I’m the founder and CEO of ChangeSync, a SaaS cloud-based change management platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We’re a bootstrapped startup, and everything we do is cost-sensitive at this point as we continue to grow. We were looking for an offshore DevOps team that we could leverage to build out additional functionality.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave them wireframes to visualize what we were looking for from a UI perspective and context around the functionality we were looking for. They’ve been building additional functionalities within our platform. They took what we’d already made and have been using it as a starting point for everything they’ve been building. 

Everlabs has also brought in a UI designer who has been making our UI more modern and user-friendly. They involve the designer in any new functionality we push out, and they make changes and suggestions for added UX value. We also have a QA person that works on the project. The software is built on the Heroku platform using Ruby on Rails and React. 

What is the team composition?

We work with 5–6 people; we have designers, DevOps, a project manager, and a QA person. 

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

They were a referral from a person we previously worked with. We reached out and met with Oleg (CEO). After our conversation, we thought they would be a good fit and fit into our budget, and we decided to move forward. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $30,000 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2022, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The code is good and very clean; our QA lead has had nothing bad to say about it. We have certain expectations, and they always exceed them. When we first went to market, certain functionalities were asked of our product to move forward in our industry. The first functionality that they built was incredible, and it has allowed us to increase our sales and continue to grow our pipeline. 

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

We are in different time zones, but there is overlap, and they manage it well. We use Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Figma for collaboration and communication. We meet via Zoom, but we don’t need to often. Our project manager has been doing a fantastic job, ensuring that we’re looking at everything from all angles and acting as a true liaison between the Everlabs developers and our company. 

Their communication overall has been excellent. They constantly check in with us to make sure that we’re happy with what they’re doing and look at everything before we move forward into production. They’re extremely thorough. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were quickly able to come in and work in a space that they knew nothing about previously. They were fast to learn everything that we needed, and have been building everything in a very timely manner. They understand what we need and can translate that into coding language, even though we don’t have much knowledge in that area. 

They can take our requirements and truly understand them, not only from the capabilities of our platform, but from what we’re trying to accomplish in the industry. They do a great job listing our options and ensuring we’re aware of everything. It was one of our biggest fears to outsource someone to come in and work on our product, and they’ve assuaged all of those fears. 

We trust them because they’ve been doing a great job, and we’ll continue using them as long as we have development needs. Everlabs also gives recommendations that go above and beyond what we ask for, which we appreciate. Everlabs has helped us take our business to the next level. They've made the whole process easy, and our concerns have been alleviated.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing that we can come up with at this point. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re looking for experienced, trustworthy, wonderful partners that produce a product for a fraction of the cost of companies stateside, you should reach out to them. They also offer a variety of resources that we haven’t even used yet.

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We needed help to develop a comprehensive financial tool for real estate, mortgage, and financial services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The bulk of Everlabs’ work has been on the frontend, using React.js. They’ve also done a substantial amount of work using the Serverless Framework to build a secure infrastructure for us using Lambdas.

The expectation for the site is that customers looking to buy a home will be able to find a sophisticated financial analysis of their buying potential and how they can use their existing cash to buy a new home. I give Everlabs specific tasks to complete. Then, I review the code and its implementation.

What is the team composition?

We have contact with the project manager and the primary developer.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

I found them through a personal recommendation from a friend who’d talked to Everlabs previously. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The code Everlabs delivers is outstanding; I do QA as the team finishes and submits each task. Moreover, they came out the gate strong and ready, as did we, so we started moving fast. Overall, Everlabs has done a fabulous job — it’s been a perfect engagement. 

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re perfect at meeting deadlines and staying on budget. We use GitHub for project management and communication, and we also use Slack. I talk to the project manager once a week and contact the developer many times a day.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I find Everlabs’ sincerity impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there isn’t anything they need to improve.

Expect to be working with a top-notch, professional group.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of a company helping our customers optimising their buildings for human health, well-being and energy efficiency.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Everlabs, and what were your goals?

We do not have in-house front end developers and designers. We were looking for a competent partner for our web development projects that can deliver high quality web applications that our customers love to use.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched online for suitable companies and short-listed 3 which we then interviewed. The deciding factors were web application expertise, UI-UX design capability, size of the team, and communication.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We started by outlining the objectives of the project, the target audience and introduction into the actual topic of air quality and air quality based management of large buildings, in particular hotels.

Everlabs assigned a PM to us and put together an internal team that would fit our requirements. We started with Angular and later moved to React.

