What challenge were you trying to address with Dreamer Technoland?

We were looking for a software solution that could tie in all of our daily projects' needs. We needed general daily access to full projects since we were using three different software on a monthly subscription basis. We wanted to build an in-house software that combined all tasks under one umbrella and that we owned to take advantage of it and expand as necessary.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We first had three free meetings with Dreamer Technoland so they could understand what we were trying to accomplish. We went through detailed items, and the team came back with a summary of the entire conversation, allowing us to fix, adjust, or add anything we needed. Once we agreed on the requirements, we had follow-up calls. 

Dreamer Technoland has completed our software, which allows our teammates to clock in and out from the job site, manage material requests, and generate daily reports. The team has built a mobile version for iOS and Android devices so teammates working on the field can access it from their phones or iPads and a desktop application. Dreamer Technoland has created extensive coding for the different applications.

We've worked with Dreamer Technoland's president, who is involved, hands-on, and present in all our meetings. I know he works with other 3–4 teammates on our project.

How did you come to work with Dreamer Technoland?

I found Dreamer Technoland through LinkedIn. The team was quick to respond and discuss our requirements. Dreamer Technoland also had prior knowledge of the construction industry and what we needed, which saved us time in getting someone up to speed about what we wanted.
How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $30,000–$40,000 on the project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since November 2023. The software is completed, and we're still working with Dreamer Technoland on ideas to expand the solution.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Dreamer Technoland has successfully deployed the app, which has saved us around 10% of labor hours that were not correctly documented. We can now track our employees' work by GPS instead of having them clock in and out using paper and a pen. The app provides an actual picture with a GPS location. Another great thing is that we can communicate with vendors through the app, whereas before, we used email to communicate any material missing or daily issues. 

Now, all our material orders are organized in the app. When we talk to a vendor, there is a purchase order number and details within each order, as well as a tracking history. When one of our employees requests a material, I can see the tracking history to confirm if it's actually missing. The system doesn't clear the order until the material is delivered to the job site and signed off. We have a clear vision, which keeps our team in line and communicating all together. 

Dreamer Technoland has quickly understood our requirements. 

How did Dreamer Technoland perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The team has given us a budget and stuck to it. The only added items are the work we've added to the software. Dreamer Technoland has honored the original pricing on every task we gave them. We received updates every 2–3 weeks about the team's progress during development. Dreamer Technoland keeps us involved and is great to work with.

Dreamer Technoland records our conversations and goes back to study them. If there is any question about something I said or they missed it, the team comes back and asks questions about it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dreamer Technoland isn't just a team of programmers. The team has dived deep into understanding our operations to find the most straightforward and fastest solution. For instance, most of our team works on job sites and needs a simple application that can work quickly and is user-friendly. Dreamer Technoland understands how our team communicates with vendors to streamline it. The team is excellent; they just need to keep doing what they're doing and being hands-on and involved.

I can't think of anything Dreamer Technoland can improve.

Ensure everything is communicated to Dreamer Technoland; the earlier, the better. I suggest having your ideas written down on paper or on a computer before having a conversation with the team so nothing is missed.

Because of many supplier for one UPC, it become difficult to identify best supplier for the item Since 1000+ items are getting negotiated on daily basis, tracking price offered by supplier and offered to customer become difficult Supplier and customer could be using different currency.

Because of this, lot of time is getting consumed in currency conversion Tracking Item details i.e. Best offer received in X years, Past Customers Orders, Latest Offer, Open Query/Orders etc. Generating packing list for a customer combining all open orders.

This project is to consolidate lead data from various sources (CSV files from vendors or LeadsPedia) into master database which will be used to query required information related to lead.

1. How many times mail has been sent
2. Filtering capabilities based on various fields Idea is to understand if there is no response via Mail or call, we should avoid those leads.

Challenges:

1. Different source providing data in csv/excel file could have different format
2. File size could be big. One of the sample files is having 90k+ records
3. Logic or method to merge same lead into one.

API Integration Required:

1. LeadsPedia: LeadsPedia will keep all lead records coming from web forms, CRMs or other digital platforms. API integration will be used to fetch required lead information from LeadsPedia into master database.
2. USPS: Address from LeadsPedia will be processed through USPS to get it formatted properly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The communication was great and the deadlines were met. They are also very good at explaining what steps are needed and checking in frequently as work is completed to make sure everything is designed and functioning as planned. This avoided work needing to be re done.

We used Skype for most of our communication. Larger outlines were passed through email.

We were impressed by their ability to understand the layers needed. Many tech companies can only work with another companies development team, but Saurabh is very good at accommodating the work based on the needed functionality of the end product.

I haven't experienced any areas that need improvement as of yet.

I own and manage Quiq Auto Glass, an auto glass installation and replacement company. We also do ADAS calibration for cars with advanced driver assistance systems. We work in three states: California, Oregon, and Washington. We have 16 technicians in these locations and have five more people working on the administrative side.

We wanted to create a web and mobile app that would consolidate everything we do in one place and be designed specifically for our needs.

We told Dreamer Technoland what we needed, and they started working on it. They presented a draft for a web app and mobile apps for Android and iOS. They then designed the website. 

At present, we’re still working with the team. We expanding the business to new locations and business modules, and we utilize the web and mobile apps to manage our work, including sending invoices to customers and receiving payment reports.

We found them on Upwork. I was looking for companies to help us with the design, and Dreamer Technoland was the second cheapest. I checked their profile and saw they’d done much more detailed work than other companies. I decided to go with them and asked them to create a rough draft. I liked it, so we started working together.

We’ve invested around $40,000.

The engagement started in March 2022, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app has helped us expand to other places. Everything is automated on the administrative side — we’ve saved three teammates and put them on other projects. The app has also helped us avoid errors. For context, we used to have three teammates downloading files and writing reports, and there were a lot of errors. Now, the app has significantly reduced those errors. 

How did Dreamer Technoland perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through the phone and WhatsApp. For meetings, we use Microsoft Teams. If we have issues that prevent us from working. Dreamer Technoland answers quickly; they’re pretty responsive. 

For instance, we once had a major issue. The app stopped working, and no one could log in. I called Saurabh, who told me the problem. He gave me ideas and options. We came up with a plan, and the issue was resolved in 2–3 hours. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dreamer Technoland’s communication is great. Saurabh responds quickly when we have issues. He goes into so much detail when we discuss ideas; the details he provides with the design help us a lot. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. Everything has been working perfectly for me.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Throw an idea on a piece of paper, and Dreamer Technoland will go into detail. They’ve come up with several designs and ideas.

I have used Dreamer Technoland for all my coding and development needs for at least five years. We work with Saurabh, and he has been outstanding throughout the whole process. We had him and his team develop a custom software program that manages the entire business. We provide a service that searches the internet for our client’s private personal information. 

We then use an automated database to assist with removing their information. It was a ground-up build, and Saurabh was able to develop a platform that met all of our needs. His knowledge, skill set, and honesty were the most valuable asset of working with Saurabh. We never found ourselves questioning his integrity or feeling that he overcharged us. His English skills we excellent, and we never had any issues with a language barrier. 

Overall it was an excellent decision to work with Dreamer Technoland, and we still use the service anytime we need to upgrade our program or customize it to grow our business.
