Our primary objective was to create a tool that could back the new strategy, enhance brand recognition, and entice fresh clients. The existing banking application was developed a few years ago, following previous banking trends and UX patterns, thus reaching the end of its standard digital banking product life cycle.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Create an mobile app that could back the new strategy, enhance brand recognition, and entice fresh clients. Cooperation with Efigence resulted in the creation of a mobile application with a fresh design, unique solutions to support sales and user loyalty. At the end, this cooperation resulted in an increase in the number of users, products sold, as well as an increase in the transactionality of the mobile service.

Efigence, together with Credit Agricole, was responsible for creating the UX layer of the bank's mobile application and managing the design process that would fit into the huge agile structure of the organization. 

The 10-person Efigence UX / UI team cooperated with the bank's internal design team, various business teams and technology vendors. We find it very effective because communication between teams was swift and our common activities were coherent and based on the same goals.

While their usability testing process was ok, it still needs improvement.

What were your goals for this project?

Design efficient processes for sales (onboarding, new sales, x-sells) capabilities and self-service processes. As a part of Bank digital strategy channels are going bring strong business value for bank for fallowing years. Strategic goals are to achieve:

We were working in agile so we used - Scrum Team consists of a Product Owner, the Development Team and a Scrum Master. Teams were self-organizing and cross-functional and they have all competencies needed to accomplish the work without depending on others not part of the team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've got very positive customer feedback and we meet business goals. Currently on our digital platform we have more than 1 mln active users and majority of them are using mobile channels (Mobile App and Internet banking from Mobile device).

We have been working as a one time and on one backlog and cooperation is still as a role model for BNP Paribas group.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We received simple and fresh approach to design and seamless processes. We were often changed by ideas that they come up with and it helped us to change status quo and not user friendly ideas.

f5.pl is an online edition of F5 – the Polish lifestyle magazine. They have both been published since 2010. They focus on sectors such as market, culture, fashion design and foodie, offering readers unique content with a lot of interesting facts from around the world. I am the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the online and print versions of the magazine.

For what projects/services did your company hire Artegence?

The old f5.pl website was already showing its age. It needed a new version and strong visual language to align with today’s digital consumer behaviours. We needed a refresh. We hired Artegence to implement a completely new Fpiec.pl – both design & development.

What were your goals for this project?

We were looking for our unique, online style. We had to provide a proper content classification, having in mind large numbers of users with different interests and hobbies. It was crucial to make f5.pl a unique and visually attractive space for brands – both in the form of digital advertising formats and as an original content marketing platform. We wanted to provide attractive opportunities for our advertisers.

We knew Artegence as one of the best digital & technology agencies on the Polish market. Their portfolio was impressive and we also knew some experts from the company. We wanted to run this project with an experienced and qualified team – especially in web design and development. Artegence was a reliable option.

Artegence experts were responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the portal. During our meetings we established who are our target groups and how to reach them.

Together with Artegence we quickly came up with look & feel goals, information architecture, commercial requirements of the online magazine and actually everything that we needed to do. Artegence provided us with a product concept: we could choose from three design versions.

All ideas were suited to our readers’ needs. Finally, we chose the most minimalistic and – in our opinion – unique idea. After that Artegence went through a development process:

a) unique design and CMS implementation

b) publication process adaptation in agreement with our (publisher’s) needs

c) they also provided us with a convenient advertising management mechanism including many different marketing formats.

We value Artegence’s great communication, project management and friendly cooperation. We knew that we could count on Artegence’s team in every case, in all phases of the project. Our meetings were always very productive – the flow was great so both sides were coming up with creative ideas. We felt that we have an experienced partner that we can trust in all design and development cases. When it comes to communication tools, we were working via Redmine.

Volkswagen is one of the leading automobile manufacturers in the world, and one of the biggest sellers of automobiles in Poland.

For what projects/services did your company hire Artegence?

Artegence was hired to support ongoing digital projects including Volkswagen’s website, and to analyze user behavior on the site. The results from this analysis indicated that we needed a tool to search for cars available at a given moment in all dealerships in Poland. We chose Artegence to extend and ameliorate the stock locator tool that we already had. Artegence provided us with UI/UX design and development support.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was not only to develop an attractive and user-friendly tool, but also to increase the number of leads on the stock locator. It was crucial for us to improve the lead-to-purchase rate.

We selected Artegence based on their excellent capability and effectiveness. Projects were always on time. Our cooperation from the beginning to the end was professional and friendly.

Based on the users’ and UX designer’s opinions about the old version of the stock locator, Artegence made mock-ups which were trialled by a group of 100 users. After that they prepared a design and programmed the site, and implemented advanced analytics to allow monitoring of how users actually use the tool. This enabled us, together with Artegence, to best adapt the tool to user needs for each campaign.

