• Website (Webflow) — Anton Lukashchuk built the full BlueNexus site including the Home Page (hero + integrations animations, MCP modals, subscription), For Developers page, Blog with CMS integration, Contact Sales, Careers, and supporting inner pages. The Use Case page remains outstanding; all others are near-complete pending final QA.
• Email Marketing (MailerLite) — Full account setup including Blog Subscribers list, waitlist campaign, and automated blog-to-subscriber pipeline triggered on new Webflow CMS posts. All website forms connected to MailerLite with attribution tracking installed.
• Design Assets — Iryna designed the Welcome Email template and a modular email component library. Daria produced marketing banners in three formats (Instagram feed, Stories, LinkedIn/web). Investor update and client email templates also delivered. All source files in Figma.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

 Prior to engaging Excited, BlueNexus had no production-ready website, no email marketing infrastructure, and no brand design assets. By the end of the engagement we had a fully functional Webflow site across all core pages, a live MailerLite setup with automated blog-to-subscriber delivery, and a complete library of email and social design templates ready for use. The waitlist and blog subscriber forms went live and began capturing leads immediately. From a standing start, the team delivered a professional, brand-consistent digital presence that we're actively using — that's the most meaningful outcome for a startup at our stage.

This wasn't just an agency executing a brief; the team genuinely cared about how users would experience the product and proactively flagged improvements and ideas throughout. That kind of ownership is rare and made a real difference to the quality of the final output.

They also showed us a demonstration of the work they’ve done.

Excited had a good story, and their price was reasonable compared to some of the higher-end companies we looked at. I felt they really wanted the business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Excited has been helping us with UI design. We started from scratch, although I had the initial idea, so I was able to give them documents. The team has helped us along the way. They use Figma for the designs, which is a great tool.

What is the team composition?

I work with three teammates from Excited: Oleksandr, who is the co-founder of the company, and Anastasiia and Natalia, who are designers and the backbone of the design team.

How did you come to work with Excited?

I have a friend who was using them for some services as well, and he recommended Excited to me. I met with Oleksandr and came up with a plan. The pricing structure seemed great, and we had prompt meetings, so we were able to get started quickly. They set me up with a team, and everything has been great since then.

We’ve spent under $30,000 so far. We expect the total spend for the first phase of this project to be around $40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2025, and our relationship is ongoing. We’re expected to wrap up this phase around June 10th, but I would use them again for phase two.

I have a prototype in Figma, and the design looks great. I’m very happy with it. It’s a good design, and I think people will be excited about it when we launch and go live.

How did Excited perform from a project management standpoint?

Excited's project management is very good. They’re on time and on budget. We have meetings twice a week to go over design additions or changes. We use Google Meet for our meetings. I also use Figma and Slack to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

After I met Oleksandr, he was prompt in finding a team available to help me start quickly. Their communication is great as well. All of those things are very important, especially when trying to move forward.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t recognize any areas of improvement. Excited has been great, especially doing remote work.

Reach out to them and see if they’re a good fit for what you want to do. For me, it’s been a great fit. I recommend them, so visit their website and reach out.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Excited has been functioning as a large portion of our design team. We have a different resource for software development. We’ve been working with Excited on designing various parts of our platform. The team has done a full review of what we’ve already built and designed, and we’ve embarked on a deeper scope of work on designing many key areas of the platform.  

Initially, we already had extensive research on the product strategy and got Excited up to speed on what we had done. The team has done their own round of research on our competitive landscape. Excited has audited our MVP and identified new parts of the platform to rebuild. We've overhauled our full design and began expanding the platform, with Excited designing new sections for us using Figma. 

Excited has also done some marketing design, including presentations and our website landing page. The team has also helped us with our brand identity and logo design as well.

We started working with three senior UX designers, including one of the owners. We've added a fourth senior UX designer and then worked with a fifth teammate on the logo and branding design.

How did you come to work with Excited?

We found examples of Excited's work on Dribbble. We set up a call with one of the managers and had a compelling conversation about their expertise and experience. Excited showed us some work examples and explained their structure and how working with them would look. The team gave us a few client names we could speak to, and we talked to two clients that they helped tremendously; both gave positive reviews. 

Between our conversation with them and the peer reviews, Excited had three positive reviews. The structure in which they wanted to work with us seemed like a good fit. We had good confidence in the manager we spoke to. The team seemed smart and capable and had a good breadth of expertise that was applicable to our business needs. We felt good about working with them and began shortly thereafter on a long-term engagement.

