Workspace handled a full redesign and rebuild of our Sailweek website. This included modernising the look and feel, improving the overall user experience, creating new layouts for our routes and product pages, and making the site faster and easier for our team to update. They also helped clean up our structure and navigation and made sure everything worked smoothly on mobile.

They now provide ongoing maintenance for us and are currently developing a new booking flow to make the customer journey even smoother.

After the refresh, we saw better engagement across the site - lower bounce rate, longer time on page, and more visitors moving through our routes and booking info. We’ve also had more positive feedback from guests about how clean, modern, and easy the site feels. Even early on, it was clear the new structure made a noticeable difference in how people move through the site

What stood out most is that Workspace genuinely felt like part of our team rather than an outside contractor. They took the time to really understand our business model, how we operate, and what our guests look for. Even when we changed direction or refined ideas along the way, they were patient, flexible, and focused on finding the best solution for us. That level of involvement and understanding is pretty rare and made a huge difference to the final outcome.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Workspace could have done differently?

Honestly, we’ve been really happy with everything so far. If we had to mention anything, it would only be small things that come naturally with any ongoing project — nothing that reflects negatively on their work. They’ve been easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and overall great to work with, so there isn’t anything major we’d say they should have done differently.

We arranged Workspace for the rebuilding the old fashioned web page we used for our Technology Transfer Office. We were searching for more user centric design with easilly explained offerings for different client groups (e.g researchers, SMEs, startups). We also wanted to have add-ons for the newsletter registration and receiving clinets inquires for the services and events. Ivan was of a great help, very professional and efficent and always able to suggest solution that fits our limited budget but also aims in delivering fully changed website with all we have planned. His support also continued after we kicked-off new website and he was very supportive and agile in implementing changes after we startet using the website. Overall, very good collaboration. I would highly recommend Workspace!