What was the team composition?

We were assigned a Project Manager to support us as the main point of contact throughout the project. A team of UX and UI Designers, two Frontend Developers, two Backend Developers and a QA unit worked on this project as well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After launching the tool, car sales increased significantly – mostly due to the stock locator. The lead-to-purchase rate increased by 15%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that we were assigned was easy to communicate with and provided us frequent updates. We made phone contact at least twice a week. We were impressed by the professionalism of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were blown away by their knowledge. Especially about website design, user experience and optimization. We were impressed with their flexibility and technical knowledge. Their team was the perfect fit for the project—they were friendly and professional throughout. I will certainly engage with this company again for any website needs that we have in the future.

When it comes to our cooperation with the team — there are no objections. We know that thanks to the new tool we are able to make ongoing improvements.

What were your goals for this project?

To create a modern, unique web magazine platform. Unique design and visual language were of utmost importance. All to boost the brand’s recognition among users. Also, our goals were to become first choice in the category for readers and to attract a new, younger generation of women readers.

A few years ago we did another redesign together for our main brand – the online newspaper platform.

Artegence was responsible for the UX workshop, product concept and UI/UX design of our platform. Together we established our premises: who are our users, what, where and how they read, who’s our competition and what they do, who are our potential new target group and how to reach them.

Then Artegence provided us with a product concept; a few screens and user flows presenting a new approach to user experience and interface design.

When it comes to visual design, we wanted it to be minimalistic and elegant, but also distinctive and – the most important - unique. Then Artegence prepared a user interface style guide and all user flows for desktop and mobile. At the end they were responsible for user tests.

What was the team composition?

The Artegence team was comprised a UX researcher (initial UX workshops and user test sessions), UX designer and UI designer working together. There was also a Project Manager role in the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Six months after the site was launched, we saw a great increase per year: 54% more reach and 38.6% more page views. Website was promoted to 3rd place among women's magazine websites in Poland!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Thanks to the initial UX workshop we had very good communication throughout the whole project. The project manager kept us updated and well informed. The cooperation and project flow inside the team were very effective. When it comes to tools, the PM’s main tool was Redmine, and there was a Slack alternative for communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were pleasantly surprised by the unique, fresh approach to design they presented. We could immediately discern the top-level quality.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In such portals, conversion rate is one of the most important elements. And with conversion there’s always room for optimization – it’s constant work on user experience.

Oriflame is one of the world’s biggest beauty brands operating in direct selling business, with Swedish origins. In the company, I’m responsible for defining and executing the digital strategy (Social Media, SEM, SEO, Website, Mobile Apps, CRM, E-learnings) in line with the business strategy for the Polish market.

What were your goals for this project?

Creating a webpage that would help Oriflame consultants to grow their knowledge about running business online. The site was supposed to be clear, easy to navigate and highly informative. We needed a space that would aggregate knowledge about marketing, business relations, social media, online recruitment.

We've already worked together on other projects for our brand and we were pleased with the cooperation plus we run a small contest of offers on the market for the project. We choose Artegence mainly because of their UX/UI skills.

Many of our consultants find the platform very useful. They value the knowledge and practical tips we provide them in an attractive form.

It’s important to understand that Oriflame consultants come from different backgrounds. They are women and men of all ages. Not everyone is digital savvy, so the website Artegence created is a great tool for them!

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We plan large projects a few months ahead. The account manager was responsible for coordinating communication between our teams. Numerous times we’ve worked together at the Oriflame headquarters – our team values face to face communication.

I am a Project Owner of implementation of new website for B2C and B2B customers. Nationale-Nederlanden is one of the bigest European  insurance companies with approximately 4 million customers on our local market. We offer life and pension products.

We wanted to increase our organic traffic and number of leads that we receive through our lead forms on the website. We also needed fast and user friendly CMS for instant changes on the platform. Having inhouse possibilities for creating sub webs with new products.

First of all we searched for the best vendors on Polish market with the biggest experience in digital. We started the RFI process and after having preliminary offers we selected best five offers for the RFP process. Finally we selected vendor based on the quality of their final proposal, their know-how and their price which was very fair.

Once we selected this vendor, we had a series of meetings regarding our goals and objectives. After that vendor came with an implementation schedule divided in to phases (Discover, Design (UX & UI), Development, Test, Launch).

After our new website was launched we noticed increase in overall traffic and higher conversion rate from the lead forms. The new design is much more user friendly and leads customer by the hand to the products that they are looking for.

We hear positive feedbak on the usability, flow and look and feel. The CMS which was recomended by the vendor improved our workflow and effectiveness.

The communication beetwen us and the vendor was very smooth, we had a sense of control over the project and watching over the schedule.
