What were your goals for this project?

I initially hired Dreamix to fix a major bug that was causing Twibble web application to shut down every week or so. Moreover, the users were unable to log in. Massive db problems due to Elasticsearch. Basically nothing worked and the entire backend had to be rebuilt.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I met Stoyan Mitov in San Francisco who introduced me to the team and I became convinced they were a great dev team.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

When they joined, they started debugging, scrutinizing through the code and system. It appeared that Elasticsearch was used as a database which was a problem because Elastic doesn't support ACID transactions. In short, it led to no guarantee that Twitter's authentication token will be available when someone wants to login.

We fixed the many memory issues one by one, moved the database to MySQL and the web app started to operate smoothly. After the fix, Dreamix team started working on new features and was responsible for the support.

For companies and industry partners, eJourney creates new opportunities: Companies can manage corporate travel and offer travel benefits to employees. Travel agencies and Umrah operators can manage packages and group bookings. Transportation providers can offer their services to a wider audience. Hotels and travel partners can join a broader digital ecosystem. Vendors can reach travelers through Souq eJourney.
