What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The speed of the site, its customization range, its error-free, smooth handling, and price. 

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

My experience with FATbit Technologies and their product Yo!Kart has been extremely disappointing.
I’ve spent over $70,000 on this project, and to this day, it’s still not functioning properly due to endless technical problems and unprofessional service.

Every single thing they do costs extra — even the smallest updates. When I purchased the system, they promised that mobile app setup was included in the contract, but later I was surprised to learn I had to pay an additional $700 just to “update the system” so that the apps could even work.

The website speed is terribly slow. I’ve tried every possible way to optimize it with no success. Their technical team is unresponsive and inconsistent — they take days or weeks to reply, and when they finally do, they fix one minor issue while leaving all others unresolved (and often the fix is incorrect).

I strongly believe they intentionally delay responses just to let the warranty expire, so they can charge me again for support.

They even tried to make me pay for issues that were completely their fault — like the Shopify API integration, which they mishandled multiple times, causing my site to go down repeatedly. After all this, they admitted it was their API problem but still expected me to pay for it.

To make things worse, I later discovered I don’t own the source code — only a license to use it, despite being told I’d fully own the system.

They also claimed that the package included Facebook/Google login setup and digital marketing consultation, but after nearly a year, I never received a single piece of marketing advice or support — nothing was ever delivered as promised.

The system itself has many missing features compared to what was advertised. Even after updates, the platform remains buggy, slow, and unstable.

Their entire business model seems focused on charging clients for every small fix or modification, even when it’s clearly part of the original setup.

⚠️ In short: FATbit Technologies / Yo!Kart is unreliable, slow, and misleading in their promises. If you’re thinking about working with them — don’t. You’ll end up wasting time, money, and energy just like I did.

We had a first meeting to discuss our needs and our goals, from there the FATbit Business Analyst introduced us to their solutions and shared with us the demo's link in order to try the solutions live. after the test, we sent a list of customizations and modifications request, after validation everything was done quickly,

The project manager Mss. Akshita and the Business analyst Mr. Arshdeep was our main point of contact throughout the process

Even though the projects are quite new, the e-learning platform was launched in September 2022 and the B2C e-commerce marketplace will be officially launched in November 2022, but the first results and comment are more than we expected.

The first phase of development and deployment was followed on the BIZixx project management system, after that we had daily communication on WhatsApp

We were looking for a marketplace software (multi vendor) and after researching many different companies, chose Fatbits hornet product. We needed to find a platform which had many functionalities pre-built as we have no tech co-founder.

We selected Fatbit after comparing them to other marketplace software providers. We also had a demo of the product and had meetings with the sales teams to ensure the product met our requirements.

Fatbit helped to install the yorent product on our servers. They have a professional approach, you get assigned a project manager and can track progress on Bizx. The team were available on Skype for messaging to help us configure the platform.

As part of the go quick package we received 12 months free customer service support. They provided software guide, so we use this to understand how to configure the platform. The technology is rich, many API's for other technologies such as SMS, Google maps, Payment integrations etc.

We initially engaged Sales team. Once we made the purchase, we were assigned project managers who help us on day to day to handle queries and issues. They feel like part of our own tech team. They also had a product manager & business analyst as well as inviting the tech developer when required.

We managed to install the platform in a week after purchase. Configuration does take a while but following the product guidebook it is easy to do. Ultimately, we achieved our goal of having our own marketplace and access to its source code.

Communication is over Skype - the team are available to meet and discuss any issues and helps us overcome any bugs.

I believe they are trusted company with a professional approach to their clients. They were always ready to meet all the discussed requirements.

I believe they should review their costings for additional customisation. After the initial installation, request for additional feature pricing seemed excessive.

The project was managed successfully using different ways of communication. Using google chat with all the people involved in one group was very efficient and time saving.

They saved us a lot of time and efforts since they were having most of the needed features built in to the platform.

Involving the programmer in the meetings with the project manager because sometimes the programmer might be able to bring a different solutions or recommendations for any needed feature or to solve a problem.

We needed someone to build an e-commerce website for us.

FATbit Technologies designed and developed our e-commerce website. We worked closely with the team on formulating the content, which they then uploaded to the site. 

They then created product listings and integrated our desired payment system. Additionally, the team helped us design and implement a charity donation option during the checkout process.

I researched several companies. The more I learned about FATbit Technologies, the more I wanted to work with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from April–October 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we only launched a few days ago, we don’t have any analytics yet. However, we received a lot of positive feedback. Both vendors and customers were interested in the website, and our partner charity was happy to endorse our store as well.

How did FATbit Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with FATbit Technologies was a fantastic experience — they were trustworthy, reliable, and quick to respond to questions and concerns. We communicated through email.