Key deliverables included custom UI design language and framework based on our brand, custom UI elements and data visualisations, a highly performant responsive 1web app implementation.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A project manager was the main point of contact, then we had 2-3 web developers, 2-3 ui ux designers, 1 senior designer and 1 quality control person on the team. Other people were pulled in sometimes for specific work items.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Clients love our dashboard design. The often comment on the harmonious visual presentation, ease of use and clear representation of insights.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We used Slack and JIRA to coordinate tasks and Skype for direct communication. We had a weekly stand-up with the project manager and further interactions during the week as needed. The communication was always responsive and good. The team always did everything they could to hit our timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have shown a great deal of care and attention to detail in the work that they do. The collaborative spirit is what impressed us the most and made us confident that we can deliver even on challenging development projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There could always be fewer bugs of course when a new project is being launched. However, the team took care of bugs always quickly and competently.

I am the CEO of Betegy, a sports data analytics visualization company. We work with big data, sports media, and sports betting.

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We were looking for someone to help us with software development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Everlabs built several functionalities for our non-core activities, like content and backend development. They essentially provided us with a full-scale solution. In our various projects with them, sometimes we provide wireframes and designs. Other times, we pitch the idea and they take care of everything from there.

What is the team composition?

We worked with about 10 people during the course of our collaboration. Our main point of contact was a project lead, but we have access to the developers if we need them.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

I’ve known the CEO of the company for a long time. While I was developing my company, he was developing Everlabs. I understand his values and personality, trusting his ability to get the job done. We’ve worked on smaller projects in the past, slowly moving toward larger ones. I knew that Everlabs could handle all aspects of this project because of our existing relationship built on trust and transparency. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent about €20,000–€30,000 Euros (approximately $22,197–$33,296 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2016, and it’s an ongoing engagement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Projects are always delivered on time, and feedback has been great. Usually, development projects come with delays, but Everlabs hit all deadlines. They have quality internal resources and the proper processes in place in order to get deliverables out on time. 

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very responsive. If I need to contact them or communicate something to anyone, they usually reply in a matter of hours.

In general, there haven't been any problems with their processes. It’s been a successful collaboration. We communicate via email for forwarding documents, phone and Skype for calls, and Slack for day-to-day communication. We also use Telegram messenger.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like that they’re a smaller, centralized company that has the resources to scale to our needs. Their team is very quick to communicate, providing quick solutions to problems as they arise. The best thing about the partnership is that they feel like part of our team. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

In our project-based approach, anything that could be improved already has been. I don’t have anything they could improve on. We keep working with them and are satisfied with their work.

I'm the owner and president of Organize Chaos. We build software applications for helping improve workflows of small businesses.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We had more jobs than we could handle internally. We needed extra bandwidth, especially for Ruby on Rails development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They've built a few different projects for us since they started. One is a learning management software. It’s a SaaS application that users can sign up for, and it includes a Stripe integration. It also features a custom WYSIWYG editor and content editor. They've done another software application project for managing statistics. An agency can sign up to track all their client data and APIs via a dashboard. In addition to Ruby on Rails, they use Bootstrap, JavaScript, and some custom design elements.

What is the team composition?

We work with two full-time developers. They also have a manager that we can talk to if there are any issues.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

I found them through a Google search. They speak wonderful English, which is helpful so we can get on a call or video chat to discuss the projects. They were willing to do a trial before we had to pay anything, just to make sure that we were happy.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in September 2017 and it's an ongoing relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The product that they've worked on for the last few months has grown 40% month over month, which is significant. They did a great job in building something that clients like. The product is extremely stable. We have thousands of users in over 20 different countries on the platform.

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

We added the developers to our Slack channels in order to facilitate project management. We also communicate with them through our Pivotal Tracker account, which is where we document our stories, features, and bug requests. Infrequently we'll get on a call in order to discuss the next big set of things that are coming. We also keep everything documented in our GitHub account. We check in occasionally with the manager, but we generally don't engage him in the process. We prefer to work directly with the developers, assigning projects and putting everything into our system. Overall, we're happy with their availability and responsiveness. They've been a great extension of our team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They build things to spec, and get things right on the first try. With other developers, they made assumptions that resulted in having to rebuild things multiple times. Everlabs is very thorough in interpreting our stories, and make very few mistakes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they hired more team members. They’ve been great so far, so hopefully they continue to grow as we grow.

Any advice for potential customers?

The more thorough the client can be in describing what they want, the better success they're likely to get from the developers. Everlabs has thanked us for clearly writing the stories and delivering very clear requirements.

We are a startup on-demand gas-delivery company operating in Moscow, Russia. We have worked on several apps for more than 5 years, for several startups. One of those was a Russian B2B marketplace for companies transacting oil and other industrial products, and another was a travel app. I was a co-founder of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We needed help with server work, landing pages, mobile applications, and so on.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Everlabs is developing our gas delivery app. We’ve also worked on a mobile application and web platform for solo travelers, which is a trip planner that makes suggestions for things to see and so on. It interfaces with Google Maps and synchronizes with its users’ accounts on the mobile side.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

Their owner, Oleg Pasko, was referred to me by some friends. We started working on some websites together and I gradually gave them more work. I’ve been quite satisfied and have recommended them to friends in Israel looking for IT services. The cost here is much higher than it is in Ukraine.

