I’m the founder of a training and development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eficaz Technology Solutions?

We have a child abuse prevention training online and we needed someone to redo the site and streamline the process for participation.

What was the scope of their involvement?

What they created is a brand new website with an e-learning component, as well as an automated sign-up and payment system through PayPal. They made it so that camps in Texas are required to go through the abuse prevention training, register their camp, and purchase credits for people to go through the training. People would then go there, click on their camp, and set up a safeguard where the admins of each camp would approve the creation of the certificate.

The credits would only be used by the people who want to go through the program, so it can generate a certificate. The program would then remind the person in two years that they need to go through it again, as it is a two-year certification.

What is the team composition?

I coordinate everything through Harishanker (Technical Director) and basically work directly with him. I know he has 2–3 people who are working on the project.

How did you come to work with Eficaz Technology Solutions?

I’ve used Harishanker on three other projects in the past, so I already knew he could put together a team and manage a project. I met him originally when I built an online interview system in 2013, for which he was a project manager. We reached out and he gave his proposal — it looked great so we moved forward.

How much have you invested with them?

For this project, we’ve spent $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This particular project started in April 2021, and the partnership is still ongoing. They’re still providing support for the site.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I will say that the team really cares about getting the project right. There are always issues when you go through any kind of development program, and I appreciate that they keep on top of the project until it gets corrected.

How did Eficaz Technology Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We made a couple of changes to the project that put us about two weeks behind the deadline, but for any tech project, that’s already pretty good. They still hit the deadlines on the previous projects we mapped out, they just sometimes get delayed whenever we make changes.

I’m not sure what project management tool they use on their end. Harishankar just sends us updates based on the project tree idea we did together, which had an outline of everything we needed to do. He would give me updates on what components are functional, and when they’re ready.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out is that they got good tenacity in finding bugs, and making sure everything is worked out at the end of the project. Things end up working as smoothly as they’re supposed to, so I’m impressed with their push towards eliminating bugs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One thing that’s always been a challenge for me is that sometimes they don’t see how something can be translated over to the client’s experience. I would want them to improve on learning how to go through a process on how we want the end-user to feel and experience.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The more you map out your project before you start it, the fewer changes you need to make and the more efficient the whole thing will be.

The stem specification was developed by our IT Director in collaboration with Eficaz

The scope of work included the design, development and implementation of our two backend applications named PEARL & GEMS. There was already a Version 1 of both these applications but it was impossible to manage that efficiently due to complexity, old technology used and changes in our business pattern.

Once they had a good understanding of Version 1 with the help of our IT Manager, they came up with a cost and timeline, which was very much affordable and process driven. Further on during the process of development, their Project Manager interacted with our IT Manager regularly, provided progress updates and met with all the proposed timelines. The application then went through beta testing for a couple of months with our staff involved and necessary amendments were made wherever required.

We are still bringing in new features and changes into the application based on our business needs and it is being effectively handled by them, without compromising on the quality and stability of the application.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project deliverables exactly matched our requirements and they took complete care of migrating data from the old application to the new one, which helped in the smooth transition. Not only that the application has certainly allowed us to invest more man hours into building the business, the ability to drill down on date has helped us manage our business more efficiently.

We have also gone back to them for building a Mobile App for Trainers, which has been a success and are planning for other future app development works.

They have been collaborative and open to ideas and changes.

The skill and knowledge was clear from the start, the ability it react and advise

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Covid been a challenge for many organisations. Pressures to deliver whilst on reduced manpower has been a challenge. How this should have been articulated or existing internal work planned could help meet expectations

Client required a sports recruitment site, with region-specific promotional front-end sites build on WordPress CMS, linked to a centralised member admin area.

For what projects/services did your company hire Eficaz Technology Solutions, and what were your goals?

Solution had the complexity of being delivered to 3 different geographic regions (UK, AU and NZ), however centrally managed via a .org site. Integration requires seamless carry-over of regional aspects.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Development of a multi-regional sports recruitment solution build on WordPress and linked back to a central members area that provides both administration services, agent management features and member area for subscribers to update their personal profile details.

