertising. It also must be said that the quality of leads is different. They have somehow managed to find a way of getting bigger companies to call us (while spending less money) and I suspect it is based in how they word the actual advertising on Google, but I’m no expert.

We are also getting significantly more responses from our email database as well as completely new leads coming in from the cold email marketing that they do. Overall we are definitely doing better across our whole sales funnel and especially at the bottom of it.

We generally use the phone or scheduled zoom calls to discuss our campaigns. They did offer a Slack channel for everybody to use, but our staff are not comfortable with that type of system so we prefer email and telephone. In terms of timelines, we get monthly reports showing all the KPIs that we like to monitor. We find them easy-going, knowledgeable, and patient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was surprised by their very specific knowledge about our industry, but it seems that they specialise in our sector. They really know about the B2B service industry, and especially about security and protection. This has really helped our project go smoothly.

Flycast Media invested some time in undertaking an in-depth design consultation exercise looking back through the history of our business and the industry, taking into account the attributes of stability, reliability and trustworthiness we wanted to portray.

They then designed and developed a new corporate identity as well as a brand new WordPress site.

Flycast then undertook a comprehensive search engine optimisation exercise including full keyword research around our marketplace and target demographics, and implemented this across the site, meaning we are now in better Google positions for many keywords than we were before.

We worked specifically with the business owner but one suspects there were several other administrative staff working on the project behind the scenes.

Flycast regularly monitor and update our keyword targeting across all our new articles ensuring focused targeting for our chosen demographic.

They undertake careful on-site and off-site management including consistent interactions with potential clients on Twitter, and regularly update our streams with fresh animated content, targeting a very specific section of our target market.

We have seen a steady uplift in traffic and we are confident both of our future returns and developing a cordial business relationship.

Flycast Media is always easily accessible and highly responsive to queries and requests.

Hands-on management from the top down.

We saw considerable improvement in both amount and quality of leads. In fact because of their attention to detail and overall approach we were able to trim our spend accordingly without a reduction in new business.

We always get a monthly report containing KPIs and they provide great feedback about next steps every time. If they say they will do something it gets done, and they are always happy to take time to explain both process and results in a way that I can easily relate to my team.

Their attention to detail and customer service, they are always available for a quick phone call or zoom meeting whenever we ask.

I worked with John their Google ad specialist and occasionally the managing director. Any time I call they are available and I feel the advertising is running smoothly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Changing over to the specialist landing pages definitely increased our leads. I feel we are getting more phone calls for the same money we were spending previously. It's been so successful we have chosen to pause for two months so we can catch up with all the work.

They give us a customized dashboard that we can access any time to see our spending and clicks and we have a monthly call to go through the figures. They've given me some excellent tips to help with my email follow-ups even though I don't use them for that. They really know their stuff and have strong problem-solving skills.

They are very friendly and good at explaining how it all works and I'm never left without an answer if I need one.

We hired them to undertake B2B search engine optimisation and inbound marketing for one of our clients. Towards the middle of 2020 we needed to help them switch direction quickly in terms of lead generation because of that pandemic and Flycast were very helpful and agile at the time.

They came through personal recommendation although we did speak to a couple of their current and previous clients to get feedback about return on investment, their working processes and overall ideology.

Initially we bought Flycast in to help with our client's account-based marketing strategy. Their brief was to work closely with the client's own in-house team across a multidiscipline approach which included organic search, paid search, paid social advertising, webinars and hosted events, email nurturing and the whole sales funnel. Our client required a very focused approach across five main verticals: finance, insurance, life science, public sector and energy/utilities.

 Our client has a lot of previous content that needed auditing and updating and they managed to implement this extremely quickly as well as create very successful campaigns specifically around Covid19 in the education sector (which was something extra added to the brief at a later date). They provided an extremely in-depth content plan geared across all our client's target markets and the content they produced was extremely technically aware, educational and proved successful at drawing potential prospects into the middle of a very technical sales funnel using excellent landing pages, CTAs and long-form content.

 They also helped build a complex inbound/marketing automation campaign for our client using their large database and this was extremely productive in producing multiple webinars and meetings. Overall they were able to onboard a large and complex campaign very quickly and produce the results our client wanted within the timeframe given.

We worked with four separate people which included the head of inbound marketing, the senior search engine optimization manager, pharmaceutical content specialists, and paid search staff.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Because of the pandemic situation our client was forced to cancel an extremely important and large live event in America planned for December 2020. This was replaced with much more granular webinar/video-based campaign which needed to get off the ground quickly. Our client needed both existing contacts/prospects and new leads to engage quickly and Flycast media leveraged excellent content and campaigns which made this happen especially within the pharmaceutical and utilities sectors. Overall our client was extremely pleased with the results.

Flycast are very good at being on the end of the phone when you need them to be and since our client pivoted away from the original brief more than once it was great that Shane and Flycast team were so agile. We used a mix of project management software and email to manage the product and communicate with the client and found it pretty seamless overall.

We were impressed with their ability to produce specific and high-quality content for our client's target sectors. Our client was particularly impressed by the content they produced for the sales team targeting pharmaceutical companies.

I am the contracts manager at Central lofts, a home improvement company in Central and West London. We have multiple teams working around the city and the Home Counties providing loft conversions, kitchens and extensions etc.

What were your goals for this project?

To increase customers in the London and Home Counties area. We also wanted to improve the overall quality of inbound calls and leads.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We found from a Google ad in the first place, and they have a strong portfolio and good testimonials. We looked at a couple of other companies, but in the end Flycast Media instilled confidence in us from the start which is why we went with them.

We asked them to take over our Google ads campaign. In the beginning they overhauled our account, rewrote all the ads and using keyword research they streamlined the account maximising efficiency and bringing overall cost per lead down. They developed a really good-looking landing page that made a huge difference to our overall conversion rate.

When the coronavirus lockdown came into effect, overall enquiries did drop off. To combat this they suggested (and put together) an excellent "loft cost estimator" multistep landing page that completely turned things around, and last month we had over 27 leads from it, even though people aren't allowed to leave their house.

Our communication is with Shane who runs the team, and we find him very responsive to any of our queries. He pretty much answers emails on the same day every time.

I get a comprehensive report every month showing our overall costs and clicks. I also get a monthly report of all the landing page form completions. We have steadily increased spend, but the new loft estimator landing page has really made a difference and we received over 50 conversions in May, which is outstanding bearing in mind market conditions because of lockdown.

As I'm out on the road all the time, I generally communicate with them by email and they have been very effective in dealing with any of my queries. They are proactive in suggesting changes to our Google account on a regular basis and these have led to significant improvements.

I feel they take extra effort in trying to help us achieve what we need to do and they have made suggestions about using email marketing and automation to ensure we make the most out of every lead.

They have a no-nonsense customer driven approach. I get the impression that they are more concerned about ensuring their clients get the most out of Google AdWords than anything else.

Since then we have increased budget and we are very pleased with the results. We also added campaigns for maintenance and repairs which have proved very successful. We went from below 20 quality leads a month to 30+ which really made a difference to our business.

Can you share any statistics or metrics that speak to the quality of their work and impact of the engagement?

Over time, revenue from Google Ads rose by approximately 300% and our cost per lead more than halved. Essentially, we received more than twice the inquiries for the same money and converted a lot more of them.