How did Excited perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Figma and ClickUp for task management. Excited uses Asana on their end. Early on, when we were looking at timelines and plans, they showed us different information in Asana. We meet with the team three times a week for design reviews, and the calls go very well every time. Excited delivers work on time and on budget.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their expertise and quality of design work are excellent. Excited is very quick to understand our objectives, and the first drafts of their design are very close to what we’re looking for. 

Additionally, Excited's communication is excellent. Although English isn’t their first language, their communication has exceeded our expectations regarding how easy it is to collaborate with them.

I wouldn’t change anything.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Excited has been responsible for our UX/UI design and branding. Initially, we went to them for UX/UI design, but they understood the concept so well that they proposed to cover the branding. They gave us a few examples, and it was much better than what we’d seen in the market. 

For the process, we’ve done standard procedures, such as understanding the concept, brainstorming, conducting market research, creating mood boards, and doing multiple iterations until we reach the final product. They then hand over the designs to the developers. As for the key technologies, the team mainly uses Figma for the designs and Webflow for the implementation.

What is the team composition?

We work with around four people, including the co-founder, who is my main point of contact, and a creative designer.

This is the second time we’re working with Excited; my previous company was also designed by them. The first time, we met them through a referral.

We’re impressed with how they engage with the project. Excited works as if they’re part of our team. They’re passionate about the project and do more than what’s asked. We appreciate their commitment, which is unexpected.

There are a few things here and there, but nothing I’d highlight as a major area for improvement. They should probably do better in marketing because their work is good, and more people should hear about them.

Know exactly what you’re looking for. Excited isn’t cheap, so try to be ready to engage with them. Focus more on the output rather than the brainstorming, which can end up being costly.

We needed help to build our corporate website. We had a very rudimentary site before and wanted to have something that reflected our value proposition and raised brand awareness.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Excited designed and developed our corporate website using Figma and Webflow. Initially, they scheduled a kick-off meeting, during which we provided them with all the needed materials, including the copy. We created a dedicated space in Notion where we detailed our request and provided examples. Excited proposed a couple of directions in the design via Figma, and we went into detail as we validated the direction. The website included 2D and 3D animations.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Excited’s founder and president, a project manager, a lead designer, two animators, and two programmers.

How did you come to work with Excited?

We found them on Clutch. We had two requirements: we prioritized businesses located in Ukraine, and the other criterion was their pricing.

We had the expertise to build the website, but we didn’t have the time because our engineering resources were dedicated to product building. Excited’s work was very high quality and without bugs. The idea we had for the website and how they implemented it resonated well with our customers. We received compliments on the site’s aesthetics. 

How did Excited perform from a project management standpoint?

Excited delivered the work on time and within budget. They communicated well with us, using Slack as their preferred means of communication. They invited us to their Slack environment, and we also used Zoom and Google Meet for calls. We exchanged emails at the beginning, but we ensured that all the day-to-day communication happened on Slack.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Anastasiia did a good job.
What did you find most impressive about them?

Excited was attentive to detail and quick to reply to our requests and feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been helpful to have more visibility on the fees incurred to date. The team could confirm that we're all aligned on the approach given before executing work.

I recommend making an effort to have a fee checkpoint and have them send the number of hours and the associated amount worked periodically.

Excited teammates support designing our school's new core products, providing product and mobile design. We onboarded Excited's team into our company's process, and they worked directly with our product manager.

Excited's product designer worked with us full-time, and their lead designer helped us part-time as a design manager.

How did you come to work with Excited?

We met Excited in Ukraine during an educational program. We had personally connected before, and I saw the team's portfolio. After we did some introduction calls discussing Excited's services, they made me feel comfortable working with them. We went through a small probation period to see if they could provide the types of services we needed, and it worked out, so we engaged in a long-term project.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Excited around six months ago and are about to conclude our partnership this week since we've hired new designers and no longer require their services.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We shared feedback with Excited as they worked on our product. The team was aware of how their designs performed with users and understood the impact of their work, guided by our metrics. The design work of Excited was within our expectations, and the provided designs met their function. Excited was proactive in learning about our company products and requirements, providing additional ideas.

How did Excited perform from a project management standpoint?

Excited designers meet deadlines and have access to our corporate Slack and Jira. Excited also had access to our corporate Notion, which we used for product requirements, storing documents, and as a knowledge base. The project management was more similar to an outsource model since we worked directly with Excited's designers. Each teammate met individual expectations.

