I'm the system administrator for an e-commerce retailer. We service the law enforcement industry with identification products.

We have a Magento 2 storefront for our e-commerce presence that needed some significant customization. We hired Elightwalk Technology to customize our theme, debug "add to cart" issues, and further modify cart functions to compliment our complex product line and integrations with a 3rd party.

After viewing many online profiles, we took into consideration length of experience, level of experience, specific experience to Magento 2, other customer ratings, and revenue generated.

We started with a small portion of the project and when it was completed very well, we extended work for the rest of our project task items.

Originally we had 2 deliverables:

• Deliverable 1: changing our current theme so that product attributes are not displayed inline in the page content, but instead hidden, and then accessible via a "Filters" button that slides out from the left like a menu. Needs to maintain current theme design with the addition of this filters button.
• Deliverable 2: Update top header with logo and company name/slogan, cart icon and search to use up considerably less space on mobile than does currently; approx 1/3 to 1/4 the space you see now. Desktop browser experience needs to remain roughly the same.

But in the midst of those, we discovered critical errors with our store functions and requested their assistance. We later extended the work to include deliverables including: 

• correcting theme for cross-sell/upsell items
• adding custom text on checkout pages
• installing search extension
• installing Klaviyo email extension
• installing google analytics tracking extension
• cleaning up spam/bot customer accounts
• installing google recaptcha
• solving invalid form key/add to cart issues
• installing BSS success page/email receipt extension
• additional customization to products using 3rd party iframe
• theme design changes to a specific group of products
• adding "filters" button to hide/show product attributes selection
• upgrading cart to newest version 2.4.1
• upgrading our store database and web server to most compatible with 2.4.1 cart
• Creating a development store/copy to test all new work on Their team utilized a task management tool for efficient communication. Our store uses Magento 2, mariah db, and nginx.

I was only in direct communication with 1 member, but there were 1 or 2 more I believe. The team member I communicated with I believe was the owner or senior developer.

Based on google analytics data, our revenue increased over 60% from our launch date - prior to hiring this company, customers could not "add to cart" consistently, the store was slow and features were intermittently working.

They worked on 2 to 4 tasks at the same time, and used a task management system to communicate progress, questions, etc about each task that was created in it. Depending on the complexity of a particular task, a task could be completed in 2 days, to possibly 2 weeks.

They communicated daily, if not multiple times daily, to advise that work was completed and ready to be checked.

We are impressed with their communication skills, quality of work, and speed to complete a task. If we had found and hired this company before the other 2 we tried to work with, I know we could have finished our project an entire year earlier.

Our goal was to get a low-budget makeover for our ageing Magento 1 eCommerce website by migrating it to Magento 2 with a lot of customizations.

Initially hired them for just a $700 migration, but later saw value in their work and stuck with them.

To be honest, it was not a very calculated appointment as we just went with the flow. Our requirements kept evolving and they were up for the challange.

Magento based response ecom website, with a strong focus on mobile-friendliness.

We provided the complete UI wireframes in Figma and they were good in implementing it as a real html design on Magento.

Their team is good if you can tell them exactly what you need in detail with as much representations as possibe.

The website has all necessary online retail functions like wishlist, cart, checkkout and payments.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They did meet 70% of my expectations in terms of the result. As I said they are good if you explain stuff in detail, give wireframes and provide all the logical diagrams.

Their best part is that their CEO is hands on and will be in touch with you throughout. They are quick to implement any changes you need and are literally a phone call away.

I like their style of working as they match your speed and don't bother you too much. The site has been well received by our customers and friends.

I just wish they had deeper insights into the current consumer tech trends and a general website vistor friendliness orientation to their work.

Further they need to work on code hygiene, QA and documentation part. The work is still not done as we plan to be in collaboration with them for another 6 months as we have a lot of work in pipeline

Once all design and notes were handed over and implemented, we did a number of feedback rounds, delivering changes and comments via a Google Drive document. We used Figma and Zeplin to hand over the design files.

Our website is now up to date and aligned with our brand identity and visitors of the site has expressed a delight with the implemented changes. It has further more shown signs of enhanced conversion rates, but it's still too early to give a concrete number.

We had weekly or biweekly meetings, depending on where we were in the process. We used Slack and Skype to communicate on the overall project.

I've enjoyed working with Jayram a lot. He always asked a lot of questions to the project, ensuring that he understood all the details completely, while being polite, patient and professional at all time. The end result is better than expected, and we are very happy to see it live on our website.

Tools were as used for Photoshop, and various development and communication was held between us as whatsapp and skype for project coordination. Management was as fast and reliable like anything and was quicker then others that i have observed
