What challenge were you trying to address with Evolve Media?

We needed to create a branding website for a startup we were launching. We ended up going beyond that, and Evolve Media helped us design our website, too. Our goal was to establish our brand's image and create awareness. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, Evolve Media proposed ideas for the video, and we discussed what we wanted to include. After presenting their ideas, we had several virtual meetings, during which the team submitted samples of the video and storyboard that we revised. We collaborated over several months, and Evolve Media produced two videos for us: a branding video and a specific landing page sales video. The main branding video ended longer, but we cut it to about a minute and a half. 

The smaller goal was to make sure that the video was tailored specifically to be part of our sales program. Evolve Media was responsible for selecting voice actors, selecting images and videos, and editing the image and audio mixing. Evolve Media was also involved in our website's creative side, offering ideas and consulting to ensure the site was consistent with the branding video and supporting with design and content strategy.

My main point of contact was Tommy (President & Founder), and I know a bigger team was involved in the project, although I'm unsure how many teammates.

We spent $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Evolve Media from February–July 2024. The project was completed last week.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven't used the video yet because we haven't launched our company, but we plan to do it next month. We're setting up our social media program, where we'll use the branding video produced by Evolve Media. The team's work exceeded my expectations. Evolve Media was extremely professional, and I was impressed with the quality of their work.

How did Evolve Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Evolve Media delivered the work on time and on budget. The team met the required benchmarks and was patient with me. I was the one who held up work because I was waiting for other things to take place before we could move forward. We communicated through email, phone calls, and Zoom meetings. We collaborated through Google Docs.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to shout out Tommy's work. He was always there for anything I needed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Evolve Media went beyond my needs. If my ideas weren't consistent, Tommy wasn't afraid to bring them up and work them out. He was a professional and took pride in the work they did.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Evolve Media could improve.

I suggest hiring Evolve Media because they're a professional company. I was impressed by everything they did.

We needed help developing a professional promotional video for our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Evolve Media provided video production for us. We started by back-and-forth email and phone call communication. After that, we shared documents with them with a script for a video that could function as a business card for us.

The four-minute-long video included animation and audio and video editing.

We worked together from December 2023–January 2024.

We already published the video Evolve Media created for us on YouTube, and its quality exceeded our expectations.

How did Evolve Media perform from a project management standpoint?

Evolve Media’s project management was very professional; the team delivered everything on time and within budget. Regarding communication and tools, we used phone calls, email, and different Google Docs documents.

Tommy did a fantastic job while being courteous, professional, and responsive with communication, making this a successful project.

SF General Hospital Gala Description 2023 San Francisco General Hospital Foundation Gala Thursday, February 9th, 2023 Content / Video Production Produce pre-recorded elements and record the main program for the gala.

• Comprised of scripted and interviewed people in the field combined with imagery and archive footage.

 I own an event production company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with the service provider?

We were producing a live corporate event for a client of ours.  In order to promote the event and encourage attendance, we needed a promotional video to highlight the event and encourage people to attend.  We also needed to produce graphics and imagery that would be used during the keynote presentation at the event. In addition to this, our client wanted us to capture the event and provide a highlight video to promote future events.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Evolve team was brought in to help us ideate and determine the best type of content to produce prior to, during, and after the event.  They worked directly with me and then with my client to do everything from concepting, scripting, and producing most of the digital content for the event.  

The dynamic between myself and the Evolve team has always been excellent and I have worked with them on a number of projects.  I can always hand off any video tasks and they can work directly with myself and my client to help us achieve exactly what we want.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The videos and content produced came out great, the event was an epic success, and our client was happy.  I am happy to share any of the content produced or any evidence required. 

How did the service provider perform from a project management standpoint?

Having hired and worked with Evolve Media many times I have always been impressed by their ability to manage projects.  We have worked on some extremely complex projects including some hybrid events that required live video streaming in addition to pre-recorded content during Covid.  The team at Evolve Media is extremely competent, dedicated, and hardworking. They possess excellent communication skills; on top of being incredibly creative.  

Specifically on this project, I was able to hand my client off to Evolve directly and let them develop the content as needed.  Evolve kept me involved and made sure that everyone on the project was informed and a part of the decision making process.
