The scope of work included the design, development, and deployment of a custom Transportation Management System (TMS) tailored to our trucking operations. The software was built to support load management, dispatching, driver assignment, document management, billing, reporting, and compliance tracking.

Key deliverables included a web-based TMS platform with user authentication and role-based access, load and dispatch management modules, driver and equipment profiles, document upload and storage functionality (including PODs and rate confirmations), mileage and trip tracking, reporting dashboards, and system integrations necessary to support daily operations. The project also included testing, deployment, and post-launch support to ensure system functionality and usability.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project resulted in measurable operational improvements, including streamlined load dispatching, centralized tracking of drivers, equipment, and documents, and improved visibility into daily operations. Manual processes were reduced by consolidating dispatch, documentation, and reporting into a single system, which improved accuracy and reduced administrative time. The system enabled faster load assignment, better recordkeeping for compliance and audits, and more consistent reporting of mileage, loads, and performance metrics. Overall, the TMS improved operational efficiency, data organization, and scalability to support company growth.

The project was managed in a structured and organized manner, with clear timelines, milestones, and regular progress updates throughout development.
