What challenge were you trying to address with Dtech Systems?When we started our company, we already had clients, but we had no digital footprint. We didn't have a logo, a color scheme, a website, a checkout page, or any automation. As a result, we were non-existent on the internet. Therefore, we hired Dtech Systems to help us out.

What was the scope of their involvement?Dtech Systems created a website for us, including its design, logo, colors, and content. The team also developed our checkout page and automated its features. Moreover, they set up our email service. The web pages included a home page, a services page, a pricing page, an about us page, and a contact page. As for the technology stack, we used Canva for the design.For this website, we specifically requested that our services and pricing be split. We're a very niche company, so they weren't able to copy and paste a website from somewhere else; everything had to be developed from scratch.We provide very specific services for individuals, educational institutions, and organizations. However, not all of those services have pricing. This was possible mainly due to the effective communication on both ends. Our most used and effective communication channel was a WhatsApp group. We also used email and Google Meet. We communicated daily via WhatsApp and email, and we had a weekly Google Meet call.Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?I would like to give a shout-out to Talha.What did you find most impressive about them?Nowadays, it's hard to find people who stick to their promises. Everything is contract-based, so once a contract is signed, that's what the client can expect. However, Talha did a lot more than that. He stretched his work far beyond what the contract stipulated, and whatever he promised, he ensured to stick to it and over-deliver. We were very happy with their work, and we'll continue working with them in the future.Are there any areas they could improve?Overall, Dtech Systems was perfect. Although there were small issues within their team, it was nothing major or worth mentioning.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Be ready because they get things done. Once you reach out to them and start the project, they'll get you across the finish line. Many projects nowadays get started, but they don't get finished. We had a place for planning, a place to assess requirements, and a place to find files. We've hired Dtech Systems to help us manage our projects. The project scope involves automating the process of receiving requests from end clients and getting enough information to start planning, budgeting, and scoping projects. We also needed to implement a reporting dashboard for management to know the project's progress. When we receive requests, they come through a form. The requester has to fill in the information, and once they submit the form, a task is assigned to a teammate within our team. That teammate reviews the initial request and meets within the same request to collect more information. If the request is a project, they assign it to another team, which evaluates the scope and defines its importance and impact within our organization to define the benefits it will have for us.What is the team composition?We work with four teammates from Dtech Systems, including their CEO.How did you come to work with Dtech Systems?Dtech Systems was appointed by ClickUp, which is the company that created the tool we use. ### ZMN LOAD
An App that conveniently connects shippers with the nearest available trucker for heavy load shipments. The app provides complete transparency and a tracking feature to the shipper so that they can manage their shipments without hassles and utmost satisfaction.
Challenge
Location Accuracy
Whenever you get a location from a mobile device it will show you a blue dot and a circle around it, and send a random location within that circle. Sometimes this would lead to the user being on one side of the road and the location showing him on the other side of the road.

Drawing user path on the road
One of the requirements we received from the client was to draw the path a user took for a trip. When we drew all the saved locations, for a trip on the map, it was rarely a straight line, even on straight roads.
Solution
To control this we implemented a location accuracy check where each time we got the user’s location, we also checked the location’s accuracy and if the accuracy was higher than a certain limit we discarded that location and got a new location.

To resolve this issue we used an API provided by Google called “Roads API”. We passed saved paths to the roads API and it would return a list of points exactly on the road.

We decided to move this logic to the mobile side and saved the data in the database. And each time the admin visited the filters page he would see the saved data. Doing this not only helped with the cost, it also helped us increase the page speed dramatically.

Proposed a solution to merge the 3 different panels into 1 web application with a streamlined flow.

Opening documents in-app for annotation
A PDFviewer and editor were built for opening PDF documents in the web app itself and making notes on them.

Integration with ORCID API
ORCID users API was integrated with the system for users to register with their ORCID account and their information was saved into the profile.
Solution
The users are able to add an organization of their own by adding the registered members and selecting the research stages for it. The members of the organization are able to submit proposals to the admin and start/manage their own research with the other members of the group.

The users are able to start/manage research on an individual/group level. They can assign different research stages to different members and assign a due date. The admins can track the progress of each research in their organization.

Two types of forums have been implemented. An inbound forum is for the discussions that other members of the system have initiated with the user as an admin of the organization while an outbound forum is a discussion that the user itself has initiated with the admins of other organizations.

The users can maintain/manage their own library by adding articles, filtering them and annotating them within the system. They can find articles on Google scholar and save them as important links for later use.

Social media logins on user registration:On the registration screen, the users can register by using their social media accounts such as Facebook and Twitter. All the basic profile information is fetched from their social media accounts and saved into the profile.
OTP in the user registration:Once the users fills out their registration form and hits the submit button an SMS is sent to their given mobile number with a code. At this stage user status is pending. Users are redirected to the next page where they have the form to enter OTP for verification.
Implement Saudi National Address API with Google Maps:At checkout, the users have the option to enter their location by Saudi national address. The API searches for users location and it gives all the location parameters i.e. Building Number, ZipCode, Additional Number etc.
Users location to be shared with all drivers:Once the users have placed an order successfully, their complete address information is sent to all the drivers via email that helps the nearest driver available to respond and deliver the order to the desired customer.
