I’m the founder of GoRally, a sports company. We enable users to book sports courts, join open games, and train with top players at multiple centers in Bangalore, making it easier for more Indians to play sports regularly.

We needed help building an MVP for our platform that enables users to create profiles and join games.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Eternalight Infotech built an open play booking system and user profiles with booking history on the frontend. The team also built a resilient backend admin system to create, cancel, and modify games. Moreover, Eternalight Infotech implemented a user-friendly UI design, integrated the platform with payment gateways and SMS notifications, and designed it to handle scale. The team was also responsible for testing and deployment. We hired an external UX designer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Eternalight Infotech's work, our page load time was less than two seconds, and the platform was 100% compatible with all web apps. We also had 10,000+ registered users, 500+ recurring users, and 99.99% uptime. We tracked the users via Microsoft Clarity and the uptime and page load speed via tools provided by the DevOps team.

This is driven from senior leaders and reflects in strong ownership and accountability at the individual contributor level. Teams tend to take on and practice shared accountability along with their customer, than adopting a 'tell me what to do next' thinking which is prevalent in the industry.

Eternalight Infotech migrated the entire Epixego frontend codebase from a legacy React 16 setup to the modern Vite + React 18/19 + @mui/material stack. The engagement included upgrading multiple core libraries such as React Router, Redux, Babel, Sass, and Ant Design to their latest stable versions, ensuring compatibility, performance, and maintainability. As part of the modernization, the team optimized the build to achieve a main bundle under 3MB and supporting JS files under 1MB. Optional deliverables included S3 + CloudFront optimized deployment, New Relic integration for performance monitoring, and Google Analytics integration for user activity tracking. Additionally, Eternalight developed and implemented 150 automated UI test cases using Cypress, strengthening the client’s QA process and improving regression testing efficiency.

Weekly progress updates, testing and demos, followed by detailed hand-offs were critical to meetign the project objectives.

Even when occasional delays occurred, they proactively communicated timeline adjustments and set realistic expectations to keep us fully informed throughout the process. This transparency and responsiveness to our needs demonstrated their commitment to client success.

Technical Delivery:
The technical execution was outstanding. The team successfully optimized our build to achieve a main bundle under 3MB with supporting JS files under 1MB, significantly improving our application performance. They also delivered valuable optional features including S3 + CloudFront optimized deployment, New Relic integration for performance monitoring, and Google Analytics integration for user activity tracking.

Quality Assurance:
One of the most impressive aspects was their development and implementation of 150 automated UI test cases using Cypress. This strengthened our QA process tremendously and improved our regression testing efficiency, providing long-term value beyond the immediate migration.

Regularly updated technical summaries or sprint reports could help non-technical stakeholders stay aligned on progress and decisions. That said, the team’s responsiveness and willingness to clarify details whenever requested more than made up for this, and their openness to feedback throughout the project was greatly appreciated.
