We implemented in-depth demographic research and content creation sourcing along with a daily regimented plan of social engagement.

We realised that although the website we’d originally created for AFTT was good, it wasn’t really working anymore, it wasn’t responsive and had been built before the touch screen revolution. It was no longer user

With an innovative international product we gave the client access to multiple currencies and multiple international markets using a specialist WordPress build.

The Problem

They needed to reach different countries speaking different languages. Meaning what was needed was a multilingual e-commerce website which showcased their products in four of the most widely spoken

I work for Monocouche Render Systems, a high performance manufacturer of through-color cement and limestone that supports all construction and renovation methods throughout the UK, Europe, and the world.

We engaged Flycast to update our website and optimize it for mobile devices. The site was very slow with a low conversion rate and poor search engine rankings. 

What were your goals for this project?

In addition to improving traffic, conversions, and rankings, we wanted to present a more modern image to potential clients and showcase our impressive portfolio of previous work.

How did you select this vendor?

We had begun to notice their increased social media activity around the same time a business contact recommended them. After some deliberation on pushing the project forward and preparing our initial brief, we reached out to them. They were not only competitive but also experienced in the skills we needed. 

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

They designed and developed a comprehensive WordPress solution that maximized our wealth of media, from photographs and technical documents to product user guides. They also spent a considerable amount of time analyzing and discussing the new user journey to ensure the conversion rate was prioritized. 

What was the team composition?

Though multiple staff members worked on this project, our primary contact from start to finish was an inbound manager who was experienced in UX design and traffic generation.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We are in the early stages of the launch but have already seen improvements in traffic and client convergence. The dramatic increase in activity has allowed us to scale back other planned marketing efforts.

The team was flexible and met both the budget and most deadlines. They answered emails promptly, clearly communicated changes, and arranged meetings whenever necessary, sometimes with very short notice.

We needed to get more customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed a website, managed our PPC with Google AdWords, and also ran our SEO activities. They came up with a keyword list and improved our rankings and search engine marketing.

They brainstormed to come up with ideas that would appeal to our target market. The content wasn’t about our industry but about the challenges that our target market was interested in reading about. They developed content through blog activity and got that content published on other websites with links to bring readers back to our website.

I dealt with their managing director.

We met with a few agencies and gave them the business on the basis of their price and their ability to do the job.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent £40,000 pounds (approximately $52,500 USD) per year.

The average client acquisition costs from marketing spend to lead generated improved each year, which is why we continued working with them.

I previously served as the marketing manager for Melbourne Server Hosting. It’s a UK-based business providing dedicated server hosting and cloud servers for digital agencies and ecommerce brands.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flycast Media?

We'd historically managed PPC in house. As the business changed, we needed somebody to help us optimize our digital advertising to ensure we were spending money effectively.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Flycast Media came in and helped us with our PPC strategy, set up campaigns, and manage them for us. They started by doing a review of the account. They looked at all of our campaigns, specifically which keywords were and weren't doing well. They created a new strategy of what keywords to bid on, then optimized our website and landing pages. We'd had some internal issues with reporting to senior management and convincing them of the value of the project. Flycast Media initially sent us their standard reports every month, so we asked them to report on several extra metrics.

What is the team composition?

Their inbound marketing specialist served as our account lead.

How did you come to work with Flycast Media?

Another company within our parent company’s group used them and recommended them to us. We checked them out and asked people in the industry about them. They all said that they're really good at what they do, so it was quite an easy decision.

How much have you invested with them?

I don't remember the exact amount because this project was part of a bigger package. I’d estimate that we spent about £1,000 (approximately $1,300 USD) a month.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project began in 2016. The engagement was still going when I left the company in March 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

While I no longer have access to the specific metrics, I can say that it was a positive partnership. We saw positive impacts across the board. Before working with Flycast Media, we were bidding on a lot of keywords that weren't producing results. They helped us with our strategy by focusing on the keywords that would be most effective. Digital advertising became one of our more effective channels where it previously was a drain on the budget. They delivered good results.

How did Flycast Media perform from a project management standpoint?

The team was great. They always delivered when they said they would. If anything, they were chasing me for things. We never had any issues. They tried their best to deliver whatever we asked them to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

A lot of marketing agencies say that they can deliver PPC results. With Flycast Media, they really specialize in that area. We really needed their expertise because the cloud market is so competitive. They really excelled at identifying the keywords that we needed to bid on, which prevented us from wasting our budget on things that weren't worth investing in.