Scope included both the design and implementation of the 3 region-specific promotional wordpress sites, along with complete custom-code members area that provides functionality to admin the site, sports, agents, coaches and student athlete (members).

Approx 2-3 developers were on this task, including Hari as the project manager overseeing this assignment.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The solution is currently finalizing its 2nd iteration of this project's development, involving frequent client reviews/feedback and minor solution adjustments.

The initial project scope was provided via a detailed Word document. The content was provided by the client. Communication was primarily via emails and chat.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The capability set was extensive - extending beyond web technologies to include software development as well. While we didn't utilize this for our project, the ability to extend this to a mobile app is appealing to keep the entire solution under one development company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Tighter quality controls would probably be the only area for improvement. Developers get things implemented quickly, however, this can lead to other issues if not fully tested ahead of hand-over.

I am the owner and CEO of a mobile app called FITBET. We are the only fitness betting app on the market which allows you to place a real wager on your running or cycling abilities versing one or more people.

We hired Eficaz Technology Solutions to fully develop my app on both IOS and Android platforms. My goals were to have a fully functional and working app for public use within a 6 - 8 month time frame.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I had heard really good things about Eficaz Technology Solutions from another company I know who has used their services as well as reading the reviews of the company. After reaching out to them I was looking to see if they were able to add any extra ideas from what I had originally laid out for them. They certainly passed my initial test as they were able to outline many different options for the functionality of the app.

From the beginning, I had sent through a detailed business case along with flow charts on what the app does and how I think it should look. From there we talked a number of times to iron out the final draft before moving on to developing the app. From there once we all were on the same page on how the app should look and work we were able to talk about costing and timelines.

This was an easy conversation with Eficaz Technology Solutions as they detailed in-depth how they will produce the app and how long it will take them (with timelines scheduled in the initial quote). It was very thorough and professional. His company used software developers, designers, app developers, web design and other IT experts.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I had a project manager assigned to me as my main point of contact. During the process, I had some interaction with other members of his team but generally, all questions were through him. This is a very good way of doing business as I personally wouldn't have liked to have to deal with all other departments.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Throughout the build, I was given a clear set of timings on which certain elements would be ready for testing. Through each stage of testing, we would go over any notes I gave that needed further adjusting, also any changes that need to be made. In general, I felt it was an open conversation where we were both on the same page.

I trusted them with delivering the app on time and they did not disappoint me. We have had the app in the app store for some time now, I have even gone back to Eficaz Technology Solutions to upgrade it to version 2.0 This has been extremely successful.

The Project Manager was always available to answer questions as well as always offer solutions to any small or large issue. He has an attitude where No simply is not an answer, He would always find solutions. He was also very punctual in his timings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

That they were able to execute each stage of the build to exactly how I imagined it to be. The company really listened to me as a client and was not afraid to ask questions. Very professional, flexible, and knowledgeable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of, We had a very clear and open dialogue. If I had concerns they were heard and either dealt with or new solutions would be presented to me

I'm the technology guru that keeps the site operational.

The tournament website was created over 20 years ago and had become outdated. We have been working with Eficaz Technology Solutions for years on keeping the backend and registration features updated and functioning properly. In April we need to revamp the entire administration and registration section of the website. After launching the website, there were some minor bugs with the registration and how the notifications were sent. We let them know and they were quick to fix the issue.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Eficaz Technology Solutions level of expertise and Agile methodologies were key deciding factors.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss the updates and upgrades that would be needed for our website to function in the new hosting environment. Their team took the old registration and admin section and updated it sprints. We met every few days to review work that was done and what was going to be done.

A project manager and a web developer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

We met ever few days with their project manager, who communicated the project status. If there were any delays, they let us know immediately. We used Skype, email and excel which worked well with this project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Eficaz Technology Solutions delivered a functioning registration website for the tournament. They were quick to find a solution for any bugs or issues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

After launching the website, there were some minor bugs with the registration and how the notifications were sent. We let them know and they were quick to fix the issue.
