The scope of this project was to analyze data provided by various police departments across Nepal, with the goal of understanding the distribution and types of cases reported in different regions. The primary objectives included conducting a thorough analysis of crime patterns to identify trends and hot spots of criminal activity. This project not only involved detailed examination of the types of crimes but also incorporates crucial Analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of police operations. 

Smarten Augmented Analytics tool, which comprises a suite of enterprise-scale applications for gathering, indexing, storing, and analyzing data from various sources and applications, was used to collect the data and build the required dashbaords and analytics capailties. 

Based on the requirement collected and analysis of data a total of 26 individual dashboard screens and 12 reports were identified and delivered. The deliverables also included a requirement document that detailed what each of the dashboard will capture, the data sources that will be used for the same and the details of schema, tables and fields that will be used to create the datasets. Elegant team also worked with us to conduct a training for the Nepal Police personnel so they could use the Smarten tool post delivery to build their owen dashboards and reports on other use cases.

Yes the items planned were delivered on time. Delays in the intermittent deliverables were communicated upfront and change in plans discussed and agrred upon. 

A project cordinator was assigned who worked with us to review on a weekly basis and make any adjustments to planned delierables accordingly. Regular customer meetings were also planned to ensure that progress is communicated and feedback taken on work done

The account manager provided to us is fantastic. All the queries are raised through the mail and if urgent even through a phone call. The concerns are resolved within 24 hours and if it requires an internal discussion, it gets reverted by 48 hours.

There customer engagement team is worth admiring. This company has a customer-centric development approach, which is impressive. They have a weekly meeting, and all the concerns raised if left unanswered due to group discussion get answered after the meeting. Whether in a positive or negative way :)

We require an incremental rebuilding of the datasets and the filter option needs to be optimized so that load on the data server decreases. For which the account manager has assured to get it to develop in the near future.

We wanted to build a mobile application (iOS + Android) for fantasy sports enthusthiasts in the United States. Our goal was to get an application built in 90 days and bring it to market for the start of the 2021 NFL season.

We worked with our company's advisors to review several development companies and shortlist a few that we could decide to work with. They brought us Elegant MicroWeb in a meeting and we really enjoyed the level of effort they put into our proposal plus their quick understanding of a new subject matter. Their costs were right in our budget as well.

We had a few product refinement sessions prior to the engagement so that the team fully understood the industry we were launching in and the nuances involved. I have a product management background so I put together all of the user stories based on the designs created by my co-founder. Collectively, we put together the E2E roadmap of what we wanted the EMW team to build and this helped make the process very simple. I highly recommend that you lay out all of the requirements up front with great level of detail. This made this working engagement run very smooth as there were very little surprises or ambiguous features for the team to build.

We worked with about 6-7 resources from the team including a customer success manager, frontend devs, backend devs, database engineers and mobile app specialists. We've been very pleased with the resources they've dedicated to the project.

The EMW put together a timeline at the beginning of the project and stuck to it, they have delivered a fully functioning mobile application (iOS + Android) in the agreed upon 90 day time frame. We will launch this to the market in the next month and look to have ~1000 users to start.

Project management was simplified given my product management background. My team set up Jira and Confluence which we used to track the development effort. We had weekly standups with the EMW team + a bi-weekly sprint demo call. These agile ceremonies were very helpful in terms of tracking progress throughout the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team stuck to their timelines that they gave at the beginning of the project, learned a brand new subject matter overnight, and delivered an excellent customer experience throughout the entire process. The team was also very receptive to any mid-sprint changes that we requested and turned those around overnight almost everytime.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, there are not many areas that I can think of. I would highly recommend working with this team in the future and they would certainly be the first ones that I call if I ever launch a new venture. One thing that could have been more helpful upfront would be if they could have provided me a roadmap view of when they needed me to setup all of the app store submissions, AWS infrastructure, etc.. but regardless, we were able to complete that work in a few days and there was no impact to the timelines. Again, I highly recommend working with the team.

These two tools, which were unique in the market for shared services consulatncy, allowed me to sell my services more effectively and added greater value for clients. The wb tools helped clients to identify areas for improvement and drive both cost savings and quality improvements. The toolsets on offer increased my sales opportunities

We agreed a plan with timelines for deliver and testing - my objectives and timelines were well met. All work was done remotely with Skype calls to discuss and review progress and view the toolsets as the development proceeded

EMW solicited our business in 2014 with an offer to perform a basic website redesign for what we felt was a good value at the time.

Initially EMW assisted us with a basic 'new skin' type redesign where the website was aesthetically changed. Eventually they assisted us with more involved inner category and inner product page development.

Over time they have assisted us with a number of design and technical development projects, including the development of four entirely separate themes which we use during various Holiday periods throughout the year.

EMW has also assisted us with technical SEO improvements.

I have normally worked with one or two team members, and they have a single point of contact model for each project. I understand that behind the scenes up to six developers may be involved in the project, but just about everything is run thru the primary POC which helps with efficiency.