How much have you invested with Everlabs?

The cost of their work has exceeded $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Everlabs in December 2013. We are continuing to work on the on-demand gas delivery project. They are currently developing an email trigger functionality.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

The on-demand gas delivery project was launched at the end of April 2017 and has reached around 5,000 downloads. We don’t have too many orders, but we are working on this.

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m more than satisfied with them on the current project. Everlabs has taken away most of my headaches around the coordination between their internal developers with the external Android resource we’re using. I assign tickets on how I want the product to be in terms of user experience and its marketing goals, and we figure out solutions together. I don't have to be involved with anything after that; I simply receive results and test them.

We use Redmine for the collaboration and Skype most of the time for communication. We aren’t very satisfied with the tool itself, but my other teammates aren’t as savvy with using other web applications, however, Everlabs responds almost immediately to us.

There have been some delays, but some of them have been our fault. We are a startup and are testing different things; for example, I gave them specs for the email trigger functionality and they developed it. After that, we got some market responses and had to make some changes. We have changed tickets on the fly.

What did you find most impressive about Everlabs?

As an entrepreneur, I will sometimes want features which aren’t necessary at the moment. Everlabs asks me if I really need those items and will discuss with me how we can make things simpler. They should be interested in more work since I pay them accordingly, but the team has actually suggested doing things later on instead of doing whatever I ask for.

Other developers would have been willing to create a much too complicated system, but Everlabs has warned me when a 10% increase in functionality could lead to 50% more issues. This type of feedback has helped me save quite a bit of money.

Are there any areas Everlabs could improve?

They don’t have an Android developer on board, so I’ve had to hire one separately. They are working on this, however.

We provide a corporate wellness platform which allows employees to manage their own health in a preventative manner, and which allows HR wellness managers to design programs for the staff, and manage them continuously. Our second product line is for chronic-disease management. I am the CEO of the company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We came to them when we barely had our first specs and wireframes for the mobile product. We had a number of integrations with medical devices, and different notifications which were a challenge.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have built our product from the ground up together with Everlabs. They’ve been hands-on in terms of assessing an existing experience and integrating with different components. The platform is a responsive Ionic app, and we don’t have any native versions.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

I went to the same school as one of their frontend engineers, before moving to the US and running my company. I reached out to him while working with another IT company in the early days, and I also met Everlabs’ CEO. We had a good conversation, and, within a month, a contract was drafted by my lawyers.

How much have you invested with Everlabs?

The cost of their work has been around $75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Everlabs in April 2015. The project is ongoing. Like any IT products, ours had a number of iterations and updates over time. Everlabs has had to support our ongoing innovation effort.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Our product is B2B, so we don’t care very much about our downloads on the Apple Store. We have gone through a few accelerators, and have a few pilots going on, with the main focus being on large employers.

The user interface designed by Everlabs is intuitive and simple, and our clients have been satisfied in many ways, including the less tech-savvy ones. They have been able to figure out how to use and navigate the product. The HR dashboard has a nice interactive design, and we’ve gotten a lot of positive responses for it, as well as for its functionalities.

I’ve been satisfied with the team’s thought process around the architecture of our second product, which is more clinic-oriented. The solution they came up with is ideal for a long-term strategy and implementation with larger customers. From a user standpoint, we have a comprehensive product.

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

They are constantly improving in this respect. The company has been growing since last year, and we now have a dedicated product manager who has well-defined and effective processes. We’ve gone through R&D processes before deciding on what we should and shouldn’t be doing. We want them to be experts in the industry, and give us appropriate feedback.

What did you find most impressive about Everlabs?

I was very impressed with the team from the beginning. They are skillful and have never said no to us. They think about customer needs and business processes in order to drive a product that makes sense. They have taken part in the conversation and understood the reasons behind building a new feature. They were always on time, organized, detail-focused, and product-management-oriented. I had worked with a number of IT companies in the past and was very disappointed. Everlabs has an honest and truthful team, which lends them a lot of credibility. They never promised more than they could deliver or oversold themselves, which is crucial for any company. The team is constantly taking classes for professional development, based on which they’ve come up with new ideas like using Alexa voice.

Are there any areas Everlabs could improve?

They have taken some of the recommendations we provided, in terms of having more dedicated people who could work on site with me and define project needs and details. That could bring more efficiency for the frontend and backend developers and could allow us to better define product features and use cases.

