I just got a prototype from this company. It cost me $6,000. Im very disappointed in the lack of professionalism when it comes to the complete design. Misspelled words, subpar UI/UX, 1 modification that still wasnt corrected. I gave up asking for corrections so I will have to pay someone else to correct what shouldve been corrected in the $6,000 I already spent.

1. They are VERY nice people and Im sure they mean well, but they are NOT a company I would suggest to others to get their development done. The experience doesnt match their costs. I believe the location of the PM ( Jack the one that gave the company a 5 star review) is in the US, but Im pretty sure the people working on the project are overseas. Which is fine but IF you disclose that, that wasnt disclosed.
2. I couldve gotten the same thing from Fivver or Upwork for half the cost I was charged. I would suggest that over this company any day. 
3. IF you decide to still use them, make sure you DO NOT PAY until you get all of the edits and corrections done. You will get very limited modifications, if any and once they have your money, they basically dont care about delivering a corrected project.
4. If you have few thousand to throw away, this company is GREAT....if you want to get a finished product that you can actually use, I would NOT use this company. Again, great people. The communication is decent; they were just not experienced enough for what they charged.

We has our first meeting to discuss the goals and outline a game plan. We then were updated every step of the way. They were always responsive. We hit them with every question you can imagine, they were always patient and answered them all! They hit every deadline.

A Project manager was the main point of contact and we had contact with 2 or 3 others throughout the process!

We launched our site and the feedback was amazing. Everyone loved it. The Minting site worked perfectly with no issues whatsoever.

I've been in business for over 15 years, and I never worked with a better project manager. Literally he checked all the boxes in which I am looking for in a project manager.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everything! Their knowledge, patience, organizational skills, creativeness and ability to put our asks into action.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, nothing. So confident in them we are already working on another project!

I opened the process up to several app developers and Finally Free Productions stood out because they were very upfront with the scope of work necessary and the fact that it wouldn't be an easy fix. Most companies were promising me a quick turnaround and a very cheap price, but Finally Free Productions took the time to go through the process with me.

We've spent the last several months developing the prototype for the app and are now engaged in working on version one of the app.

I have primarily worked with Nick Bennett during the prototype process. Nick is very engaged and very thorough in making sure all questions/concerns are addressed before moving on to the next step.

We are still in the development process of the app but I'm confident it will be successful.

Very engaged with weekly meetings with any necessary follow-up calls or communications held in between. I've never felt like anyone, particularly Nick, were not engaged at any step along the way.

This is my first time working with an app developer and I'm happy with my choice. I'm impressed with the level of their engagement. I've never felt like I'm on an island during the process. The team is fully engaged.

I can't think of any.

We were looking for an interactive design for our new app. We are so happy with the final designs that FFP delivered. The entire process of working with the design team at FFP was seamless. We got to interact directly with the designers and the overall experience was amazing to work as a team towards a mutual goal that is to get an awesome functional design. The team was flexible with changes and readily available for any discussion.

The team also contributed to our discussions with their feedback. We are so happy to have found an extended team in FFP. The team is very professional with a quick turn around time. We searched online for the best UX/UI developers and shortlisted many. After interviewing all of them, we shortlisted FFP based on the previous work that they have done. And, We are so glad we choose them.

The team spent good amount of time to understand the project before jumping into it. Once they understood the requirement, they were very quick to deliver the expected design. They broke the main goal into workable modules and worked towards them delivering quality in time.

We worked with a Project Manager who was super responsive. We also worked with the Design lead.

We're pleased with the deliverables from their team. We started with the design and now looking forward to start working on the development on this project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager, Jack Spataro, was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We had both in-person and meetings and phone calls, but most of the feedback was through email. Everything was delivered on time and we were given ample warning if a deadline wasn't going to be met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They knew everything from in-depth research to perfect execution. They were also patient and willing to walk us through their process while we learnt.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't see any major areas of improvement. A very small one is that the designer could have been involved right at the discovery stage. We can all be more involved in the development stage for quick turn arounds and lesser iterations.

What challenge were you trying to address with Finally Free Productions?

With Finally Free Productions, I have been building an application for consumer social media.

What was the scope of their involvement?

First of all, there was a phase where we reviewed and searched through millions of apps to try to figure out if the idea that we're proposing, is being used by any other product and if the application is currently available. Finally Free Productions were very willing and upfront in helping me out, trying to figure out whether there was a similar application process, and we were lucky that there was nothing similar to what we're proposing at this time. Later on, I was told about different phases of the application, including the initial PDF formats of the application which have been formulated over different forms. 

There was significant back and forth communication about three drafts that will be created and finalized — so far, there are four different screenshots and different web pages that the product will bring up or utilize during its run. Finally Free Productions have been very, very clear and they have completed everything that was asked for and they promised in a very timely manner.

