While the client portal project was primarily a foundational build, it delivered clear, measurable progress across operations, sales workflows, and scalability for Big Fat Links.Order creation, project setup, and client tracking were mapped into automated workflows. This removed our reliance on spreadsheets and manual handovers between sales and delivery, resulting in faster onboarding and fewer internal errors during fulfillment.Moreover, the clear integration logic between Salesforce, WooCommerce, and the portal meant orders and opportunities could convert directly into live projects. This resulted in less back-and-forth between teams to clarify scope or order details and reduced friction between our sales and operations teams. Additionally, our internal teams gained a single source of truth for order status, project progress, and client history. This improved accountability and reduced the need for internal check-ins or status chasing. On the other hand, our clients gained visibility into active orders, delivery status, and order history, which reduced ad hoc update requests and set clearer expectations around delivery timelines.The portal was designed to support higher order volume, multiple product types, and both invoice and web-based sales. This removed operational bottlenecks that previously limited how quickly we could scale the business.Finally, the defined entity relationships across clients, orders, projects, and deliverables created a clean foundation for future performance reporting, client dashboards, and analytics. The centralized systems reduced our dependency on individual team members’ knowledge, and processes became documented, repeatable, and auditable.

The solution was clearly designed with revenue flow, operational efficiency, and scalability in mind, not just technical neatness.Additionally, their clear documentation and structure were impressive. The final specification was detailed, logical, and easy to follow. It gave us confidence that any development team could pick it up and build from it without ambiguity.Finally, their integration-first mindset was great.
