Each milestone has specific deliverables that need to be tested before funding and moving to the next milestone. For example, for the first milestone, the deliverables are Slack app installation via OAuth, the /hynt add command works, the bot opens DM and collects the employee's name and start date, and the data is stored in the database. We test the Slack app to confirm the successful completion of the later milestones.