Their communication is very strong, they are flexible, and they’re able to accommodate my questions and suggestions, including last-minute changes. I just felt that my idea would flourish, and they worked on it as if this was their own idea — they attempted to bring everything into real life.

The purpose of the app is social interaction and the key features are improving social interactions. There are questions that we have through the review of our personal interactions in social gatherings and in social media — and we’ve created this product based on those.

We will build this app on both iOS and Android platforms, but we'll build it first on the iOS platform. We had an option to build it for both, but we tried to shy away from a hybrid product that may not have similar functionality, as compared to a pure iOS or Android product.

We provided documentation and wireframes to get started with the project and Finally Free Productions are able to immensely help with that — they also did extensive research and discovery for the project initially. The app is currently in development and it will be finished soon. It’s going to be a good product and it will more than likely dominate the social media mix in our current assessment.

What is the team composition?

Nick (UI/UX Designer & Project Consultant) is our main point of contact, which is very helpful because he's immediately accessible for any questions. I have also spoken to their designer and two team members from their team. There have been additional team members that have been working on the project, but these two people are the designer and communication coordinator.

How did you come to work with Finally Free Productions?

I browsed on the internet for different app development companies and went through reviews for a few of them. I received codes from a couple of them and had given them my ideas. I favored Finally Free Productions’ timely communication and their immense interest in the product, so I chose to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, I’ve invested $4,000, and I'm promising to give up to $40,000 to finish the product. An additional build for Android will also cost an additional $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2021, and this is still an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

First of all, their designers are great. They can help polish your own idea, and actually show you a better product than what you’d expect in terms of color schemes, app building, or technical aspects. The partnership is a mutual collaboration and they’re adding more to the app. 

The second thing I'll say is that they set a timeline and stick to it. The three adobe PDF formats that we’ve done so far were done on schedule, and they were able to accommodate any last-minute changes and ideas that I brought to their attention.

How did Finally Free Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

Excellent. We mostly communicate via phone calls and review data one by one after we receive emails. In some cases, we communicate through virtual meetings using Google.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their timely communication, and their fair and realistic assessment. We also like their accommodation in terms of what the consumer wants.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They have done everything that I ever asked them to do. I just wish they could reduce the cost somehow.

Any advice for potential customers?

It's an excellent company and I suggest you don't think too much before working with them. They're very motivated people and they’re very efficient in communication and coordination. They will brighten up your ideas and build the product in a manner that you will love — they’re a great company with great people who are focused on their consumers all the time.

I have a 2–3 hour time difference with them, but they're still available for us on Saturday evenings. Most of our conversations happen after work hours, and we can reach them any time — that speaks to the quality of work that they perform. Go ahead and sign up and you will not regret it.

I’m the CEO of TaskMaster, the ultimate service app. Our business model is similar to food delivery services, except we come to complete tasks and services.

I worked with Finally Free Productions to create our app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Finally Free Productions has created our iOS and Android apps, and they’re also taking care of the apps’ updates. In terms of the app’s functionality, it sends push notifications to our workers to let them know about the tasks nearby. Then, they can either accept or deny doing tasks. If they accept the task, the app will guide them to the task’s location through GPS. These can also be scheduled, allowing workers to bid. If a customer wants someone to walk their dog, our workers can bid on it. A rating system is available for both the workers and the task supplier. 

After completing the prototype, Finally free Productions is now helping me through a crowdfunding process to see what I can get from people who believe in my idea. 

For this project, I initially gave them a general idea of what I wanted the app to look like, including ideas on its color scheme. Then, they gave me a first draft where I could comment about what I liked and didn’t like. After submitting the second and third drafts, they finally executed the development of the app’s prototype.

I mainly work with Nick (UI/UX Designer & Project Consultant), who handles the customer service. He is the middleman between me and the people who do the coding.

I searched on Google for app creators and looked at the websites that it yielded. I checked all of them for what they could offer, but Finally Free Productions stood out to me because I received a personal call from Nick. He was the only person who called me out of the whole list. As a result, I decided to go with Finally Free Productions.

So far, I’ve invested around $7,000.

We began the project at the end of March 2021, and it’s ongoing.

While the process is ongoing, we’ve completed a highly successful prototype, which presents what can and cannot be done on the app. 

How did Finally Free Productions perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is wonderful, and they’re very hands-on with me. I speak to Nick at least once a week to discuss everything that we have coming up with TaskMaster. They work with me as a group and I feel comfortable with them. They do a great job all around in terms of how they explain and break everything down. To communicate, we use emails, Google Meet, and Adobe tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Finally Free Productions’ hands-on approach to the project is impressive. I can call them even on holidays, such as when I called Nick on Memorial Day and he answered the phone to listen to my concerns.

