Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We designed and implemented a web-based intranet system for a leading Sri Lankan bank, built on .NET, to automate SLA management and branch audit tracking. The scope covered end-to-end digitization of audit processes across all branches, from recording audit findings to monitoring the follow-up of each raised item until closure.

Key deliverables included:

• Configurable multi-level approval workflows for every audit item and related tasks
• Automated escalation when approvals exceeded defined SLAs
• A real-time management dashboard
• Automated monthly reporting
• AI-driven features that tracked upcoming audits and generated executive reports for top management, improving visibility and user experience

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Faster audit closure: The average time to resolve and close audit findings fell by about 40%. Automated workflows and SLA-based escalations removed manual follow-ups and approval bottlenecks.
• Improved SLA compliance: On-time approval rates rose from roughly 65% to over 90% within six months, because automated alerts and escalation to higher authorities ensured no item was left pending.
• Reduced reporting effort: Monthly management reports, previously compiled manually over several days, were generated automatically. This saved an estimated 80% of reporting effort and gave top management real-time visibility of upcoming audits and outstanding issues.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

• Structured project management: The team followed a clear, phased approach with defined milestones, regular progress meetings and transparent status reporting. Every stakeholder, from branch users to senior management, stayed informed throughout the project.
• On-time delivery: Key deliverables, including the workflow engine, dashboard, escalation module and automated reporting, were delivered within the agreed timelines. Change requests raised during development were managed without affecting the overall schedule.
• Responsive to our needs: The team quickly understood our audit and compliance processes and adapted the system to the bank’s specific requirements. They addressed feedback promptly, provided user training, and gave dependable post-implementation support for a smooth rollout across all branches.

What was your primary form of communication with FACTn Software?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

• Practical use of agentic AI: AI was built into the core of the system rather than added as a feature. Intelligent agents tracked upcoming audits, monitored approvals, triggered escalations and generated executive reports automatically.
• Strong engineering expertise: The team delivered a robust, secure and scalable .NET intranet platform. Its well-designed architecture handled complex multi-level workflows across all branches.
• Deep understanding of banking operations: They quickly understood our audit, compliance and regulatory requirements, and turned complex manual processes into a smooth, automated solution.
• Measurable business impact: The solution improved efficiency, accountability and transparency. Management gained real-time insight for faster, better-informed decisions.

Are there any areas for improvement or something FACTn Software could have done differently?

Honestly, there is nothing significant we would change: FACTn Software delivered beyond our expectations in quality, timeliness, and support.
