Our previous developer had given us a tough time so we decided to move the project from them and handed over to Fleapo, at first the Fleapo team guided us with regards to the technical nuances and assured us the project delivery timelines which gave us a clear path. Their team worked very efficiently and delivered the project on time and build a great website that is being loved by most of our customers.

Seeing incremental progress on demos and being able to maintain an actively updated staging and production branch signaled success.

Fleapo is very well organized, and being invited to the Trello board helps a lot with monitoring deliverables. Items are usually delivered on time or ahead of time, and if not, we are notified with good time.

I find the adaptability to new challenges impressive. Some of the features we are asking for are out of the scope of the devs, but they are very willing to research scalable solutions.

Nothing major as such.  More detailed documentation could have streamlined the process. Other than that everything was good.

We had tried to make our website in house and succeeded to a certain extent. However the design wasn't very children friendly. Since most of our visitors were school students, we wanted the website to be designed specifically for them.

We had noticed that Fleapo had already worked on Bhutan's first Edtech project and hence were moved to check the portfolio out. As we connected to Belal from their team, we got to know about the different projects across countries that they had worked on. This became the major deciding factor for us.

The project involved designing the flow of educational content for all subjects across different standards of K-12,including teacher assistance and automated quizzes /tests.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We integrated a star rating system on our flow to understand how the students feel about the content, the flow, the ease of access etc in fun ways using game like questions. We saw a jump in the ratings after we published the new design.

It was pretty smooth and our intervention after the briefs for every sprint was rather limited. We were quite happy with the service to say the least.

Very young team, but incredibly sound at what they do. Quite professional. They were particular about scheduling and punctual with the timelines and never exceeded any buffers.

Not really an expert in the field so not much to add here. We were pretty satisfied with the service.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fleapo Corporation?

We needed someone to develop our website. Our main goal was to focus on the product page according to various categories. It’d be about the company, our presence, and what regulations and certifications we comply with.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fleapo built some of the data for the website from scratch, but 30% of the write-up was from the old website. The homepage showed the primary industries or applications of our products. 

To jumpstart the project, we first described our business model, what we do, and what we wanted to showcase on the website. Once the requirements were set up, we started making some template designs. Fleapo gave them to us, and we selected one. Then, they provided us with a draft, and we made many changes. This happened many times, and once everything was finalized, we made it live.

What is the team composition?

We didn’t know how many people were on the team, but one technical person communicated with us. We also had contact with two people from the management team.

How did you come to work with Fleapo Corporation?

We shortlisted 5–7 local companies within our city based on Google reviews. We then looked at their website, portfolios, the work they’d done, and what companies they’d worked with. That helped us to shortlist three companies, and we spoke to all of them.

One quoted us an absurd amount, so it came down to two companies, and we chose Fleapo Corporation.

We spent 30,000 Indian Rupees (approximately $400 USD).

We worked together from May–October 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website went live just a month ago, so it’s difficult to say if the traffic has increased. However, the site is much more vibrant and bright, the products are displayed beautifully, and the values and principles of the company are very focused.

How did Fleapo Corporation perform from a project management standpoint?

They were really helpful. We made numerous changes, and they weren’t hesitant — the team readily accepted all the changes we wanted. We communicated via group chats and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Apart from the project manager, their designer also communicated with us. It was really helpful because we didn’t have to go through a middleman.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Each update took a bit of time. We didn’t have a problem with it, but other companies might want to finish more quickly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to revamp their website or do mobile application development. They’re very creative, and their ideas aren’t limited to a particular industry. I’ve seen the websites they’ve developed for other companies, and they’ve worked for various industries.
