I’m a broker at Palmare Private Brokerage, a full-service real estate company that focuses on the select, premium segment of the South Florida market.

For what projects/services did your company hire Eryce?

We needed someone to create a website and online brand materials like a logo and style guide.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted an online presence that matched the quality and services we provide in our day-to-day operations. Since we’re the first private brokerage firm in South Florida, it was imperative that our brand's quality was clear to prospective clients.

We were referred to Eryce and decided to go with them after looking at a few other firms.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

We started with no branding whatsoever, so we needed to create everything from scratch. Eryce created our logo and other brand elements that we then turned around and used as the basis for our business cards and stationery. The most important part of the project was to build a simple but attractive website.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a project manager, a UI/UX designer, and a web developer, who had a team behind him.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This was our first opportunity to display our company in the market and we’ve received multiple pieces of positive feedback, especially regarding the logo and our branding. People have also enjoyed the creative outside the website as well, like outdoor signs and business cards.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We worked remotely since Eryce is based in Europe and we’re located in the US. Their project manager coordinated everything and ensured that the project ran professionally. Both sides had excellent responsiveness.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of the work was outstanding, especially compared to the pricing we received from local firms.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

The branding process took longer than I expected it would, so we had to delay starting development but it was worthwhile in the end. We had a good experience.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

CoMotion is the University of Washington’s tech transfer department. As the senior marketing communications manager, I led the website development efforts.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eryce?

We thought that having a Drupal website would enhance our online presence, but we eventually learned that the platform was hard to maintain. The site was also prone to dead links and challenging to navigate, so we desperately needed to find a competent web developer to help us build a user-friendly WordPress site.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since we were moving our website from Drupal to WordPress, Eryce had to rebuild the entire infrastructure and redesign a significant portion of the layout. One of their UX designers met with our stakeholders to learn more about what our department does and who our core audience is. After identifying our business needs, they developed a few ideas for brand personas, user paths, site content, and the overall design. We selected our favorite options, and they built the site per our university’s standards.

What is the team composition?

During the engagement, we worked with an account manager, a project manager, and a few developers.

How did you come to work with Eryce?

They reached out to us after hearing about our web design needs from a mutual connection. We decided to work with them because they had the most cost-effective proposal.

How much have you invested with them?

The project’s evolving scope brought the final price up to $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

They worked on the website from January 2017 through April 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Eryce’s user-friendly design met all of the functionality goals that we set at the beginning of the project. Our admin users are finally able to upload content and share links without running into site errors.

How did Eryce perform from a project management standpoint?

With weekly virtual check-ins and frequent email correspondence, they made the remote project feel like a truly collaborative experience.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Eryce offers a comprehensive design package at a significantly lower price than their competitors. We only asked them to migrate the existing content on the old Drupal site to our WordPress platform, but they surpassed our expectations by designing an entirely new website that’s tailored to fit our specific business goals. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although our email correspondence was sufficient, having access to Eryce’s preferred project management software would have improved our remote partnership experience tremendously.

I am the managing director of an international art advisor that assists private and corporate clients. We work closely with select family offices and financial service providers.

We hired Eryce to build a custom application that would expedite the onboarding process for prospective clients and help us identify their art preferences.

Since art is so broad and each person's taste is so different, it takes time to look for the right pieces. We wanted to create an application that would expedite this process and help us start a conversation with prospective clients.

After looking at a few other firms, we decided that Eryce offered the highest quality and best value for our needs. They also had an excellent reputation within our network.

We had a solid understanding of the problem and how we wanted the app to look. From there, we worked with Eryce to finalize the business requirements. They designed and built the software from scratch and deployed it on web and mobile.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We gave Eryce an extremely tight deadline in order to be ready for a major art fair, and they were able to deliver. The software has just been released, but we do expect a positive outcome. In fact, we’ve received positive feedback about the app from potential clients. If the software helps us acquire just one new client, it would be an acceptable ROI for the project.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Eryce provided excellent project management, and the project was run on Jira. We communicated regularly via Skype. We enjoyed talking with their team and felt that they took great care to keep us updated on progress.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What was most impressive was the skills of the team. They were all experienced senior staff and quite knowledgeable, which allowed them to build an app that precisely matched our specs within a tight deadline.

What tips or recommendations do you have?

A tip for future clients would be to provide as much documentation as possible and spend extra time upfront during the project. This would lead to a faster turnaround and more efficient use of resources.