Overall, their customer service is the best; the fact that I have access to them at any time proves that. We still have boundaries, but they make me feel comfortable enough to ask them anything. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. We’ve had a problem with our contract per our lawyer, but they’ve fixed it instantly. Overall, I trust them like good neighbors. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Use Nick as your customer service representative. He’s a wonderful person and has been like that throughout the whole process. I can call him anytime and ask him anything about the app. On top of that, he makes wonderful suggestions.

SafeZone Inc. Many of our youth are battling addictions and living with disabilities. There are very few outlets where our youth (students) can be vulnerable and receive community support.

SafeZone is an app that allows students ranging from 13-28+ to have an outlet to vent and find community support. There will be experts on the app who are not students who also will be giving support to users but cannot receive support.

We are very much built on the peer support concept. SafeZone will be in stores mid-October and the rest is to be seen then!

Extremely effective! Finally Free Productions worked with my team and even guided us at times.

They have the most reasonable prices in the business but yet put in an extreme amount of effort.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Finally Free Productions is a pretty well ran company. I do feel they would benefit from creating an app where their customers can create a draft of their prototypes which will save both parties more time.

How did you select this vendor?

Finally Free Productions is a fairly priced developer within the United States. We could tell that the team was very interested in our work as we kept in touch over several months. Finally Free is more than just a developer, they are trainers within the start-up world, and they guided us every step of the way.

Once we contacted Finally Free Productions, they wanted to ensure us our ideas and work were safe. We signed an NDA and started talking in terms of how development works. Through January to June, Finally Free Productions guided us on how to build our app with them, as well as telling us all of the ins and outs of the industry.

Once our team was able to make the first payment on development in June, Finally Free Productions began developing our app. We communicate with Finally Free many times each week, and we are extremely satisfied with the help, work, and guidance they have provided us with.

What was the team composition?

Initially, we were assigned project manager and spokesman, Horton, who communicated to us the entire time. He often brought in the Tech Lead to help answer our questions which he felt were best coming from him, Sage. With the two of them, we never had an unanswered question. We still work with the two daily.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

First, our team is extremely grateful for Finally Free Productions guiding us on our journey for several months. The company stuck with us through ups and downs from our own company, and we can truly say that the team at Finally Free Productions cares about our success.

We are extremely excited about our upcoming development of our app which began in June of 2020. We know with Finally Free Production’s great communication skills, that our app will be just as we imagined.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was amazing given the fact that we communicated strictly over video call and phone call. Our company is based out of Texas, and yet the distance played no negative affect on the workflow and effectiveness in our progress.

Finally Free Productions was always very good at keeping in touch with us, even when we failed to do so at times. They are very professional and work on a very tight, and orderly schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We found it very impressive that Finally Free Productions has been able to keep amazing communication over the past several months (Feb 2020 - June 2020). Despite the pandemic, distance, and time constraints, Finally Free Productions has kept us, the customer, at top priority, and it really shows. This team is here for us, and is willing to fight for us. They truly care about our success within our journey.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Communication skills will always be difficult when there is a time and distance constraint. However, we are still please in the fact that Finally Free Production has bee able to maintain constant communication during the past few months.

I wanted to see my vision of creating a platform that provides entrepreneurial and occupational opportunities to individuals who embody the basketball fashion lifestyle become a reality in terms of a live functional mobile app platform.

My team search online and found a app developer who saw my vision as clearly as I did and was able diagnose exactly what I was looking for related to building an platform that allows users to create, score and post basketball fashion looks and blogs.

My first introduction to the FFP team was via phone conversation where I Introduced myself and my company. After that conversation, I knew this was the company I wanted to build my app. After having a second conversation to give all the details of my project, I received a prototype of the Hoopplex iOS App with in one month which was spot one in relation to the mock-up that I sent to Team FFP.

What was the team composition?

Initially, I was dealing directly with the management at FFP which made me feel extremely comfortable. As the project proceeded, I was assigned a project manager who has been very accessible throughout the entire process of building the app.

The FFP team did an excellent job of taking my vision and first producing a working prototype and secondly making all the additions needed to the prototype for the actual Hoopplex App.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between Team FFP and Team HX was excellent. I never had any issues to complain about. My project manager was been extremely helpful with explaining the in's and out's of building a app and also very accessible. Throughout the entire process of building my app, my project manager has never missed a scheduled call between the two of us.

This consistency was huge for me because I walked into this project completely blind in terms of app development, but Team FFP helped ease any fears that I had in terms of investing capital into a project that I had no experience in.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The accessibility of the Team FFP. The patience of Team FFP. They talked with me as if we had known each other all our lives. They really made me feel comfortable about using their services for me project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is always room for improvement, but to brutally honest Team FFP did a great job with developing my iOS app. I think this company understands any areas of improvement needed and will take the necessary steps to make those improvements.