The payment process was smooth, as Excited's financial team worked directly with my company's financial department, and I wasn't required to participate in that process. The team had a great approval process off sheets, and the onboarding went well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We usually didn't use external providers for this kind of work and took this engagement cautiously. I was mostly impressed by the quality of Excited's teammates; their willingness to help was quick from our initial talks and project, which lasted several weeks.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Excited asked me the same question, and I couldn't find a good answer. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest being clear and knowing the final output you require for any design projects.

I'm a lead software engineer at a software company that sells a CRM full-suite product to clubs and gyms across the world. My main role is building our product's frontend.

What challenge were you trying to address with Excited?

Our software was aged, and our site's UI/UX design needed an update. We were tasked with replacing many of the same functionalities so our clients didn't need to do a major retraining effort. We also wanted to take advantage of new technologies to get a fresh look that was cohesive with our sister companies that we worked closely with. Overall, we needed to migrate to technologies that are easier for us to manage to have a better dashboard and support. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I've worked with Excited on different aspects of our software, mainly related to the member-facing side and some backend development. Excited has created a design system that utilizes reusable components and styles, which has helped us have a cohesive company feel across our products. The project's initial step has required Excited to conduct client interviews with 10–15 of our biggest customers. 

During these interviews, the team asked questions about how users used our product to find which functions were irrelevant and which could move forward. Excited has organized the results of that intelligence gathering, after which we've asked the team to recreate functionalities of third-party services to offer them as part of our in-house full suite. Excited has rewritten 6–7 different features of our app, many of which aren't new, but the team has helped us put our take to it. 

Our stack was originally written in PHP, and Excited has helped us switch most of our backend technologies over to AWS Lambda and API functions. The frontend also used PHP, which was harder for us to update quickly. We wanted to take advantage of Ionic's toolsets, and Excited has used Angular and React to build and host pages natively. The team shares designs via Figma. 

What is the team composition?
I'm mostly in contact with Khrystyna (Product Designer) and another teammate. I know a bigger team works hands-on in our designs, although I don't work directly with them.

We work with many clients from all over the world and have some clients in Ukraine. Excited had worked for a Ukranian client, and we were able to bring them into our environment.

We've spent around $50,000 as a total investment.

We started working with Excited around a year and a half ago, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our measurement of success for Excited is their ability to help us engage with our customers in moving forward with this modernization effort. We've been successful in retaining our clients, and Excited's design has given us a smooth and effective transition to move our clients into this modern environment. The team has been very helpful across multiple teams in our organization, and this project has been a significant and daunting effort. 

The other measurement of success is in Excited's design of new features that we didn't previously have. We'll expose customers to those new features through a beta release over the next few months. The customers are very excited and have committed to financial agreements based on what we've built on their designs. Excited has helped us go from an idea concept to building and selling new features to clients who are investing in us and supporting us through the complete process. 

How did Excited perform from a project management standpoint?

Excited's project management is transparent and we have multiple streams of communication available for us. We communicate with the team through Slack channels, where we have our daily communication and meetings through Google Meet. Excited offers weekly updates of the project's status, whether it's written or during our meetings. We never guess what the work Excited will show. 

We do our internal sprint planning in Microsoft Azure, although Excited isn't involved in this task. We manage the project with the team on Figma, where we can establish tasks and notes of the work that needs to be accomplished; we find it easy to interact with specific parts of the design.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm mostly impressed by Excited's creativity and flexibility to be adaptable. We've brought the team some interesting problems to deal with since we have over 100 brands globally with 10,000–15,000 different individual locations. Our project involves a lot of variability and customization that end clients want to implement at varying price packages. Customers see our site differently since our software is configurable depending on the client's payments and requests. 

Excited's attention to detail and requirement gathering really stands out. I'm a UI/UX designer, and the companies I've worked with that had in-house designers weren't as proficient at requirement gathering and laying out all the potential pipelines that could occur. This ability pays off because we've been able to deliver and sell a thorough and robust product that can be tailored to our customers' needs. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Excited can improve their competitor analysis for some of our requested designs. The team operates in Ukraine, and we operate in the US, which might cause Excited complications. Still, I'd like the team to overlap some features other competitors offer and provide us with different price points specific to our requests. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I suggest being knowledgeable in the environment you ask Excited to design for. The team is very thorough in their requirement gathering and can operate in any environment, but their service will be more effective with more information you can provide. We've worked on several projects with Excited, some of which we didn't really have an idea of where the design could go, and the designs that came out were less useful if we actually decided to build something off of that. 

Excited will operate much more effectively with the more information they receive upfront.
