To develop a purpose built ecommerce marketplace that was technically innovative yet functionally robust and easy to use form a consumer standpoint. To build out and develop a product that is not relevant in today's market , but continues to be relevant t by its uniqueness and start of the art design and innovative technology.

Fatbit Technologies designed and integrated a purpose built state of the art system for BottleSales that is leading the curve in ecommerce here in Australia.

The team was large and verified and very competent in their skill sets . The team really did step up and deliver in particular when BottleSales wanted to push the enveloping in developing a leading edge platform that could scale to deployed into international markets. Many thanks to Gursimran Singh and his team , they did an amazing job.

It is a unique platform for students to get academic supports from local, national, and international community experts outside of traditional school or colleges. The experience and qualification of our community experts help students solve their problems in both a logical and practical way.

My position with Studydraft is CTO (Cheif Technical Officer). I am responsible for all Technical decisions, development, and implementation of the company.

After months of research and thorough screening of other service providers, I found that FatBit Technology is a perfect fit for our project. After reviewing their portfolio, experience in the industry, and multiple discussion sessions, we discovered that they are the best match to develop studydraft.com web platform.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals are to make a reliable and user-friendly platform for students and tutors with many built-in functionalities. We required to have multiple modules such as order, student & tutor sign-in, tutor registration, payment, reviews & ratings, bidding, privacy, etc.

We also required search functionality where a student can search tutors by their subject expertise, experience, number of orders completed, and reviews. We were looking for a dynamic admin panel so that it is easy to update to any CMS (tags, title, description) and also addition or deletion of contents or pages on the website.

After hours or research, multiple vendor interviews, and portfolio review, we came across a blog posted by FatBit Technologies about student-tutor marketplace platform. We were also looking for the same platform with little different or added features.

After reviewing their post, business model, and features, we decided to contact them for further discussion. Our technical and business development team conducted screening, analysis, and interview session with the vendor to understand their capabilities and strength for this project.

We received multiple services from FatBit Technologies. Our first relationship with vendor started with a web development project in July 2019. In this service, they provided a complete website with all required design, Implementation (module, functionalities & features) and Integration (Third Party API & JavaScript).

They also offered a test URL upon project completion to test all module, features, and requirements before they transferred content to our live server. They have a dedicated team of Quality Analyst and UAT who test the website and provide a complete report to the development team for correction if required before releasing it to the client.

The development team helped us in choosing and setting up VPS with all technical specifications and also installed an SSL certificate on our server and domain. They also provided recommendation for design, functionalities, and features which can be very helpful for the website or user experience.

The second service we purchased from the vendor is SEO Marketing and SMM management in August 2019. In this service, we received SEO marketing & strategy, on-page optimization, off-page optimization, blog post and article optimization, press release, and social media management and optimization.

They also provided us focused keywords which are a crucial part of the SEO marketing and rankings on a search engine. The marketing team did thorough research before selecting or suggesting keywords.

We are in process to purchase some additional services from the vendor as per our business need, and it will complete in next week or two.

Initially, I started a conversation with Piyush Mankotia (Sales Person) to purchase our first web development service. For the rest of the project, he will be our point of contact for all sales-related queries or concern.

For the web development project, Dilsheen Dhoat was our Project Manager, and Purnima Dhawan was a Technical Specialist. For my Marketing services, Ankush Mahajan is assigned for SEO Marketing & Social Media Management, and Manoj Kumar is handling Social Media Optimization.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As being a student and working part-time or full-time is a challenging task. It required much attention, time management, and commitment to study, along with work. It also impacts the social life of many students as they can not spend quality time with friends, family or siblings.

Sometimes, international students came from non-English speaking countries may feel shy to ask a question or queries in the class. The main idea for developing this platform is to give a reliable platform where a student can find quality help without any hesitation and also helps them improve their social life without worrying about their academics.

Most of our tutors excel in their subjects or experience and help the student to understand any situation with real practical examples.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We have no words for this team as they work so delicately on the project to complete it within the decided timeline with the highest quality. The entire project handled very effectively and the communication established through SkyPe, email, and other project management tools. We used Google Drive for document sharing and editing or providing comments.

FatBit has its project management tool called BIZixx, and all project was listed and managed from there. All project-related work progress, assigned resources for each task, and communication from all team members can be viewed on this platform. For payments, we used PayPal, CreditCard, and Wire-transfer methods.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We found many things which are most impressive about this company. People working in this company make its reputation more reliable and remarkable in this competitive market. Each member of the project team worked hard in the entire process and provided excellent quality work.