Different firms have different focuses. We, as a healthcare company, are looking for additional resources which will bring more experience around the US hospital systems, and more knowledge around integrations. Having developers who have done work in hospitals would be valuable, but we were the first healthcare company Everlabs had experience with.

I’m the VP of product management for an app monetization and distribution platform. We offer both DSP [demand-side platforms] and SSP [supply-side platforms] to mobile developers and build tools to either promote or monetize their apps. We are a fully self-serve transparency platform that’s similar to Google AdWords or the Facebook media-buying system. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

Our product is an internal dashboard for monitoring internal APIs on specific pages of our platform or website. Everlabs has helped us with a lot of tasks over the years, including cutting down the designs to HTML and building landing pages, scripts, parsers, or crawlers that we needed internally, as well as different kinds of emailers and server setups. Most of the work is low- to medium-end tasks to complete our current R&D efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They are involved in all stages of the product. Sometimes they help us with design, and sometimes they only do the HTML work. They also handle deployment with the server and introduce changes and improvements to the product after it’s been used on the market.

We do all the preparation work and implement their deliverables on our side. After a review process, we implement the more complex functionalities in-house. Everlabs mainly uses JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Ruby for us. We did a little bit of client-side mobile work with them, but not on a large scale. They supplied developers for some smaller tasks. They didn’t build something that went live or a full functionality for us.

How many resources were assigned to your project?

Internally, we have 6 product management resources as well as a project manager. Each product manager is authorized to use Oleg’s [CEO, Everlabs] services to complete their duties. I work with him periodically when I take on some work myself.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

I joined the company in February 2014 and brought a lot of requirements. Someone from our team had worked with Everlabs before and recommended them. I jumped at the opportunity and continue to work with them on a daily basis.

We have spent a lot of money with them over the course of our relationship, the total amount is confidential.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2014, and the work is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

Everlabs has a proactive approach and improves all the time. They started small but are growing year to year as they add developers to their team and expand their support system (e.g. for design, QA, and deployment).

The products and tools they’re working on for us are being used by millions of people around the world. The code speaks for itself. We are a B2B2C organization; we work with companies that work with the end consumers. These companies use our products to show ads for the customers. Our customers are big app developers, device manufacturers, and other networks that integrate with us to offer products to their customers. As a company, our products are installed on a lot of devices. Some are integrated with websites, and some are integrated with apps. Others use server-to-server integrations, and it’s up to the network to convey them.

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Skype, email, phone calls, and meetings. They’ve visited us before. We have an office in Ukraine, so our manager there is in touch with Oleg as well. I work with Everlabs using our task management system. We pay on an hourly basis for a monthly deck of hours.

What did you find most impressive about Everlabs?

We trust them with our trademarks and technologies, and they make every effort to accommodate our needs. When we had to push them a little further with our requests, they adapted and worked the extra time willingly, achieving a good result. We can trust them. We don’t usually work with outsourcing companies for set hours per month. With Everlabs, we don’t have any problem with this setup because we trust their quality of work and the billing process.

Are there any areas Everlabs could improve?

As they introduce more capabilities and more technologies, they could expand to iOS or Android projects. We can definitely allocate more work if they expand their team.

I'm the project manager and senior engineer at Everlabs, an architecture and engineering firm focused on government contracting for construction, asset management, and professional services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Everlabs?

We hired Everlabs to develop a suite of app and web-based solutions to assist our company in delivering the highest quality performance on an awarded 4-year contract.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Everlabs is developing a suite of app and web-based solutions to streamline scheduling, data collection, reporting, review, and project analytics for improved quality and efficiency. The scope of work includes a mobile app for inspectors to collect and report findings with photographs and automated repair cost estimates, a review portal for error check and corrections, and an administrative panel for tracking the status and progress of scheduling and report submissions for over 4,000 deliverables annually.

What is the team composition?

We have a dedicated team of 4 to 8 assigned members.

How did you come to work with Everlabs?

I was referred to Everlabs by a friend. The team seemed most engaged and excited about the project. They discussed possible solutions that conveyed their understanding of our needs.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've cut inspection and reporting time to roughly half or one-third of the amount of time it previously took. The review time was reduced from 60–90 minutes per report to roughly 10 minutes on average. We've reduced our review staff from six employees to three full-time staff. Scheduling emails are now 80% automated, freeing up our staff to help on other tasks and projects. Overall, we've decreased labor expenses and increased profit.

How did Everlabs perform from a project management standpoint?

Everlabs' project management is responsive and attentive. We communicate via Slack, email, and weekly meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is enjoyable to work with, and they seem excited to work with us on solving our problems.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Initial time and cost estimations for the MVP completion were exceeded, however, Everlabs worked with us to meet our goals with only a minor extension to the timeline and budget.
