Please describe your company and your position there.

I am an executive for a company that provides laboratory equipment and supplies to academic institutions, biotech, pharma, and clinical and medical organizations.

For what projects/services did your company hire Elevated Internet Marketing, and what were your goals?

We hired Elevated to design and develop a brand-new site for our company. With limited resources, we turned to an outside party to design and build the site. We have also hired Elevated to set up and monitor our paid media, primarily Google AdWords campaigns.

Our goal is to work with a trusted provider to help increase our visibility in the digital marketing area. Our company is also considering hiring them for SEO services. As a small company, we have limited staff and resources so we look to Elevated to leverage their expertise.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I worked with Elevated when at a previous company. Unfortunately, I cannot remember how Elevated was initially chosen. Since starting with my current company a year and a half ago, I contacted Elevated to help develop our new website. Working with them several years ago, I knew the team could handle my requests, and they proved themselves by providing results. Ricardo, Steve, and the rest of the team are knowledgeable, treat their customers with great respect, and provide honest work.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Initially, we started with a kick-off meeting and gathered the spec of our projects. They took this information, developed several design options, and then built the wireframe. From there, the site was built based on our needs, and they worked with me to get all the website copy and images loaded. We have ongoing maintenance services with Elevated. Our paid media services, the same thing, started with a kickoff meeting and then developed a plan and implemented the ads.

Website development - 3 (Designer, Project Manager, and Partner/Operations) Paid Media - 3 (Director of Client Services, Paid Media Specialists, and VP of Digital Engagement)

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Elevated gave us a user-friendly platform to provide valuable information about our products and services to potential/current customers. It is still a WIP, but through the paid media hope to see more of an ROI.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Elevated met with us on several occasions throughout the project and was available anytime I had questions or concerns. Elevated works in a project management tool called Base Camp, and it was a great way to communicate and get things approved. Easy to go back and reference things versus trying to sort through hundreds of emails. As one person in our department handles many balls in the air, things were organized and efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Working with Elevated makes me feel like we are NOT just another project they want to finish and move on to the next customer. We believe they want to establish a long-term relationship and are honest about their work., and provide suggestions to improve our results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am pretty savvy in figuring things out, but I wish there was more structured, clearer training for doing things in WP. We have monthly website maintenance services and would like updates on what was done that month, any bugs they had to fix, etc. Some type of understanding of what our ROI is on the monthly financial investment. Much of the maintenance work is standard, but if there is anything new, I would like to ensure I am aware.

They have always been a valued partner of ours. They take a good holistic approach.

They are big on data, and allowing that data to make decisions. They work hard and are very knowledgeable about all aspects of the project.

We have an ads specialist, account manager, developers, and SEO team we work with.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Despite low budget on our end, they continue to do the most with the least. They are good at nailing down what works best for a certain target group and don't try to have one blanket strategy which is not good.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Amazing communication, and very thorough in their thought processes and explaining their strategy.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to work around obstacles. Their problem solving ability is awesome!