I remember those days when we identified some additional changes in the design. These changes were neither discussed before nor included in the design. When we proposed these changes, which required extra efforts, Project Management and Development Team agreed to implement without any concern or hesitation.

They worked hard and put in overtime to implement these changes without affecting any timelines. Team also performed a few script level changes which were not in the original agreement without any extra charge.

Project Manager/Technical Specialist were in touch daily either by Skype or emailed to provide a status report. A few days back when we were near the launching date, Dilsheen used to work till midnight to make sure everything is going smooth.

Piyush (from sales team) was available till late night for any queries related to payment or purchasing new services. Ankush (from marketing) team is available till late night to discuss any marketing strategies or planning.

Sales and Management team never recommended any services or items which is not required or useful for the website. They suggested only what is needed, helpful, and can get good ROI.

Their ethics and values are impressive and would love to continue working with them. They keep customer satisfaction above anything else and vision to maintain a long-term relationship with the client.

Overall, it was an exceptional team effort, quality and within our budget.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only area of development I can think about is the time-zone difference.  It would be nice if they open an office in the US so that it could be easy to manage North America clients.

However, during the entire project tenure, I did not find any communication issue as they were able to schedule a call or meeting as per US time even though it’s a late night for them.

WeYakyak is a platform that brings together students and teachers to learn or teach foreign languages. It's like UBER for TEACHERS. Each Teacher is vetted for professional skills and can build an impressive profile with video introductions. Teachers can be selected by students with the "find a teacher" link. My position with Weyakyak is CEO and founder. I am also currently a teacher on my own site and help my new teachers onboard to the platform through help videos and live lesson reviews to introduce them to this amazing web site.

I hired FatBit because they were the only company I found that I trusted to build a site as comprensive as Weyakyak.com We wanted a website that would deliver a platform for online language teachers around the world to use, connecting them with students.

What were your goals for this project?

My goals for the website had a list of many functions that required detailed coding. Within one site we wanted a community where teachers could have a dashboard to build a profile, show a video introduction, list their credentials, book online lessons, build a list of students, upload lesson plans, flashcards, text pads, private messaging, video platform for teaching and screen sharing. And at the end of the day get paid for classes through a cash out system.

After nine hours of research I found an article FatBit published. I was impressed with their knowledge. After reading extensively over their web page I believed they were the best fit for what I was looking for and what I wanted.

The project began in Feb. 2018 with a long list of expectations. At the time of contact I was living in Ecuador and I began relations with Kesa my project manager who put me in contact with Aditya G. these two people came together with me and wrote me up a contract with everything I had listed (which seemed far fetched to me at the time).

After signing contracts with them, the work began. Little did I know was that this was a HUGE project. We encountered many challenges along the way. My frustration as a new CEO of the unknown taught me to endure patience as we traveled through months of hard work together. In the end, my team at FatBit built me the most comprehensive website, provided step by step instruction, late night skype calls, web updates and fixing anything and everything until it was perfect. They provide EVERYTHING I expected and more. I never dreamed high enough for what they delivered. It's Amazing.

I had three people that I know of working on my site, and others behind the scenes I have never met yet. First I met Kesa who managed and helped every issue assuring me things were moving forward. Aditya was my main developer who designed and programmed my dreams into reality. Piyush fixed issues and added amazing details as the site was launching. I can't say enough words about this team of people who has brought Weyakyak to life and to the world of teachers.

Weyakyak was only a dream come true. It took hard work, courage and tenacity to keep moving forward. The impact of Weyakyak on teachers lives is amazing. So many language sites out there have demands that do not fit a teachers schedule, family life or income. This is a site where the teacher and Student have control of their schedules and incomes. It impacts countries where work pays little to nothing in wages. Teachers here can set their own pay rates and begin to build a career through an amazing service of teaching online.

The project was managed through skype calls, emails and an app to see the details of project progress. FatBit arranged 3 payments over the months of developement that paid out after stages of completion.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The FatBit team was constantly on top of this project and it's timeline. They were diligent in delivering outstanding service and valued our relationship every step of the way. I felt like my project, expectations and needs were always top priority.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The hardest part of working with FatBit was our global time differences. It was a lot of work on both sides that involved late night and early morning hours for communication. Email contact was ok, but I prefer to have verbal or video contact because it conveys the message better in person. Overall, we got the job done!
