I am the president of a software development company. We develop software for system contracts. In this case, I am starting a new development effort for a new company.

Develop a fairly complicated web application with SQL database, using the latest technologies. Security was a big concern and scalability. The system also had to support mass email capabilities and texting for notifications. Additionally we need it to have a ticket sales capability with inventory and use Credit card and other pay services.

I have been using ENVITICS SOLUTIONS for many years and this was just the next big project. Additionally, I was counting on ENVITICS SOLUTIONS to add their expertise and make suggestions to assist and improve the capabilities of the site.

We had a kick off meeting, with Skype, to start and then by-weekly meetings as the project progressed. Depending on the different aspects of the project there were times when we had daily meeting to insure a particular task proceed correctly.

ENVITICS SOLUTIONS was very responsive to the time line pressures of the project and added staff as required to help the project stay on target in the end we made 155 changes to the project and ENVITICS SOLUTIONS used a tracking system (Jira Software), tracking these changes and additions. Technologies wise we used .Net and SQL.

In some cases there were as many as 4 people on a Skype call. And in other cases just 1. It should also be noted that ENVITICS SOLUTIONS worked around my schedule, 10 AM EST USA 95% of the time even though they are in India.

The site is just new and the business is new so the outcomes are slow to measure but everyone who has looked at the site as really liked it. The site is very professional and clean. Any minor graphics or font change request were quickly addressed, tracked by the tracking system.

There was a senior project manager who communicated with me often and the owner added comments along the way. Especially when it came to requests for input/suggestions. I also received daily progress report and to today's plan for work and also tomorrows as well. They also kept me in formed as to vacations days so that expectations as to productivity were managed.

I was able to ask for input and suggestions to accomplish the task and their history of other projects really aided in the complete of the project in total and along the way.

Envitics was hired to create the database and headend infrastructure for our primary mobile app called "2du - Showcasing the Local Experience". Their team setup several API servers, websites, SQL servers, and was a key part of the design & development team. This system was successfuly launched in Q1 2022 and has proven to be very flexible and stable.

My primary contact was Maulik who impressed me with his technical knowledge and project management skills. I appreciated their ability to dive in and out of development cycles so our local team had time to integrate their work with other parts of the project. They were also flexible regarding our monthly budgets.

Envitics created a state-of-the-art head end for our location-based 2du apps (iphone & android). They were active in the design, definition and search algorithms for all of the API calls to our SQL database. The server was an SSD-based Windows VPS Host which they were able to independently manage. As we became closer to launch, they implemented a full copy of the system and added a backup system together with other security software.

We were primarily working with their project manager, and one server/api full stack software engineer. Besides these two individuals, they seemed to involve 2 more software programmers during different phases of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The consumer experience enabled by the API seems to be positively received by the marketplace ! The database contains more than a million deeplinks to travel and entertainment media that is presented together with consumer friendly filtering options. The marketing efforts are still quite early, but the app currently has many 5-star reviews in the apple app store.

Our project manager was always very flexible regarding availability of programming resources. Communications was easy given their excellent english skills. Response to quick questions was very easy. Follow up with task completions and/or questions were very professional.

The team was fully capable of doing full stack development. They take pride in their work, and they were quick to understand what we were working towards so their suggestions for architecture improvements were always spot on.

ENVITICS SOLUTIONS has been key to the development and go-to-market of our product. They are involved in everything from software development to business intelligence and development for the service.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a prototype on Microsoft application services that delivered corporate governance from the highest level of board directors. That included hierarchical functions all the way down through executive plans, portfolios, programs, project tasks, and milestones, as well as common functions such as issue reporting, risk assumptions, dependencies, and progress changes and reports.

I selected a CRM system called Bitrix24, and their team built an interactive website for marketing that was integrated with the CRM. They built the functionality to receive data, requests, and any other information regarding leads that would automatically be recorded and accessible in the CRM for me and my partners.

What is the team composition?

We work directly with one developer full time and one business development manager part-time, but they have a testing architect and design team working behind the scenes as well.

Initially, I used a freelance developer website and connected with one of the developers on their team. He did some good work, so I agreed to test out their full team for three months, and I’ve been working with them ever since.

We first started working together in May 2017, and the project is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I have a lot of good independent feedback on the product they’ve delivered. People really like it. One client called me because he was having issues, and it only took five minutes over the phone to clear everything up. Other users have said that the UI/UX is intuitive and that it makes their lives a lot easier.

Their team always comes up with insights and different questions that I didn’t see in the first place, and it makes the product better than I ever could on my own. We set targets, and they deliver against those targets on an agile basis. I’ve been very pleased with all their work so far.

Since I was working directly with the developers, our communication was generally very efficient. I’ve been in the software development industry for almost 30 years, and they are some of the most helpful, productive, and communicative people I’ve worked with.

We chat 3-4 times a day if they have questions on the fly, and top of that we have a standup meeting every week to review the week’s work and tackle any issues or bugs that they’ve run into.

Their dedication is unparalleled. Once I started working with them, no matter who the specific developer is, they always strive to deliver extremely good quality work on time.