I appreciated how timely FATbit Technologies was when it came to addressing my concerns. The team showed a lot of promise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could’ve completed the project sooner, but they were transparent about being very busy, so I understood.

Definitely give them a shot, especially if you’re looking for an e-commerce specialist.

Goals and objective settings meetings were done and a framework and scope of work was agreed. The team delivered program mock-ups for the site, the concept which the management approved. After various iterations, their team designed and development the new site, incorporating a contact form and payment processing system.

A project manager was our main point person throughout the process. There were also 2 backend developers and a designer working behind the scenes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the site, we saw an increase I traffic and our sales within the one week are starting to show growth. The customers are finding the new design experience interactive right to the checkout point.

We had regular meeting with their managers who would communicate with the rest of the team. Performance issues were communicated to us in advance. We used Teams, Whatsapp and google meet in most instances for coordination, they worked well with our team.

They demonstrated extensive experience building the c-commerce website. They were also very patient enough to teach us about how to use Shopify, and they were responsive to our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had interactive communication from the onset of the project despite operating from different time zones. We managed to execute our sessions by scheduling our stand-ups during our mornings and their afternoon.

ometimes the time difference can be a problem and definitely slows down the processes. FATBit's support staff will assist us whatever time it is.

We hired FATbit Technologies for providing us with a software that would allow us to do our daily business. In this case, it is a web application where customers can buy local products and a mobile application for our delivery staff.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals were to develop a platform that will enable local community to order fresh food from the local farms on a daily basis. The customers would after selecting their products decide about the delivery location, time and date. The last step in the process would be the delivery of the purchased products.

After examining the offers on the market, we decided that FATbit Technologies are the best matching software provider for our use case.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a series of introductory meetings, where were presented with the software in more detail. We were given a demo server to test the software out, in order to make an informed decision on whether this software is the right choice for us.

FATbit team supported and helped us as project was evolving. There were some change requests to be done, which were done in a timely manner. Also, the FATbit team was very reponsive whenever we had questions or doubts. Finally, we were able to launch the application, which was also a very smooth process.

We were assinged a project manager who coordinated our project and was our most common point of contact. We didn't know the exact structure of the development team that was working behind the scenes, but that wasn't required as tasks were done on time

We manager to launch the web application within four months, although there were many specific requirements that were required for our region, including a specfic payment gateway and integration with other third party software for tax purposes

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager we were assigned to was talking with us on a daily basis. She was very approachable and responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. For our communication we used Skype.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We liked the fact that the web application has an amazing admin interface that allowed us to modify most of our website without the need for redeployment or any other action from the FATbit team.

Also, we were impressed with the large amount of third party integrations that were available per default. It is worth mentioning that FATbit team helped us every step of the way and even weekend work was done when deadlines were tight. Some of the change requests were done free of charge and that is something we appreciated very much

Are there any areas for improvement?

If we could change something, that would be that the FATbit team provides a comprehensive user manual for the web application. The application itself is quite complex and has a lot of feature, so a detailed manual would definitely help, especially for someone who is seeing this software for the first time. Another thing that we would slightly improve is quality assurance on the deliverables

First we started with the basic platform for a quickstart. After checking the market we then decided to improve the platform operations and customer experience, by adding different parameters to the commission and transport; and other customizations like to improve the customer experience as per their feedback. Also we added some features such as google maps.

Aditya was our main contact, he was very helpful all the time and always supporting us when we had any issue with the web.

At some point, the changes made with the website didn’t have much effect on the customers. I do not mean that it is their fault. It could also be reflective of my customer’s knowledge with the technical stuff. This doesn’t mean the end for us as there will be more great changes in the website and we will still continue to work with them.

The communication with our main contact - Aditya is okay. He is cooperative and always there to answer our inquiries and concerns. Just that, sometimes the communication between parties like technical support team - developers or other department are taking so long so it's delaying the project at some point.

There were minor bugs that was solved late but still I am happy that they fixed everything.

They provided the growcer website template and helped us customize it by closely working with us and reviewing our requirements and providing excellent support throughout.

Even through the COVID-19 pandemic, Jaspreet, Aditya, and team were there to support us. They dealt with feature creep for a very reasonable cost and quickly implemented the changes we needed.

What was the team composition?

The project team had only a few people, but brought in other support experts as needed. They did a great job communicating status throughout and checking back in with us if anything was needed.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

During the pandemic, it's become critical that customers are able to interact with us online. Without this, it would've cost us a whole lot more in both money and time to get where we needed to be.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They used project management software as well as regular emails to check in. Highly effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Aditya and the team were really responsive with software development and worked really hard to meet our deadlines, which were aggressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

My suggestions would be to be more thorough with their documentation for the end user, developers, and admins. The developers and team there did a great job answering questions, but they need to improve documentation so we don't need to ask as many questions in the first place.
